This K-Beauty brand really understands how to create a very satisfying double cleanse, and as someone who always uses a cleansing oil paired with a lathering cleanser, I truly appreciate the efficacy of this pair, and I am thrilled to report that it is very kind and gentle on my skin. After the double cleanse, my skin is left soft, smooth, supple and lightly hydrated. Furthermore, it neither strips, nor dries out my skin, but leaves it comfortable and clean. Unlike the Bean Cleansing Oil, I do not detect any scent in this cleanser.

It cleanses the skin thoroughly and leaves it hydrated, but without a greasy film. It washes clean and skin is left feeling comfortable and never stripped. There is no detectable scent and it forms a very satisfying lather– it is such a pleasure to use and it makes my skin feel so soft and supple. man:yo Pure Soybean Cleansing Milk is my latest discovery from this wonderful K-Beauty brand, and while I must confess that my preference has always been foaming/lathering cleansers– this is on the very short list of non-foaming cleansing milks that actually challenge that preference. This is a very lightweight and nourishing cleaning milk that removes makeup and sunscreen and leaves skin clean, soft and free of any sort of unpleasant residue. It has no detectable aroma, and is formulated to even be safe around the eyes. I always use a separate eye makeup remover, but this cleansing milk has accidentally gotten into my sensitive eyes, and they didn't water or become irritated.

I have normal skin with some activity in my t-zone, but not enough to be true combination skin, and it works very well for me. This rinses clean without any sort of residue, and it has the most faint clean scent of matcha.

That it is a powder makes it ideal for travel.

LUV UR SKIN Take Off Gentle Face Wash, which is cruelty-free and vegan, is from an environmentally friendly Australian brand. This gentle cleanser is suitable for teens and adults alike, and it is non-stripping and it leaves skin soft, smooth, balanced and lightly hydrated. It is also calming for irritated skin, and therefore is perfect for breakouts or super-sensitive skin.

Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel is an exfoliating Glycolic and Salicylic Acids gel cleanser that effectively removes dead skin cells, cleans the skin, dissolves makeup and leaves skin deeply cleansed, soft, smooth and radiant without stripping or drying out the skin. This cleanser forms a satisfying lather and it has a light citrus aroma that is neither long-lasting, nor overpowering. For my normal to combination skin, I can use this cleanser once a day and it doesn't dry out my skin or leave it uncomfortable in any way. It is formulated for all types of skin, but people with dryer skin types will want to use it less frequently than people with oilier skin. Your usage will depend upon your skin type, and your need for exfoliation.

Directions: Combination, oily and acne prone skin, use once or twice daily. Normal, dry and sun damaged skin, use two to three times a week at first, increasing usage if well-tolerated. Apply a small amount of cleansing gel over moistened skin with the fingertips. Work into a rich, foamy lather and massage gently for one minute. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and gently pat dry. Follow with PTR treatment product, moisturizer and/or sun protection.

Overall Assessment: This is a very effective exfoliating cleanser, and I am surprised by the extent to which my skin is left so soft and smooth!
