Weleda Skin Food Lip Butter is an ultra-emollient and seriously moisturizing lip treatment. It is lightweight, very nourishing and it effectively and efficiently heals even the most chapped lips. Lips are left remarkably soft, smooth, and unmistakably hydrated. It has a light herbal aroma, but it isn't overwhelming, or long-lasting. I leave a tube in my desk drawer and one in my purse, and I buy two at a time! This cruelty-free lip butter is worth its weight in gold for me, and I will continue buying as long as they make it!

Weleda Skin Food Light Nourishing Cream Review

Weleda Skin Food Light Nourishing Cream is a cream that I have been meaning to try for quite a while. Years ago I tried their original Skin Food– which is much richer– and I loved everything about it, but it was a bit too rich for daily use on my normal/combination skin. Therefore, for me, a lighter version of that wonderful formula was perfect for the daily needs of my skin. This cream is quite emollient and nourishing, and it is very fast absorbing– especially when applied to slightly damp skin. It melts into the skin and leaves it hydrated, soft, supple and luminous. It has a delightful light herbal aroma, but it is neither distracting, nor long-lasting. This eco-friendly and cruelty-free cream is housed in an environmentally friendly metal tube, and features very little plastic (only the cap is plastic). I am so happy with this cream, and use it on my face, neck, décolleté, and on any part of my body that needs a little extra nourishing moisture. Additionally, this cream is affordable at $22.99 for 2.5 oz.

I have used numerous skincare products from Siam Seas over the years, and their products are nothing short of extraordinary.

About Siam Seas and the founder:

Siam Seas was created by Supadra Geronimo in 2015 to showcase the herbal beauty traditions that she grew up with in Thailand. The potions Supadra creates are specific to her own memories of growing up in Thailand, an homage to her herbalist grandmother, with influences from Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Thai medicine. And yet, her work is infused with a personality of its own that comes from her, that streak of rebellion that characterizes & elevates all of her work making it very original but still tied to a specific time and place.

Siam Seas Kwam Rak Radiance Body Serum is an absolutely delectable hybrid body serum that deeply hydrates and moisturizes the body with the efficacy of a rich body lotion and an emollient body oil combined. It has a remarkably lightweight texture that is creamy and it melts into the skin in the most satisfying way. Skin is left soft, smooth, supple, radiant and silky to the touch. The complex aroma transforms from a spicy earthy scent to a more complex floral punctuated by Jasmine Sambac.

This beautiful serum made in a base of aloe and this allows it to absorb into dry skin with great efficacy, but I still prefer applying it to slightly damp skin since it spreads and absorbs quicker and more efficiently.

Overall Assessment: This is currently my very favorite body oil/serum. I love the texture, the aroma and the way in which it leaves my ski so soft, supple, moisturized and luminous. It is quite expensive, but a little goes a long way. I am keeping an eye out for a sale, but I definitely see another bottle in my future.

This antioxidant-rich formula, in a base of camellia leaf water and green tea, calms stressed skin and soothes irritation and redness. The tamanu oil, which is a healing oil is paired with jojoba oil and together this lightweight combination helps repair the skin barrier while providing vital hydration. Boxwalla asserts, "it is paired with a volcanic ash and houttuynia ferment, a uniquely Korean approach to purifying and balancing the skin, helping to soothe irritation while refining the look of pores and blemishes." This wonderfully nourishing serum has a very light and pleasant herbal aroma, but it is neither long-lasting, nor assertive.

According to PinkWonder,

The PINKWONDER Tamanu Hero Ampoule⁺ targets blemishes, redness, and uneven skin tone with a lightweight yet powerful formula. Proven results show a 19.8% reduction in irritation-induced blemishes and a 27.5% improvement in sebum balance within just two weeks.

Tamanu oil restores vitality and helps fade discoloration, while golden organic jojoba oil deeply nourishes and locks in hydration. It is filled with skin-loving lipids that moisturize and nourish the skin, and it is likewise filled with actives formulated to brighten the skin. My skin feels thoroughly moisturized, brightened, calm and supple when I use this serum at the end of this remarkable trio of serums.

Boxwalla asserts, "Niacinamide and vitamin C (in the form of magnesium ascorbyl phosphate) help support clarity and glow, while bakuchiol offers gentle renewal without the irritation of traditional retinoids." Furthermore, Boxwalla posits that it offers, "a barrier-repair blend of ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids, the same lipid trio found naturally in healthy skin. Squalane, jojoba, and sea buckthorn oil add nourishment and softness, while panthenol helps keep the skin calm and resilient."

According to WYLYS,

A multi-active treatment serum that combines hydration with anti-aging benefits to reduce dullness, revive firmness, and strengthen skin's moisture barrier. It is packed with vitamin C, bakuchiol and niacinamide for firmer, plumper, smoother-looking skin.

Overall Assessment:  This is a truly remarkable and brilliantly curated beauty box, and the value is as outstanding as the efficacy of these beautiful serums.

All of a sudden, I am seeing Native Body Washes everywhere! I have to say that the Native Body Wash in Sea Salt & Cedar is delectable. All of their scents are gender neutral, and there is a scent profile that will appeal to just about everyone. Sea Salt & Cedar features a breezy ocean aroma that is warmed up and intensified by the cedar. It creates a beautiful lather, but it isn't in the least bit stripping or drying, and the luscious aroma fills the shower, and bathroom with its essence. It is such a pleasure to experience, and it makes me even happier that it is cruelty-free. If you love scented body washes, it is really worth checking out Native's offerings. This is a luxury body wash at an affordable price.

Aippo Expert Soothing Ampoule (Light): This is the lightest of the three, weightless like meltwater on skin. Rediscovery: Nurive CoreVital Retinol Cream for 2026

Nurive CoreVital Retinol Cream is an effective and affordable cruelty-free retinol-based cream that I first discovered two or three years ago, and that I rediscovered recently. I regularly use retinol creams, and love finding effective and affordable versions, whenever possible. I have been using it nightly for a few months and forgot how much I really liked this one!

This retinol cream gently encourages skin cell turnover while nourishing, hydrating and smoothing the skin. It helps fade sun spots after extended use, and it is formulated with sensitive skin in mind. My skin is acclimated to retinol-based products because I use them regularly, and therefore there was no break-in period for me with this gentle retinol cream. However, It is always a good idea to patch test retinol products before using them on your whole face, and it is always a good idea to have your doctor evaluate your skin before using a product that exfoliates the skin. Suspicious dark spots and moles should be evaluated to make sure that they aren't cancerous or pre-cancerous since it would be a very bad idea to apply exfoliating products to those areas. Furthermore, it is very important to use a high SPF sunscreen on the skin when using products such as retinol since they leave the skin more vulnerable, and therefore one needs to further protect the skin. My skin doesn't peel or become dry with this retinol cream, and instead it looks refreshed and luminous.
