I first fell head-over-heels in love with WYLYS skincare when I first tried it in one of my favorite Boxwalla Beauty Boxes, and since that time my love has only grown. WYLYS is a luxury K-Beauty brand, but they marry the best of K-Beauty with extraordinary French manufacturing. WYLYS (When You Love Your Skin) produces highly effective products that boast stunning textures, real results and a skincare experience to be savored. They have a very precisely curated range of 5 products, and I really appreciate that they are not promoting a seemingly endless list of "necessary" products.

Here is the beauty and simplicity of using WYLYS products for your daily skincare routine:

Morning Skincare Routine:

1) Wash your face. If you only use a cleansing balm, then simply use WYLYS Phyto Green Cleansing Balm, but if you double cleanse, like I do, then follow up with your favorite cleanser.

2) Apply WYLYS Liquid V-Lift Replenishing One-Step Serum and gently massage it into the skin. This water-like serum sinks in and leaves skin feeling plumped and (up)lifted.

3) Massage a few drops of WYLYS Double Rose Luminizer Revitalizing Oil Serum into the skin. I use a face oil twice a day, but you can skin this step if you only use a face oil at night, or if you don't use one at all.

4) Massage WYLYS New Day Glow Brightening Pressed Serum into the skin. This serum is more of a lightweight lotion in its texture, and it is so hydrating that I use it in lieu of a cream or lotion. Follow using your favorite sunscreen.

Evening Skincare Routine:

1) Wash your face. If you only use a cleansing balm, then simply use WYLYS Phyto Green Cleansing Balm, but if you double cleanse, then follow up with your favorite cleanser.

2) Apply WYLYS Liquid V-Lift Replenishing One-Step Serum and gently massage it into the skin. This water-like serum sinks in and leaves skin feeling plumped and (up)lifted.

4) Massage WYLYS Nightinol Cream into your skin. This retinol cream will promote skin cell turnover while you sleep, and I am always astounded by how great my skin looks and feels the next morning. It is imperative to be diligent about using a high SPF sunscreen when using retinol-based products. While it is not essential, I have grown fond of, and accustomed to, using the WYLYS Rose Quartz Spatula with Nightinol, and because I store the spatula in the refrigerator, it is such a wonderfully cooling and refreshing step in my routine.

WYLYS Phyto Green Cleansing Balm (Full review HERE. $68.00 for 3.53 oz. from WYLYS Amazon Store, Nordstrom, Ulta, Bloomingdale's): This is an utterly gorgeous cleansing balm that melts into the skin and it does an exquisite job cleaning dirt and makeup. It transforms from a lightweight balm to a creamy and milky emulsion, and it rinses completely clean and leaves behind no oily residue, whatsoever. It leaves skin soft, smooth, supple and hydrated. It is very concentrated, and therefore you only need to massage a tiny amount into your skin. It has a wonderful herbaceous aroma, but it isn't in the least bit imposing, instead it is very pleasant and calming.

Directions: Scoop a small amount and apply to dry skin. Gently massage in circular motions to dissolve makeup and impurities. Add wet fingers to emulsify into a milky texture before rinsing with lukewarm water. Pat dry.

WYLYS Liquid V-Lift Replenishing One-Step Serum (Full review HERE. $195.00 for 1.01 oz. from WYLYS Amazon Store, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Ulta and eCosmetics): This is a serum unlike any that I have thus far tried. It has a watery consistency, a lovely floral herbal aroma and this Vegan peptide-rich serum– which is filled with ultra-effective ingredients such as Omega-3 Fatty Acids, Vegan Collagen, Vegan Elastin and Baobab Extract– to name a few– was formulated to be a hydrating and serious anti-aging heavyweight contender. The watery fluid is immediately absorbed by the skin, and it leaves behind no sort of unpleasant residue. It was carefully conceived to hydrate the skin and leave it soft and smooth, and it plumps fine lines and it actually lifts the skin– do not ask me how, but it really plumps and lifts fine lines where other products have failed. This is a magical elixir that is worth its weight in gold, and it pairs perfectly with the other WYLYS products.

Directions: Apply 3-4 drops to cleansed skin and gently pat to absorb. Follow with a moisturizer. Use day and night. Please note, separation can occur due to all natural ingredients. Simply shake before use.

Vegan Collagen: to replenish protein within the skin responsible for elasticity, firmness, and increased blood flow.
Vegan Elastin: to improve skin cell connectivity and fullness for a firmer, bouncy complexion.

WYLYS Double Rose Luminizer Revitalizing Oil Serum (Full review HERE. $188.00 for 1.01 oz. from WYLYS Amazon Store, Nordstrom, Ulta, Bloomingdale's, JOMASHOP and eCosmetics): This is a truly gorgeous mid-weight oil that sumptuously melts into the skin. This ultra-luxe oil, with its stunning light herbal/floral aroma, leaves skin hydrated, soft, smooth and supple. It has an unparalleled silky texture, and it never leaves behind a greasy residue. It effectively softens the appearance of fine lines, leaves skin with a luminous glow, and it is a true joy to use. This is one of the most lovely face oils that I have tried in the last decade, and I simply cannot underscore the extent to which this is a delight to use, and that it delivers tangible and visible results. I am on my second bottle of this delightful oil, and I will use it as long as they make it!

Directions: Cleanse and tone. Apply a small quantity (2-3 drops) of oil to fingertips, and gently massage into your skin.

Organic Rosehip Seed Oil: to provide antioxidants and essential fatty acids that hydrate, lock in moisture, brighten, and protect skin from UV damage.
Organic Rose Flower Oil: to act as a humectant and draw water within the skin, while also tightening and clarifying pores.
Calendula Oil: to hydrate and add suppleness to the skin, while also lessening redness and soothing irritation.
Organic Primrose Oil: to increase elasticity, radiance, and help skin cells retain moisture.
Salicornia Herbacea Extract: to strengthen the skin barrier, increase skin repair and recovery, and provide deep moisture.

WYLYS New Day Glow Brightening Pressed Serum (Full review HERE. $125.00 for oz, from WYLYS Amazon Store, Nordstrom, Ulta, Bloomingdale's and eCosmetics): This is a creamy-dreamy serum that is the final serum layer if you also use lighter weight serums, and what a delight this is to use. This serum feels a bit more like a lightweight cream with the absorption of a serum. It is filled with skin-loving lipids that moisturize and nourish the skin, and it is likewise filled with actives formulated to brighten the skin. My skin feels thoroughly moisturized, brightened, calm and supple whenever I use this gorgeous serum.

WYLYS employs the use of Niacinamide and Vitamin C to give the skin an ethereal healthy glow, and they use a combination of cholesterol, fatty acids and ceramides to nourish the skin and provide skin barrier protection and repair. The addition of bakuchiol– which was selected for its ability to offer the skin gentle renewal without skin irritation– refreshes the skin gently and beautifully. Skin will greatly benefit from their inclusion of Jojoba, Squalane and Sea Buckthorn since this symphony of ingredients nourishes and softens the skin leaving it smooth and supple. For people with sensitive skin that is prone to irritation, you will be delighted that Panthenol was selected to calm and pamper irritable skin.

Directions: After cleansing and toning, warm a small 2-3 pumps between fingers and then apply to face and neck in upward motion. Gently tap and press for full absorption. Follow with cream or moisturizer, as needed.

Active Ingredients & Their Attributes:

Bakuchiol: a gentle retinol alternative that helps to fade fine lines, smooth skin, and stimulate collagen-producing receptors for a firmer, bouncier texture. May also help to improve acne and acne-scarring, especially in sensitive skin.
Niacinamide: a form of vitamin-B3 that helps to fortify the skin barrier, build keratin molecules, regulate oil production, fade hyperpigmentation, and retain moisture so skin appears smoother, firmer, and with less noticeable pores.
Vitamin C: water-soluble yet oil-loving stabilized form of vitamin C. A staple of well-aging routines for its ability to help fade lines and wrinkles, brighten dark spots, balance oil production, improve skin texture and appearance, and help prevent damage from UV rays, especially when used in conjunction with sunscreen.
Squalane: a sustainable plant-based powerhouse ingredient that is effortlessly absorbed into the skin for nourishing, barrier-boosting, redness-reducing benefits.
Ceramide NP: a major component of skin’s outer layers, known to reinforce skin’s barrier strength to better resist external stressors. It also improves hydration, elasticity, and collagen production.
Sea Buckthorn: a vibrant red fruit oil rich in antioxidants, phytosterols, and skin-benefiting fatty acids that moisturizes, reduces redness, and helps with cell regeneration.

WYLYS Nightinol Cream (Full review HERE. $215.00 for oz. from WYLYS Amazon Store, Nordstrom, Ulta and Bloomingdale's): This is a 2% Retinol Complex Overnight Renewing Moisturizer that contains three different types of Vitamin A to gently and effectively encourage skin cell turnover while deeply nourishing and hydrating the skin. It has an ultra-luxe whipped texture that melts into the skin leaving it soft, smooth and supple. It effectively diminishes the appearance of fine lines, fades discoloration from sun damage and overall evens out skin tone. What is even more surprising is the fact that unlike most retinol-based night creams, this one doesn't dry out my skin, or leave it flaky, red and irritated. This cream is quite concentrated, and therefore a little goes a very long way, and that means that this jar won't need to be replaced for quite a while. It has a light and very pleasant aroma that might best be described as a fruity herbal scent, but it isn't in the least bit imposing.

As I always emphatically state in all of my reviews that feature products that fade the appearance of sun damage and discoloration, it is imperative to have your skin evaluated by your physician or your dermatologist before using retinol-based products– to make sure that you are not attempting to treat spots that could be precancerous or cancerous lesions.

It is also a good idea to spot test when you are using a retinol-based product to make sure that your skin doesn't react to it. For me, I had no negative reaction to this retinol, but my skin is actually quite used to retinol since I have used it for years– from over-the-counter cosmetic brands to prescription Tretinoin. Therefore, for me, my skin didn't require an adjustment period when I started using WYLYS Nightinol Cream. This is, by far, the most effective non-prescription retinol that I have tried, and it is ultra-luxe and a serious pleasure to use. In fact, like the rest of the WYLYS products, this night cream is such a delight to use that it encourages you to slow down and really enjoy the ritual associated with excellent quality skincare products.

Directions: As the last step of your nighttime skincare routine, apply evenly and gently tap your face and neck for absorption. May require some time to acclimate to vitamin A’s. Pro Tip: Start using 2-3 nights a week for a couple of weeks to build up tolerance to using every night.

WYLYS Rose Quartz Spatula (Full review HERE. $28.00 from WYLYS Amazon Store, Nordstrom, Ulta and Bloomingdale's): This is such a wonderful way to enhance your skincare routine. Do you need a WYLYS Rose Quartz Spatula? Of course not! Would you enjoy it if you had one? Well, I sure do and I was hesitant to buy it, and thought that I was being a bit frivolous. However, that all changed when I tried it. It isn't just a tool to scoop cream from a jar, it is really so much more than that. It can be used to gently massage and de-puff the under-eye area, it enhances circulation and it helps encourage lymphatic drainage. It is even more soothing and effective when you store it in the refrigerator because the cooling effect helps to de-puff much more efficiently, and it feels amazing. This is such a wonderful treat after a long day at work, or when it is very hot outside and you need a little extra relief in your self-care skincare routine.

Directions: For a cooling effect, keep Spatula in the refrigerator. For a warming effect, heat it up in a glass of warm water for a few minutes. Scoop a desired amount of your favorite product (cleansing balm or moisturizer) and apply to skin. Wipe clean after each use. Use to massage around your eyes, in between the eye brows, right under your lower lips, and more.

Overall Assessment: I am simply over-the-moon about WYLYS products. They are ultra-luxe, and while they are not inexpensive, their products are concentrated and will last a long time, unless you apply them liberally. This cruelty-free brand does not cut corners on the quality of their ingredients, and they do not make unrealistic claims. Instead, their products are carefully conceived, and created for their efficacy, and they boast extraordinary textures and aromas that make using them a true delight. I find the routine calming, and it is so enjoyable that I really slow down and savor the experience. I should also say that it is very rare for me to purchase skincare products that I have tested because I test and review so many products, but every once in a while a range of products is so extraordinary that I purchase them as soon as I use up the products that I was sent, and that is definitely the case with WYLYS skincare products.
