I managed to use up 7 items in July, and I would use all of them again and again. Of the 7 products used, 4 were full-size and 3 were deluxe samples. I really enjoyed using all of them, but that is always the case since I don't tend to continue using products that I don't like or love– life is just too short!

Anua Rice + Ceramide Rice Enzyme Brightening Cleansing Powder ($18.00 for 1.41 oz. from YesStyle and Amazon): This is another winning skincare product from Anua, and it is so easy to use. This high quality K-Beauty brand not only makes exceptional products, but they are actually affordable. This rice bran-infused cleansing powder is activated with water, and once you have a paste of your desired consistency you gently massage it into the skin. It deeply cleans, without stripping the skin, and leaves it clean, hydrated, soft, smooth and luminous. If you need a deeper cleaning, it can be used as a mask to clean congested pores. That it is a powder makes it ideal for travel. Purchase Again? I would definitely use this again, but I have so many facial cleansers to use first.

ANUA Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil Mild (Currently on sale for $17.00 (regularly $19.90) for 6.75 oz. from Anua's Amazon Store): This cleansing oil is ideal for sensitive skin, and it offers a fragrance-free formula that is light in texture, offering less irritation when rolling and emulsifying. 

The Mild version is non-comedogenic and it only contains only 11 ingredients, and ANUA increased the amount of heartleaf extract (20,000ppb) to soothe the skin. The Original formula, which has 22 ingredients, includes half the amount of heartleaf extract (10,000 ppb). Other key ingredients include sunflower seed oil to moisture and hydrate and rosemary leaf oil to control and balance sebum.

This cleansing oil is appropriate for all skin types, including very sensitive skin. It emulsifies when in contact with water, and if effectively removes dirt, makeup and it helps to eliminate blackheads and whiteheads. Purchase Again? I would happily use it again, but I currently have several other cleansing oils that I need to use before I get more!

Chantecaille Pure Rosewater Face Mist ($88.00 for 3.4 oz. and $45.00 for 1.5 oz. from Chantecaille, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue & Bluemercury): This is the most refreshing and uplifting facial mist that I have used. It is formulated with the rare extract of the Rose de Mai, and this antioxidant-rich formula really perks up skin and hydrates it. The rosewater aroma is absolutely gorgeous. Purchase Again? If I can find it on sale, then I will! It's amazing!

Dr. BRID C Moisture Basic Serum ($22.90 for 1.01 oz. from Dr. BRID C and their Amazon Store): This is a wonderful antioxidant-rich serum that offers the skin serious, and sustained, hydration and protection from free-radical damage. It boasts a blend of novel peptides that help boost collagen production, and the result is the appearance of firmer skin and plumped fine lines. Their antioxidant formula, which is infused with Niacinamide, Bisabolol and Citric Acid, helps to brighten the skin and fade hyperpigmentation. The serum is mid-weight, fast absorbing, non-sticky and fragrance-free, and it leaves my skin soft, supple, smooth and incredibly luminous. This K-Beauty brand is Cruelty-Free, effective and affordable. Purchase Again? Absolutely! 

Kérastase Discipline Bain Fluidealiste Sulfate-Free Shampoo ($46.00 for 8.5 oz. from Kérastase, Sephora, Target & Amazon): The sulfate-free formula is absolute perfection for chemically treated hair. It is such a wonderfully emollient shampoo that it makes hair so smooth and soft, and tangle free. I can actually get a comb through my hair after using this shampoo, and before even using a conditioner! It is perfect for frizzy hair, and it has no real lather, and it never strips the hair. It is wonderful for naturally curly hair like mine! Purchase Again? I will happily splurge on this shampoo once I use up a few more bottles of shampoo that are cluttering my shower!

Tory Burch Electric Sky Eau de Parfum ($155.00 for 3oz. from Tory Burch, Bloomingdale's & JOMASHOP): This was a deluxe sample that I received as a gift with purchase from somewhere. I actually didn't think that I would like it, but I popped it in my travel bag and actually used it, and thoroughly enjoyed it. According to Tory Burch, "Electric Sky captures the essence of freedom. Vibrant and rapturous, like the energy after a storm, it is an unexpected mix of refreshing cactus flower, lavender and wood. Saltwater lends a mineral quality to the fragrance, blended with blue sage and a Palo Santo accord for warmth and positivity." I would say that it is a salty floral aroma that feels like summer. Purchase Again? I am swimming in perfumes, and am not looking to purchase more, but I would definitely use this if I had more!

Maison Margiela Paris Replica Bubble Bath Eau de Toilette ($89.00 for 1.05 oz. from Maison Margiela, Amazon, Sephora & JOMASHOP): This is yet another deluxe sample I received as a gift with purchase, and that I also had in my travel bag. I used every single drop and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is described as, "The relaxing memory of a me time moment in the bubbles of a hot scented bath. Sweet memories of relaxing moments enjoying a hot bubble bath....This gentle floral fragrance is a bubble of comfort and freshness. The soothing notes of coconut milk blended with the clean freshness of the soap bubble accord recreate the relaxing feeling of a hot foaming bath....This cocooning sensation is brought by enveloping notes of white musks and delicate floral notes of Rose Superessence." It is a musky floral that is surprisingly easy to wear, and quite fetching. Purchase Again? As noted above, I am swimming in perfumes right now, and I have no plans to purchase more, but I would definitely continue wearing it if I had more left.

Overall Assessment: I really enjoyed using these products, and would happily use them all again, but I have so many open products to use before purchasing more. What did you finish up, toss out, give away or return in July? Did you discover any amazing products or over-hyped duds?

Anua Zero-Cast Moisturizing SPF 50 is an effective chemical sunscreen that not only has a high SPF, but it does not leave the much-dreaded white-cast on the skin. It boasts a wonderfully hydrating formula because of ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, and it feels wonderful on the skin. Made for all types of skin, including sensitive, the non-comedogenic formula isn't greasy or drying, and it is fragrance-free. The tube is small enough to stow in your purse for easy reapplication throughout the day. I started using this sunscreen a year ago, and started using it again after I finished up two other sunscreens. I like it so much that it is now my daily sunscreen, and I really like that it has an SPF 50.

Overall Assessment: This is definitely the time of year to check the expiration dates on your sunscreens and replace the ones that have expired, or are just about to expire. This is a really solid performing sunscreen, and it is definitely worthy of your consideration.

I managed to finish up 9 products in the month of May, and only one was travel size bottle. I should state that all of these products, except for the hand soap, had been open for some time, and all of them were quite well-used before I pulled them to finish them up in the month of May. In an effort not to waste products, I routinely check expiration dates and target products that are more than half empty. Wasting products bothers me a lot, and therefore I really try to avoid tossing things out because they expired and I simply didn't get around to using them before they turn bad.  

ANUA Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil Mild ($20.00 for 6.75 oz. from Ulta, Stylevana, Target, Walmart and Anua's Amazon Store): The Mild version is non-comedogenic and it only contains only 11 ingredients, and ANUA increased the amount of heartleaf extract (20,000ppb) to soothe the skin. This cleansing oil is appropriate for all skin types, including very sensitive skin. It emulsifies when in contact with water, and if effectively removes dirt, makeup and it helps to eliminate blackheads and whiteheads. This is a really effective cleansing oil that really does what it claims, and it is nice that it is formulated to address the needs of sensitive skin. Purchase Again? I just opened a different one of their cleansing oils.

Vitabrid C¹² Wrinkle Cream ($70.00 for 1.69 oz. from Vitabrid and Amazon): This is a mid-weight rich cream that melts into the skin, and the Shea Butter delivers serious moisture. Stabilized Vitamin C helps to even skin tone and lighten hyperpigmentation, and the novel peptides help plump fine lines leaving the skin smoother looking in appearance. This ultra-luxe, and velvety-textured, cream is such a pleasure to use and it makes skin look and feel exquisite. While I do not have wrinkles, I do have some fine expression lines, and this cream has definitely softened their appearance. There is no fragrance, and therefore people who are sensitive to fragrant skincare products will not have any problems with this cream in that regard. Purchase Again? I just opened another jar!

Vichy Normaderm 3-in-1 Micellar Solution ($19.99 for 6.76 oz. from Amazon, Ulta, CVS and Dermstore): Discontinued, but Pureté Thermale 3-in-1 Micellar Water for Sensitive Skin is even more impressive. It actually feels the same to me, and thankfully this gentle micellar water is widely available. It gently removes makeup and dirt and leaves skin soft and clean. Purchase Again? I will continually repurchase the Pureté Thermale 3-in-1 Micellar Water!

René Furterer KARITÉ HYDRA Hydrating Shine Shampoo ($12.00-$64.00 for 1.6 oz, 5 oz. and 20.2 oz from René Furterer, Dermstore and Amazon): I have to preface this by stating that I am thoroughly obsessed with this truly amazing shampoo because it is everything that someone with dry and curly hair, like me, could ever want in a shampoo. It has a satisfying lather, but it never strips the hair, and it rinses clean without leaving behind an oily residue. It has a light, and pleasant aroma, but it isn't long-lasting or cloying. It moisturizes dry hair, without ever weighing it down, and it leaves hair remarkably soft and shiny. It is, in a word, extraordinary! Purchase Again? I just opened another tube!

milk_shake cool brunette shampoo ($28.00 for 10.1 oz, $10.00 for 1.7oz. from milk_shake, Beauty Plus Salon and Amazon): If you have brown hair and need to neutralize red & orange tones to maintain cool brown hair, then this dark blue pigmented shampoo will reduce that unwanted warmth and brassiness. Purchase Again? I would definitely get this again, but I have another brand to finish first.

Saints & Sinners Velvet Divine Daily Conditioner ($38.50 for 8.5 oz from Amazon): First I have to say that the aroma of this conditioner is delectable, and if I had to describe it I would say that the jasmine and tuberose are the most legible of the scents.  The aroma does linger for a while before fading altogether. This mid-weight conditioner is very emollient and moisturizing without weighing hair down or leaving behind a greasy film. It effectively fights frizz and fly-aways, moisturizes dry hair and leaves it shiny and manageable. It is a wonderfully effective conditioner for my color treated naturally curly hair. Purchase Again? I would love to use this again, but I have many bottles of conditioner to use first.

Trader Joe's Bergamot & Vetiver Scented Hand Soap, ($3.99 for 12 oz. from Trader Joe's):  What an absolute delight this is. In fact, I went back to buy 3 more bottles. This beautiful citrusy floral scent is such a treat to the senses, and rather than drying out my hands, they are left lightly moisturized. The last time that I went to the same Trader Joe's they didn't have any left, but I plan to try again to get a few more bottles before they are gone altogether. I hope that there is enough demand for this lovely liquid hand soap that Trader Joe's considers making it part of their regular collection of hand soaps! A+ Purchase Again? In a heartbeat! I check to see if there are any bottles left every single time that I go to TJ's, and I think that they are gone for good.

Goldfaden MD Body Surge Hydrating & Restoring Body Moisturizer ($65.00 for 5 oz. from Goldfaden MD Amazon Store, IPSY and eCosmetics): This ultra-luxe, creamy moisturizer is mid-weight, and yet it melts into the skin immediately. It leaves skin deeply moisturized, soft, supple and luminous without a greasy residue. Skin looks restored and dry and parched skin is healed and hydrated. It has a light and refreshing citrus aroma, but it is neither imposing, nor long-lasting. Furthermore, it is cruelty-free, silicone-free, gluten-free, mineral oil-free, paraben-free and alcohol-free. Purchase Again? I have lots of open bottles and tubes of body lotions and creams that I need to use first, but I would very happily use this ultra-luxe moisturizer again!

Overall Assessment: This wonderful, and affordable, serum duo helps reduce acne, redness (rosacea) and hyperpigmentation. Make sure to use, and reapply, a high SPF sunscreen to keep skin protected. When treating hyperpigmentation skin is vulnerable to the effects of the sun, and therefore it is very important to be diligent about the use of sunscreen.

Anua Zero-Cast Moisturizing SPF 50 is an effective chemical sunscreen that not only has a high SPF, but it does not leave the much-dreaded white-cast on the skin. It boasts a wonderfully hydrating formula because of ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, and it feels wonderful on the skin. Made for all types of skin, including sensitive, the non-comedogenic formula isn't greasy or drying, and it is fragrance-free. The tube is small enough to stow in your purse for easy reapplication throughout the day.

Overall Assessment: This is the time of year to check the expiration dates on your sunscreens and replace the old ones. This is a really solid performing sunscreen, and it is definitely worthy of your consideration.

ANUA PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a deeply hydrating serum that is formulated to give skin sustained hydration, to plump fine lines and to help maintain the skin's moisture barrier. It offers skin a dewy luminosity, but it is lightweight, fast-absorbing and it leaves behind no oily or sticky residue. It has a very watery texture, and is quite concentrated. Therefore, I recommend a less-is-more approach, and add more as needed. It works quite well on my normal/combination skin, and I think that most skin types would benefit from the hydration this serum imparts. Additionally, it has no aroma whatsoever, and fragrance is not listed among its ingredients.

When used during the day, be sure to use with SPF 30 or higher.

Overall Assessment: I am a fan of ANUA skincare products, and this Korean beauty brand is affordable and effective.
