Dr. Althea Aqua Glowing Sunscreen is the second sunscreen (the first is reviewed HERE) that I have used from Dr. Althea, a notable K-Beauty brand, and I really like it a lot. It is a very lightweight and non-sticky chemical sunscreen, with an SPF 50+, that is hydrating and sinks into the skin without leaving behind any sort of white filmy residue. It actually feels more like a serum than a sunscreen, and it offers excellent protection from the sun. Of course, one has to reapply it frequently to benefit from it, but it is so pleasant to use that it isn't an issue having to reapply it.

Additionally, this sunscreen is formulated with "bamboo water, sea grape extract and vegan seaweed-derived PDRN to hydrate skin and accelerate skin barrier repair. Also enriched with panthenol to soothe irritated skin." Suitable for all skin types including sensitive and dry skin.

Dr. Althea Green Tea Fresh Sunscreen is made by a wonderful K-Beauty skincare brand, and this SPF50+ PA++++ broad-spectrum chemical sunscreen is lightweight and it leaves behind no white cast, whatsoever.  Formulated with green tea leaf water, and seven different types of centella extract to, "reduce redness and leave skin feeling refreshed. Sodium DNA in the mix enhances skin barrier repair. Suitable for all skin types including sensitive and oily skin." It has no scent, and it feels very comfortable on the skin. I have also noted that it serves as a very nice base for my foundation or tinted moisturizer, functioning much like a primer.

It boasts a wonderfully hydrating formula because of ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, and it feels wonderful on the skin. Made for all types of skin, including sensitive, the non-comedogenic formula isn't greasy or drying, and it is fragrance-free. The tube is small enough to stow in your purse for easy reapplication throughout the day.

Overall Assessment: This is the time of year to check the expiration dates on your sunscreens and replace the old ones. This is a really solid performing sunscreen, and it is definitely worthy of your consideration.

dearcloud UV Block Hydrogen Sun Patches are the perfect way to really offer the delicate area underneath the eyes protection against the harmful rays of the sun. While I wouldn't hang out in public wearing sunscreen eye patches, they are really excellent when I am in my yard and need extra protection. The skin under the eyes is so delicate and prone to damage from excessive sun exposure, and these patches really work well. They are easy to apply and can be worn over makeup or on bare skin, and they can be worn for up to 5 hours. My eye area is a bit sensitive, and these did not cause me any irritation or sensitivity. They can only be used a single time.

As previously noted, I am quite enchanted by dearcloud products, and I am happy to be trying more of their skincare products. My most recent discovery is the dearcloud sunny defense SPF 50+, and I am pleased to report that I really like it.

dearcloud sunny defense SPF 50+ is a broad-spectrum sunscreen that comes in a convenient twist up stick. It is emollient, hydrating, and can be applied to the face, neck, décolleté, ears and body. It spreads easily, and it leaves no greasy film or white cast. It is so easy to apply and reapply, and it readily stows away in a pocket, bag or purse. It has no detectable aroma and doesn't irritate my sometimes finicky skin. If you only use mineral/physical sunscreens, then be advised that this is a chemical sunscreen, but if you use both types, then this is definitely worth trying.

HH Science Sport Defense SPF 40 Sunscreen

HH Science Sport Defense SPF 40 Sunscreen is a broad spectrum sunscreen that combines physical (mineral) and chemical sunscreens in this water resistant formula. I like to slather it on before taking a vigorous walk, and it dries down quickly without leaving a greasy or white residue. It is moisturizing, rather than drying, and it is comfortable on the skin. It stays put when I am exercising, and it has no detectable scent. It is thick, but it melts into the skin beautifully. This is a really lovely sunscreen.

Protect skin against damaging UVA/UVB rays this antioxidant rich sunscreen. Formulated with a blend of Vitamins A, C and E and green tea to combat free-radical damage and promote healthy, youthful-looking skin.

Healthy + Happy Essentials Hydrating Facial Lotion + Sunscreen SPF 30 is a thick and emollient hydrating mineral sunscreen that nourishes the skin. It is fragrance-free, with no scent whatsoever, and it is cruelty-free. Unlike many mineral sunscreens, this one does not leave behind an unflattering white film that won't disappear. Instead, it reveals the true color of one's skin, and it plays well with makeup. In fact, I have found that it serves as a primer, and therefore extends the wear of my foundations and tinted moisturizers. As with any sunscreen, its efficacy can only be measured when it is used correctly, therefore reapplication is the key to it working properly and in keeping the skin protected from the sun. The only thing that I would do to make this sunscreen more perfect for my needs would be to increase the SPF higher than 30.

Overall Assessment: I really like this formula a lot, and it offers wonderful added hydration to my face, neck and décolleté while protecting my skin.
