HH Science Green Tea Cleanser Review

I have used quite a few products from HH Science, and I am consistently impressed by the quality of their skincare. I have been using the HH Science Green Tea Cleanser, and think that it is an excellent choice to gently and effectively exfoliate dead skin cells. It is formulated for all types of skin, including sensitive skin, and it cleanses and exfoliates without drying and irritating the skin. It contains no harsh exfoliating particles, but this lactic and fruit acid-infused cleanser removes dead skin cells without scratching and irritating the skin. The clear gel forms a very satisfying lather, and it rinses clean without stripping the skin. The Aloe Vera juice, its first ingredient, effectively hydrates the skin, and prevents it from becoming dry and irritated. HH Science states to avoid direct contact with the eyes and mouth, and that is important since the lactic and fruit acids should not be used in those areas. I only use this cleanser once or twice a week for my normal/combination skin because I do not require more exfoliation than that provides.

Directions: Apply a moderate amount of cleanser morning and evening to wet skin on the face and neck and massage gently, avoiding direct contact with mouth and eyes. Rinse the face clean with lukewarm water and towel dry.

CAUTION: For external use only. Do not ingest. Avoid direct contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

Ingredients: Aloe Vera Juice, Cocamidopropyl Betaine (from Coconut), Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate Honeyquat, Lactic Acid, Soy Milk Powder, Green Tea Extract, Honey, Ethylhexyglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Tetra Sodium, and Dead Sea Salt.

Overall Assessment: This is a very nice, and gentle, exfoliating cleanser.

HH Science Sport Defense SPF 40 Sunscreen

HH Science Sport Defense SPF 40 Sunscreen is a broad spectrum sunscreen that combines physical (mineral) and chemical sunscreens in this water resistant formula. I like to slather it on before taking a vigorous walk, and it dries down quickly without leaving a greasy or white residue. It is moisturizing, rather than drying, and it is comfortable on the skin. It stays put when I am exercising, and it has no detectable scent. It is thick, but it melts into the skin beautifully. This is a really lovely sunscreen.

Protect skin against damaging UVA/UVB rays this antioxidant rich sunscreen. Formulated with a blend of Vitamins A, C and E and green tea to combat free-radical damage and promote healthy, youthful-looking skin.

HH Science Hydrating Sheer Mineral SPF 50 is my favorite kind of sunscreen. It is a mineral sunscreen that is lightweight, moisturizing and nourishing, and it leaves behind no white residue. It sinks into the skin immediately, without being greasy or drying, and it serves as a wonderful base for my makeup. I love that it has an SPF 50, and it feels so good on the skin that I don't even procrastinate when it comes to reapplication.

HH Science Lip Stay Matte Liquid Lipsticks in Nude and Pure Pout

HH Science Lip Stay Matte Liquid Lipstick is a lightweight and highly pigmented matte liquid lipstick formula that is comfortable to wear, and that I don't find drying on my lips. If you prefer glossy finishes, then this finish isn't for you, but I you love a good matte lipstick, then this is definitely worthy of your consideration. These lipsticks glide across the lips effortlessly, deposit color effortlessly, and they do not bleed or migrate. 

Nude is a warm peachy beige and Pure Pout is a warm peachy coral shade, and they are beautiful alone, or blended together. If you like the longevity of matte lipsticks, but want a bit of shine, then you can treat these as lip stains and top them with your favorite gloss. If you have dry lips, you can prep them with a lip balm and then use the liquid lipstick.

HH Science Gel Eyeiner Pencil in Sienna Review and Swatches

Available in 5 beautiful colors, HH Science Gel Eyeliners offer long-wearing and smear-proof wear. The gel formula deposits color effortlessly, applies ultra-smoothly and there is no tugging of the delicate skin around the eyes. Once this eyeliner sets, it is absolutely budge proof on me until I remove it. I do not have oily eyelids, and therefore your wear may vary, but I am quite impressed by its longevity. Sienna is a stunning rich brown that is very flattering, and it is a perfect shade of brown for my hazel eyes.

Directions: Glide along base of upper and lower lashes. Close cap tightly after application. Sharpen as needed.

HH Science Effortless Perfect Cover Plus Concealer Review

I have been using HH Science skincare, and I really love the high quality of their products. What I had not tried until very recently is their makeup, and I am so please to share some of these products with you. The first product that I tried was the HH Science Effortless Perfect Cover Plus, which is a hydrating concealer that can also be used to contour. It has a creamy and emollient consistency, but it is very lightweight. It glides across the skin effortlessly, deposits pigment perfectly and it doesn't highlight pores. It offers highly pigmented coverage, but with a light hand it offers minimal coverage. The twist up applicator requires no sharpening, and it can be applied directly to the skin, or you can use a brush for more precise application. It also blends to perfection.

It is available in a limited range of shades: Fair, Beige and Medium Deep, and therefore people with lighter and darker complexions won't find a shade that works for them. The formula is so great that I really hope that they expand their range of colors.

Overall Assessment: I really like this as a concealer, but Beige is a little dark for my complexion and think that a mixture of Beige and Fair would be a better match for me– especially under my eyes, but the formula is excellent.

HH Science Needle Free Serum Review

HH Science Needle Free Serum is formulated to soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by plumping and softening them. I cannot compare its efficacy to that of fillers– because I have never sought out fillers– but I can say that this serum does temporarily plump the skin and therefore decreases the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Hyaluronic Acid plumps fine lines and offers serious hydration, and HH Science asserts that regular use improves/reactivates collagen and elastin synthesis. Niacimide is known to help reduce inflammation and the appearance of hyperpigmentation, as well as improving the overall texture of the skin, and therefore it works quite well in conjunction with Hyaluronic Acid. 

This clear serum has a watery consistency, it has no aroma, and it melts into the skin immediately. While I do not have deep wrinkles, I do I have some expression lines, and I definitely note a softening and plumping effect in those areas after using this serum for about 1 1/2 weeks. I apply it to my face and neck once a day, and as directed I avoid the eye area. My skin is left plumped, hydrated and luminous.

As noted, I can't compare its efficacy to that of fillers since I have never tried fillers, but I like the way my skin looks and feels after using this serum, and I assure you that I will use this bottle down to the last drop.

HH Science Clinical Strength + Clean Brightening Serum + SPF 50 Drops is my latest obsession with this fantastic cruelty-free brand, and as a person who wears sunscreen all of the time, this one, in particular, resonates with me. I prefer lightweight mineral sunscreens with a high SPF, and this one really delivers. It is a lightweight antioxidant-rich serum that boasts an SPF 50. It melts into the skin, leaves behind no white residue, it leaves skin luminous and it works well with makeup. While it is an effective sunscreen, that is only true if you reapply it as recommended. Johns Hopkins Medicine suggests every two hours, but I often reapply it more frequently when I am outdoors for a good part of the day.
