I have been using HH Science skincare, and I really love the high quality of their products. What I had not tried until very recently is their makeup, and I am so please to share some of these products with you. The first product that I tried was the HH Science Effortless Perfect Cover Plus, which is a hydrating concealer that can also be used to contour. It has a creamy and emollient consistency, but it is very lightweight. It glides across the skin effortlessly, deposits pigment perfectly and it doesn't highlight pores. It offers highly pigmented coverage, but with a light hand it offers minimal coverage. The twist up applicator requires no sharpening, and it can be applied directly to the skin, or you can use a brush for more precise application. It also blends to perfection.
It is available in a limited range of shades: Fair, Beige and Medium Deep, and therefore people with lighter and darker complexions won't find a shade that works for them. The formula is so great that I really hope that they expand their range of colors.

Overall Assessment: I really like this as a concealer, but Beige is a little dark for my complexion and think that a mixture of Beige and Fair would be a better match for me– especially under my eyes, but the formula is excellent.

I took the quiz and it determined that my best shade for the Liquid Cover Up is V1 (Fair to Light) and the Lotus Brightening Powder in 100 Volts (Fair to Light), and as soon as I opened them I agreed with the quiz results. I do not have dark circles all of the time, but I definitely get them when I don't get enough sleep and when I spend too many hours a day staring at a computer screen. I either use Liquid Cover Up by itself, but sometimes I set it with Lotus Brightening Powder, and the combination of the two is miraculous! They last all day long, they never cake or settle into fine lines, and they do not dry out the delicate eye area.
Vasanti Cosmetics Liquid Cover Up Foundation & Concealer in 1 ($27.00 for .54 oz from Vasanti Cosmetics and their Amazon Store): The color that was selected for me from the quiz results was Color: V1 - Fair to Light. This lightweight and creamy concealer offers buildable coverage and it feels wonderful on the skin. It covers dark circles without looking unnatural and its refined finish looks like your skin rather than a heavy concealer. It can also be used on hyperpigmentation, blemishes and anything else that you want to cover.

Most notable is the fact that it simultaneously blurs and brightens while feeling light on the skin. It neither dries out the delicate skin, nor does it cake and settle into fine lines. N.B.: Currently Vasanti is offering an Oh Sponge gift with your purchase of Lotus Brightening Powder (shown below).

Overall Assessment: Vasanti Liquid Cover Up is the nicest concealer that I have used in many years, and it is quickly becoming a Holy Grail product for my daily use. I don't always feel the need to set it with the Lotus Brightening Powder, but I love the results when I do. These are A+ products from a wonderful cruelty-free brand.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer is magic, as the name suggests. They were continually sold out of my desired shade, Fair 2, which is the perfect light shade with pink undertones, but when it was back in stock I quickly purchased it.
The formula is lightweight, non-creasing and it adds just a touch of luminescence to optically blur imperfections, dark circles or blemishes without being glittery. It has a nice large spongy applicator tip, and a twist dispenser, but you want to be sure not to over twist otherwise you will waste a lot of product. I apply it right after my eye cream has absorbed, and only need a little to brighten under my eye area. On those days when I get little sleep, and awaken to unsightly dark circles, this concealer does an enviable job concealing them and in giving my eyes a radiant glow. It neither settles into fine lines, nor does it become cakey. Furthermore, it does not dry out the delicate skin under my eyes, and it lasts all day on me. It offers buildable coverage, if you desire added opacity to conceal blemishes or imperfections, and it blends out perfectly.

That RIMMEL LONDON has a fantastic array of products is undeniable, and their combination of high quality and affordability makes purchasing their makeup guilt-free. I thought that I would select a few of my current favorites to transition into the fall.
RIMMEL LONDON Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colour in Moca 720 and Blush 110 ($5.49 for 0.21 oz. from Ulta, Target and Walmart): Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colour features a velvety smooth texture, opaque highly saturated hues and extraordinary staying power. They glide across the lips effortlessly, deposit color evenly and they neither bleed, nor feather. They have a lightweight velvety texture when applied, but once they set, they are budge and transfer-proof, and last all day. I don't find them drying, but if you have particularly dry lips, you might want to apply a light lip balm before application. These liquid matte lipstick formula has a distinct fragrance, but it does fade rather quickly. The two colors that I have are: Moca 720 is a neutral peachy nude. The doe-foot applicator applies the gloss evenly, and it neither migrates, nor does it bleed into lip lines. I get a couple of hours of wear-time per application, and repeated application throughout the day does not result in drying out my lips. It has a light semi-floral scent that is not too heavily perfumed, and the scent fades soon upon application. Modern Pink is a mid-tone sheer-leaning color that provides lips with a beautiful wash of color. According to Rimmel London, Rimmel London's Oh My Gloss! Oil Tint is packed with a harmonious blend of four precious oils, for unprecedented nourishing care and comfort with an ultra-glossy finish. It is smooth and emollient, lightly moisturizing, and while matte there is a very light sheen to the finish. It glides across the lips effortlessly, deposits color evenly and it does not migrate. It has a light floral fragrance, but it fades soon upon application. Call the Shots is a richly saturated pink-kissed mid-tone red. According to Rimmel London, Give your lips a dazzling look with Rimmel The Only One Lipstick. This vibrant shade features gorgeous color that moisturizes with every application. The long lasting lipstick features deep pigments that burst with color, infused with hydrating moisturizers that leave lips soft and supple.
RIMMEL LONDON Moisture Renew Lipstick in Back to Fuchsia 310 ($5.47- $8.51 from Ulta, Walgreens, Amazon, Walmart and Target): This is a very creamy and emollient lipstick that is lightweight, moisturizing and comfortable on the lips. It has a beautiful dimensional sheen and a silky smooth consistency, however its emollience lends itself to less longevity, and it does transfer. I get a couple of hours of wear-time before needing to reapply, and the light floral fragrance fades quickly. Back to Fuchsia is a richly saturated bright fuchsia with a lovely sheen. RIMMEL LONDON ScandalEyes Eyeliner Kohl Kajal ($3.99 from Target, Amazon, Walgreens and Walmart): I have always been a fan of eyeliner pencils, and sometimes it is the only makeup that I will wear. I love their fuss-free application, and that they facilitate framing and accenting eyes effortlessly and quickly. My eyes can be sensitive, and therefore I often find serious waterproof formulas too harsh, but that is not the case with this formula. ScandalEyes Eyeliner Kohl liners are creamy, they glide across the delicate skin effortlessly, deposit color evenly, and they do not tug or pull. I will note, however, that there is some variance in these four colors: Deep Blue 006 and Brown 003 are more emollient than Taupe 004 and Light Blue 008, but even the slightly drier consistency of the lighter shades does not result in tugging or pulling the skin. Once these liners set they do not budge, transfer or smear on me, but if you have very oily eyelids you may, or may not, need a primer. Under makeup it functions as a moisturizing primer that extends the wear of foundation, or it can be used in lieu of foundation. The formula is lightweight and comfortable on the skin, and the finish is very flattering. It does have a light fragrance, but it does fade quickly.

I am quite impressed by the quality and efficacy of Advanced Mineral Makeup, and after having reviewed one of their lip glosses, lip liners and blushes (reviewed HERE), I was very excited to try their foundation and concealer.
Annie Mayo, a Film and TV makeup artist, who created Advanced Mineral Makeup in 2009, sought to create healthy high definition makeup that would flawlessly create "close up" camera ready coverage. Her products are cruelty-free, many are vegan and free of harmful chemicals and toxins.
Advanced Mineral Makeup Liquid Mineral Foundation ($45.00 for 1 oz. fromAdvanced Mineral Makeup and Amazon): Available in 7 shades, I selected Crème Brûlée since it seemed to be the closest match to my skin tone. While it is decidedly warmer than my skin in the swatch below, I note that it is a good match once blended into the skin. The formula is lightweight, it offers buildable coverage while looking natural, and it neither settles into pores, nor does it settle into fine lines. It has a creamy consistency, a natural finish that is neither matte, nor too dewy, and it boasts serious longevity. Furthermore, there is no detectable fragrance and the color stays true all day without oxidizing.

Furthermore, this concealer is lightly hydrating without being too emollient, and it has wonderful light reflective properties that gives the skin a slightly luminescent quality.
