TIRTIR Matcha Pack Cleanser Review

I have been using TIRTIR skincare for a while, and have been quite impressed by their efficacy, innovation and affordability, and I am always excited to try their products. I recently began testing their Matcha Collection, and am quite impressed by the TIRTIR Matcha Pack Cleanser. They have a novel approach to using this cleanser in that you apply it to dry skin, leave it on for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then wet the skin and massage it into a lovely lather, and rinse thoroughly. The idea is that the Matcha exfoliants and exfoliating acids first loosen up dead skin cells and sebum, and then you lather, wash and rinse afterward. It works tremendously well, and the formula isn't in the least bit stripping or drying for me. I find that it effectively, and gently, exfoliated dead skin cells, loosens up sebum and pore congestion and leaves my skin soft, incredibly smooth and luminous. It is gentle on my often finicky and sensitive skin, and it has no discernible fragrance. It is, in my estimation, a very lovely cleanser and it works perfectly for my normal/combination skin.

Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel is an exfoliating Glycolic and Salicylic Acids gel cleanser that effectively removes dead skin cells, cleans the skin, dissolves makeup and leaves skin deeply cleansed, soft, smooth and radiant without stripping or drying out the skin. I have used this cleanser for more than 2 years, and I absolutely love it. This cleanser forms a satisfying lather and it has a light citrus aroma that is neither long-lasting, nor overpowering. For my normal to combination skin, I can use this cleanser once a day and it doesn't dry out my skin or leave it uncomfortable in any way. It is formulated for all types of skin, but people with dryer skin types will want to use it less frequently than people with oilier skin. Your usage will depend upon your skin type, and your need for exfoliation.

Overall Assessment: This is a very effective exfoliating cleanser, and it is gentle on my finicky skin. It leaves it unbelievably soft, smooth and radiant. I will use this cleanser, as long as they make it!

HH Science Green Tea Cleanser Review

I have used quite a few products from HH Science, and I am consistently impressed by the quality of their skincare. I have been using the HH Science Green Tea Cleanser, and think that it is an excellent choice to gently and effectively exfoliate dead skin cells. It is formulated for all types of skin, including sensitive skin, and it cleanses and exfoliates without drying and irritating the skin. It contains no harsh exfoliating particles, but this lactic and fruit acid-infused cleanser removes dead skin cells without scratching and irritating the skin. The clear gel forms a very satisfying lather, and it rinses clean without stripping the skin. The Aloe Vera juice, its first ingredient, effectively hydrates the skin, and prevents it from becoming dry and irritated. HH Science states to avoid direct contact with the eyes and mouth, and that is important since the lactic and fruit acids should not be used in those areas. I only use this cleanser once or twice a week for my normal/combination skin because I do not require more exfoliation than that provides.

Cleanse, exfoliate, calm, and soothe even the most sensitive skin with this gentle, soap-free cleanser. Infused with green tea, natural honey lactic acid, aloe, and natural fruit acids. May help clear acne, redness, discoloration, dullness and dryness while leaving your skin exfoliated and clean.

This cleanser has a gentle bubbling effect that thoroughly cleanses the skin without ever stripping it or leaving it dry. Formulated for all type of skin, it leaves skin clean, soft, smooth and hydrated. However, it doesn't leave behind any sort of residue. It is gentle enough to use in the morning and evening each day.

Curél Foaming Facial Wash Review

Curél Foaming Facial Wash is my latest great discovery from this affordable and effective Japanese skincare brand. I was particularly interested to see whether this foaming and moisturizing cleanser, which is made for dry and sensitive skin, would be a good match for my normal/combination skin. I am a fan of hydrating cleansers that are gentle enough for sensitive skin, but I like them to rinse clean without leaving behind any sort of residue that requires a second cleanse (when they would be used last in a double cleansing routine).

This cleanser exceeded my expectations. It has a wonderful and dense foam that thoroughly cleans the skin without stripping it in the least bit, and it rinses clean without any sort of residue. It is fragrance-free (and unscented) and it leaves my skin silky-smooth and hydrated without feeling as though I need to wash my skin again to feel clean. It is gentle, a pleasure to use, and it feels like a great match for my normal/combination skin.

Overall Assessment: Ethique makes ethically produced products that are sustainable, cruelty-free, effective and a pleasure to use. This trio features two wonderful soap-free facial cleansers and a facial scrub that are well worth trying.

Banish All Clear Mint Cleanser, which is a gentle lathering cleanser, is formulated for oily, combination, normal and dry skin types. I was initially a bit concerned that this cleanser was going to be too minty for me, and that this could be a problem for my sensitive eyes, but I am pleased to say that was not the case. In fact, the aroma is informed by a mixture of the ingredients, and the result is a lightly herbal scent. The lather is satisfying, but it's neither drying, nor stripping in the least bit. Furthermore, it thoroughly cleans the skin without leaving an oily residue. Each time that I use it, my normal/combination skin is left clean, soft and lightly hydrated.

A refreshing cleanser that's great for the skin barrier! Made with a combination of ingredients in an aloe base that have anti inflammatory, cleansing, and anti bacterial properties.

The All Clear Mint Cleanser is a gel cleanser that contains ingredients like chamomile leaf extract proven to reduce inflammation and redness, and vitamin B5 to prevent dry skin.

Formulated to be gentle on the skin, but tough on impurities! This foaming cleanser rinses completely clean and leaves no residue without being drying. Contains soothing and healing ingredients like aloe vera juice, and cucumber peel extract. Perfect as a daily cleanser, or as a second cleanse!

This Vegan and Cruelty-Free cleanser is made without: parabens, sulfates, dyes, artificial colors, Mineral Oil and silicones.

Directions: Apply a dime size amount of cleanser to damp face and massage for 30-60 seconds. Rinse off with water. Use daily, twice a day. Can be used twice to remove makeup in the first cleanse.
