Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion Normal to Dry Skin is a fragrance-free dermatologist developed lotion that is fuss-free and effective. This lotion is lightweight, fast-absorbing and entirely grease-free. It is very long lasting, and I have no need to reapply it throughout the day. I apply it in the morning after my shower, and my skin requires no reapplication throughout the day. The only place I reapply it is to my hands since I wash them frequently.

Weleda Sheer Hydration Daily Dew Lotion is a wonderful lightweight and fast absorbing lotion that keeps my skin beautifully hydrated all day long. It is perfect for the warmer weather, and leaves skin with a lovely glow, but if you have very dry skin it may not offer you enough moisture. It has a very faint aroma informed by its ingredients, and it isn't in the least bit long-lasting. It contains no SPF, and therefore you will want to use a separate sunscreen. It is vegan and cruelty-free.

Overall Assessment: This is such a nice lotion for the season, and a perfect pick for my fairly well balanced skin (though I do have combination skin in my T-zone).
Cure Natural Aqua Gel($38.00 for 8.82 oz. from Amazon): This exfoliator has the distinction of being the #1 exfoliator in Japan, and with the bragging rights that they sell one bottle of this cult favorite every 4.5 seconds! After washing you face, you simply pump the gel, which is a little thin and a touch watery, onto damp or dry skin and leave it on for a few moments, and then you gently massage it with your fingertips in a circular motion. I tend to massage it for about a minute, and then the gel transforms into a rather milky gel as it causes dead skin cells to pill on the skin (see the picture below– which reflects the first few seconds of massaging the gel into my skin). The next step is to simply rinse the gel and dead skin cells off of your face, and you will be delighted by the extent to which your skin is left soft, smooth, supple and luminous. I have also used it on my hands and feet, and am thrilled by the results. Furthermore, it is fragrance-free, free of harmful chemicals and so satisfying to use!

It has a light aroma that is neither cloying, nor unpleasant, and it cleans my hair without any stripping. I can't say that I am aware of it penetrating my strands or deeply nourishing my hair, but it definitely leaves it smoother and more manageable.

I have been using products from JĀSÖN for many years, but recently started using their Smoothing Coconut Collection, and m thoroughly obsessed with each of the products that I have tried. Given that the holidays often include plenty of unanticipated overnight guests, it is nice to have extra tubes of toothpaste and toothbrushes on hand. One of my favorite drugstore brands of toothpaste is Colgate, and I always have a few tubes in rotation at any given moment. Overall Assessment: You really can't go wrong with any of these products if you are seeking some affordable finds to stock your guest bathroom this holiday season. Having both been an unanticipated overnight goes, and having hosted unanticipated overnight guests, I have to say that there is something very special about making sure that guests have what they need for a very comfortable and memorable stay.
