Becky, who founded T is for Tame, struggled to find a natural solution for her children's unruly hair, and decided to create those products. Her whole range of products makes hair manageable during humidity, days spent at the pool, and while traveling. Her products offer a practical solution for dealing with tangles, frizz, fly-aways and sensitive scalps during the summer months.

While this range of products was created for babies and toddlers, I must emphatically state, as a person with naturally curly hair, that T is for Tame products are miraculous on my hair. Therefore, I think that these products are perfect for anyone who has hair that is prone to frizz, fly-aways, tangling and that is clearly impacted by humid weather.

T is for Tame Taming Cream is formulated to fight frizz, bedhead and static. While it does these things beautifully, it is also a wonderful styling cream for my naturally curly hair. This cruelty-free taming cream has the same wonderful vanilla aroma as their other haircare products, and it is hydrating and emollient. It smooths and pampers hair, leaving hair shiny and manageable– while fighting frizz. It is not in the least bit greasy or sticky, and it doesn't dry and flake. I have been reaching for this more than my other styling products, and that is saying something.

Surface Bassu Moisture Bond Leave-In Treatment is, yet another, product from Surface that works wonders on my naturally curly hair. Formulated to smooth, pamper, hydrate, offer hair protection, manageability and a luminous shine, this cream to oil leave-in hair treatment is perfect if you have naturally curly hair, over-processed hair, dry hair or hair that just needs a little extra TLC. It has an emollient texture, but it isn't greasy or sticky, and it has a delectable fruity aroma, but the scent is neither overpowering, nor long-lasting. It is highly concentrated, therefore I suggested starting out with a tiny amount, and adding more if needed. Since my hair is curly and color-treated, I always use a leave-in to keep my hair healthy and manageable, and this product is perfectly addresses the needs of my hair.

Novex My Curls My Style Leave-In Conditioner is, as the name suggests, a leave-in conditioner for curly hair. This leave-in conditioner can be used on damp or dry hair, and it makes hair soft, smooth, manageable and frizz-free. It does have an aroma that lingers for quite a while, and while it isn't too strong, it might be bother people who prefer unscented products for their hair. This is a real affordable treat for my naturally curly hair, and fans of this Brazilian haircare brand simply cannot go wrong.

This blend of natural coconut oil, macadamia nut oil, extra virgin olive oil and argan oil work to moisturize your waves and curls giving them the light, bouncy finish they need to look their best. Trust this natural leave in for all of your hydration needs. Apply to freshly cleaned and conditioned curl and style as usual.

This product works well to protect hair from heat if you are diffusing your curl or blowing them dry. If you use an iron to finish your style this product will protect your hair from the heat. If you braid, wrap or twist set your hair this product provides the viscosity and slip to protect your hair.

Give your curls the shine and touchable feeling you want in your hair. This formula closes the hair shaft and allows curls to be shiny and protected from outside humidity that can cause frizz.

Novex is an affordable Brazilian haircare brand that makes a lot of highly popular haircare products, and their collection for curly hair is especially effective for my hair.

Novex My Curls My Style Deep Conditioning Hair Mask is a deeply moisturizing mask that leaves hair conditioned, frizz-free and manageable. It rinses clean, and therefore without leaving behind an unpleasant residue, but it does have a rather strong aroma, but it does dissipate rather quickly. It really works wonders on my naturally curly hair, and it is so affordable.

Surface Blowout Primer Review

Surface Blowout Primer is a spray hair primer that smoothes, detangles, moisturizes and gives hair thermal protection from heat styling tools. I also find that it works beautifully when I want to make my hair more manageable and tame frizz and fly-aways when I air dry my naturally curly hair. It has a light fruity aroma, but it is neither assertive, nor long-lasting. Furthermore, it does not dry and flake, or leave my hair greasy.

Lightweight memory spray primes and protects hair for heat styling. Maracuja and Lychee Oil give hair a voluminous sugar punch and lasting style memory.

Directions: Spray on clean, damp hair. Comb through. Style with heat tools as desired.

It's also nice to know that it offers heat protection so that I can use my hair dryer without the concern of drying out and damaging my hair.

This hair oil works wonders in its ability to smooth out my hair and fight frizz and fly-aways. My hair is left manageable, hydrated and detangled. I use it on dry or damp hair and I really like the results a lot. Given that I have naturally curly hair, detangling and fighting frizz is always an issue, and this hair oil does a wonderful job addressing those issues. It has a wonderful coconut aroma, but it isn't long-lasting. Please note that this product contains silicone-based ingredients, and therefore if you avoid silicone in hair products you will want to skip this one.

Naturally curly hair requires a lot of tending to, and as a result a good hydrating styling aid that moisturizes the hair and fights frizz is a must-have, for me at least. This product does just that! It adds vital moisture, makes my hair manageable and it fights frizz and fly-aways. It also has a delectable tropical citrus aroma that is so pleasant, but it does not linger all day long (though I wish that it did!).
