Novex My Curls My Style Leave-In Conditioner is, as the name suggests, a leave-in conditioner for curly hair. This leave-in conditioner can be used on damp or dry hair, and it makes hair soft, smooth, manageable and frizz-free. It does have an aroma that lingers for quite a while, and while it isn't too strong, it might be bother people who prefer unscented products for their hair. This is a real affordable treat for my naturally curly hair, and fans of this Brazilian haircare brand simply cannot go wrong.

Naturally curly hair requires a lot of tending to, and as a result a good hydrating styling aid that moisturizes the hair and fights frizz is a must-have, for me at least. Mielle Pomegranate & Honey Air Dry Styling Lotion is a wonderful curly hair treat that allows you to air dry your hair while it detangles and defines curls while offering a perfect amount of moisture. It neither weighs down the hair, nor leaves it greasy. While it is intended for type 4 hair, which is curlier than mine, I use it sparingly and it leaves my curls soft, manageable, frizz-free and detangled. The pomegranate and honey aroma is delectable, but not overpowering.

Mielle Pomegranate & Honey Blend Air Dry Styler Gel is formulated to help air dry curly hair, and to "elongate, clump and set type 4 hair" and it is most often used after the Mielle Pomegranate & Honey Air Dry Styling Lotion, but since my hair is the less curly type 3 curls (see picture below) I modify how I use this product. I just spray it into my freshly washed hair and it helps to define and set my curls. Furthermore, art offers light hold, it fights frizz and it smells delectable. Overall Assessment: As a person with curly hair, this product is just heavenly and ultra-effective. It is very concentrated, and therefore I take a less is more approach and add more as needed. This is an incredible addition to my haircare routine.

milk_shake Lifestyling Curl Shaper is a wonderful styling product for curly hair. The creamy texture is easy to distribute throughout the hair and it beautifully defines and enhances curls while fighting frizz and fly-aways. It doesn't weigh down hair, and leaves it touchable, soft, manageable and shiny. It has a lovely fruity aroma, but it fades quickly and shouldn't bother people with fragrance sensitivities. If you have curly hair, then this is a worthwhile product to have. It does include silicone-based ingredients, mineral oil and fragrance in case those are ingredients that you avoid, but they don't pose a problem for my hair.

If you have curly hair, you know how difficult it can be to find a nourishing and non-stripping shampoo that doesn't weigh down the hair, or a conditioner that gives enough moisture without leaving hair limp and greasy. Quite often, my hair is either left dry, frizzy and knotted, or weighed down by a greasy residue. Finding the right balance can be a challenge, but I have found that milk_shake knows a thing or two about properly caring for curly hair.
