milk_shake Lifestyling Curl Shaper is a wonderful styling product for curly hair. The creamy texture is easy to distribute throughout the hair and it beautifully defines and enhances curls while fighting frizz and fly-aways. It doesn't weigh down hair, and leaves it touchable, soft, manageable and shiny. It has a lovely fruity aroma, but it fades quickly and shouldn't bother people with fragrance sensitivities. If you have curly hair, then this is a worthwhile product to have. It does include silicone-based ingredients, mineral oil and fragrance in case those are ingredients that you avoid, but they don't pose a problem for my hair.

It is thinner and more concentrated than many of the other silicone-based hair serums that I have used because Cyclopentasiloxane is a very lightweight and silky silicone that is quite emollient with a bit more slip. The end result is that this is a highly effective serum that lacks the heaviness associated with products of this sort, and I prefer its lighter texture. It has a wonderful fruity scent that is punctuated by fresh ocean notes– just like the aroma used in the primer.
