Plum and peachy-pink lipsticks are my favorite shades to wear during the colder months, and I thought that I would feature a high-end and an affordable version of two of my favorite plum lipsticks, and while I selected two that met that criteria I decided to throw in a sheer-leaning glossy peachy pink lipstick as well, since it can be such a nice topper for richer plum shades.

Nanacoco Liptastic Lipstick in Pink Champagne ($8.50 from BB Full): This lipstick is quite sheer, but it offers enough color to give lips a lovely flush, and it adds dimension and sheen to richly pigmented lipsticks like Nanacoco Magnumatte Lip Crayon in Roasted Chestnut. It is a moisturizing and glossy lipstick that is comfortable on the lips, and silky smooth in texture.

Overall Assessment: If you are looking for a luxury Plum lipstick, then Jane Iredale's Triple Luxe Long Lasting Naturally Moist Lipstick in Joanna is the way to go. If you are on a budget, then Nanacoco Magnumatte Lip Crayon in Roasted Chestnut is a great alternative. Pink Champagne is a stunning topper for Roasted Chestnut, but is a lovely peachy-pink on its own.

Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayon is a wonderful multitasking crayon that can be used as a lip liner or as a lipstick. It can be worn alone or under your favorite lipsticks ad lip glosses. While the formula is described as matte, it is neither flat nor drying. Instead the formula is moisturizing, and has a light sheen. Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayons glide across the lips effortlessly, deposit color evenly, and they neither feather, nor bleed. They are long-wearing, very comfortable on the lips, and they are ultra-pigmented.
The two shades that I am featuring here are Cava and Pastille. The former is a stunning lilac beige that is a wonderful cool-leaning nude. The latter is a dusty mauve rose. These lovely lip crayons have a light fruity flavor and aroma, but they fade very quickly.
