Overall Assessment: I am so thrilled by this purchase, and am happy that I actually remembered to make it! I am definitely considering picking up another color or two because I am smitten with the formula. Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Eye Shadow in Rio de Rose Gold ($18.00 for 0.16 fl. oz. from Josiemaran.com, Sephora and QVC): Rio De Rose Gold is a stunning shimmering rose gold liquid eyeshadow that actually moisturizes your eyelids while providing a gorgeous luminescent finish. This formal offers buildable coverage, but can be also be sheered out for a faint wash of color. Unlike many liquid eyeshadows that can feel drying once they set, this one feels comfortable of the eyelids. I am able to get 6-8 hours of wear before there is any fading, but I do not have oily eyelids– therefore your wear-time may vary.

The lip stain is exceedingly long wearing, and once it sets it doesn't budge all day. The softly pointed tip is a very pragmatic design choice since it allows for very precise lining and filling in of the lips. It can be worn alone, or you can layer it beneath the lip gloss for an even more lovely effect.
The lip gloss has slightly thickened consistency with just enough tackiness to be exceedingly long wearing, but without being uncomfortable or sticky. It offers a gorgeous shiny finish, and the color, while fairly pale, does not settle into lip lines.

I highly recommend using this at night in conjunction with comfy socks, you will see the difference the following morning!

Burt's Bees Lip Crayon in Napa Vineyard ($9.00 for 0.11 oz. from Burt's Bees, Ulta, Target, Drugstore.com, Walgreens, Dermstore.com and Amazon): I love Burt's Bees Lip Crayons, in part because of their great natural ingredients, but also because they are high quality, and beautifully pigmented chubby lip crayons. The lightweight balm-like texture is both comfortable on the lips and moisturizing. It features a convenient twist up design, and none of the mess or waste associated with sharpening.
While it is described as a full coverage matte lip color, I would add that like many modern mattes this one does possess some sheen. Unlike other mattes, this one contains Shea Butter, Kendi Oil and Jojoba Oil, and the added moisture that these ingredients provide makes this one fantastic formula. This hydrating lip crayon is a wonderful hybrid lipstick/lip balm that you can wear all day long without your lips getting dry or uncomfortable.
