Rahua Smoothing Hair Balm is a seriously nourishing and hydrating balm that effectively fights frizz and fly-aways while moisturizing, smoothing and taming even the most unruly tresses. The formula is emollient, but it does not leave hair in the least bit greasy. Instead, the lightweight formula melts into the hair and leaves it soft, supple and with a gorgeous glossy shine. Additionally, it has a light floral aroma that is utterly delectable, but it isn't in the least bit imposing. The formula is quite concentrated, therefore a little really does go a long way. I simply warm up a tiny bit and work it through my hair. I apply it to slightly damp or dry hair, and have used it every single day since opening the jar.

Overall Assessment: This is, without question, another A+ product from Rahua. I am currently swimming in haircare products, but this is definitely something that I will purchase after I finish it up.
I have dry and naturally curly that is color-treated, and therefore non-stripping shampoos and conditioners that are very hydrating are an absolute necessity for me. In fact, many so-called hydrating shampoos and conditioners leave my hair frizzy, stripped and dry, or greasy and weighed down. Therefore, my discovery Rahua Hydration Shampoo and Hydration Conditioner, which are both intensely hydrating, ranks among my greatest recent haircare finds.
Additionally, Rahua's products are cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, safe for color-treated hair and filled with safe and healthy clean and green ingredients.
Rahua Hydration Shampoo ($34.00 for 9.5 oz. from Rahua, Dermstore and The Detox Market): Many shampoos claim to be moisturizing, but seldom do they deliver on such promises without leaving behind an unpleasant greasy residue that weighs hair down. Rahua, on the other hand, has in this wondrous shampoo created a delectable cleanser that has a rich and creamy lather that hydrates, rather than strips dry hair, and it never weighs it down. The first thing that you will undoubtedly note, aside from the incredible lather, is the delicious passion fruit and mango aroma– seriously, it smells so good that I often just open it up to have a sniff! The ultra-nourishing shampoo not only hydrates unruly tresses, but it also effectively fights frizz and leaves hair with a lovely shine. If you have straight hair, this is a bit easier to achieve, but if you have naturally curly hair it is a far greater challenge. If you have dry hair, frizzy hair or over-processed hair, then this is a really great shampoo choice for you.

Finding excellent quality shampoos and conditioners that work wonders on dry and damaged hair is, in my experience, a challenge. While my hair is not damaged, it is naturally curly and on the dry side. I always seek nourishing formulas that are non-stripping, ultra-nourishing and help to control frizz. I had great hopes that T'ZIKAL Deep Hydrating Shampoo and Deep Moisture Conditioning Cream would be a perfect fit for my hair– especially given my overwhelmingly great results with their Hand Balm and Hand Cream (Reviewed HERE)– and they both exceeded my expectations.

T'ZIKAL Deep Moisture Conditioning Cream is a deeply hydrating and intensely nourishing conditioner that is unmitigated perfection for dry and damaged hair. While T'ZIKAL recommends leaving it on for only 1 minute, I tend to apply it at the very beginning of my shower and then rinse it out right before I turn off the water. I tend to leave all of my conditioners on longer because dry, curly hair needs all of the extra help that it can! This conditioner is, unquestionably, one of the finest conditioners to have graced my tresses. It immediately detangles my hair, and I do not have to add any other detangling products to get a comb through my wet hair– and trust me when I tell you that this is miraculous for me! Furthermore, it renders my hair frizz and flyaway free– not to mention the fact that it gives my hair a lovely glossy shine. Like their shampoo, it has a wonderful earthy aroma that is punctuated by lavender, but the aroma does not linger all day long, and therefore will not interfere with any other fragrances that you may want to wear.

Overall Assessment: If you have dry and/or damaged hair– then I cannot sufficiently underscore the extent to which this shampoo and conditioners are must-haves. Thankfully, they are available in travel sizes so that you can try them out before purchasing the full size bottles. Both earn an A+!
