Makeup wipes are a staple in my travel bag, and I use them when I am swatching at home, but I also find that I reach for them on the nights when I get home late from work and am simply too tired to wash my face. Therefore, I was quite happy when I began using the Hanhoo Argan Oil Makeup Removing Wipes with Vitamin C. Hanloo is a K Beauty brand that you can find at Walmart, and it is very affordable!
While I have used a lot of different makeup removing wipes, I have to say that the Hanhoo Argan Oil Makeup Removing Wipes with Vitamin C are far more luxe in feel. The wipes are made from a very plush and ultra soft material that feels more like a fabric than a disposable material, and it feels oh so good against the skin! They are very gentle against the skin especially the delicate area around the eyes, and each wipe is moist enough that there is no need to tug at the skin to remove every trace of makeup.
The antioxidant-rich Argan Oil moisturizes the skin while the Vitamin C has a brightening effect. The wipes effectively remove eye makeup, without stinging my sensitive eyes, and they remove dirt and makeup from the face effectively and efficiently. Skin is left clean, soft and lightly hydrated, and never dry or taut. The wipes have a very light aroma that may be from the Argan Oil, but it isn't in the least bit irritating or overpowering. They also make face masks, as shown in the photo above, but I haven't had the chance to try them yet.

Overall Assessment: I am so impressed by the efficacy of the Derma E Hydrating Facial Wipes with Hyaluronic Acid that they have quickly become my favorite wipes– especially after doing excessive swatching (which can be unforgiving on the skin). Cetaphil Gentle Makeup Remover ($8.99-$10.99 for 6 fl oz. from Target, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Amazon, Walmart and other mass retailers): This is a wonderful ultra-gentle oil-free bi-phase liquid eye makeup remover that even removes waterproof formulas! Cetaphil Gentle Makeup Remover, which uses silicone instead of oil as its main ingredient, allows you to remove every trace of makeup without a leaving behind a greasy residue. Formulated with Aloe Vera, Ginseng, and Green Tea, this makeup remover is soothing and gentle enough for sensitive eyes like mine.

Differin Gel ($13.99 for .05 oz. from Ulta, Target, Amazon and Walmart): Whether you are prone to breakouts and need a spot treatment, or if you are going to be wearing lots of heavy Halloween makeup that can cause clogged pores and breakouts, Differin Gel will clear breakouts and prevent new pimples from forming.
Overall Assessment: Great drugstore picks worthy of a place in your medicine cabinet year round, but they are also very capable of dealing with all of your Halloween makeup removal needs as well.
I recently received an email from a longtime reader who, while madly in love with a variety of luxury skincare products, wanted a suggestion for affordable drugstore facial cleansers and sunscreens. It effectively balances the skin without drying it out, and it leaves skin with a natural, semi-matte finish. The aroma is a light fruity floral that I find utterly delectable. This is the perfect daily moisturizer for the warm-weather, and if you have combination to oily-skin it is a great choice, period! I like to add a little to my foundations to transform them into tinted moisturizers, and its cream-gel texture acts as a built-in primer.
