There is nothing that dulls color-treated hair faster than using the wrong shampoo and conditioner. Many are far too astringent and not only do not aid in preserving the color treatment, but actually shorten its longevity. I color treat my hair a couple of time a year, and given that I have naturally curly hair that has a tendency to be dry– I have to be very careful to select nourishing shampoos, conditioners and styling products.

If you have wavy, curly or kinky hair, or any variation in-between, then you have probably sought refuge in a high quality hair oil to tame and nourish those unruly tresses.
