I have been quite impressed by all of the products that I have tried from Osmosis Skincare and Osmosis + Colour Makeup, and I was elated to have the opportunity to try some new and new-to-me products from this covet-worthy brand. The changing season is always a great time to reboot skincare and makeup picks, and I have found all of the featured products perfect for the Autumn weather.
Osmosis + Colour Performance Wear Satin Foundation in Natural Light and Golden Light ($48.00 for 1.2 oz. from Osmosis): Osmosis + Colour recently launched a new satin foundation in 5 shades that are vegan and gluten-free. This lovely new addition to their wealth of beautiful makeup and skincare products, has a lightweight silky texture, it blends to perfection, it offers buildable coverage. it lasts all day long, and it remains true-to-color. It has a beautiful natural finish without looking in the least bit artificial. It neither settles into fine lines, nor does it emphasize pores.
Known for incorporating skincare ingredients in their makeup, this new foundation offers skin plumping, wrinkle and line soothing properties that improve the overall texture and appearance of the skin. Among the ingredients used, is the anti-aging Dermaxyl, that is known to stimulate "cell communication and then repairing age related skin damage." Furthermore, Hyaluronic Acid offers deep hydration while plumping fine lines, and skin is left soft, smooth and refreshed. It is worthy to note that it contains no fragrance, and will therefore pose no problems for people with sensitivities to fragrance.
I am incredibly impressed by this formula, and love the way that it looks and feels on the skin. My only hope is that Osmosis adds far more shades since there are only 5 from which to choose.
I have two shades, Natural Light and Golden Light, and can wear both on my skin tone. Natural Light is slightly more peach in tone, and Golden Light has a slightly yellow undertone.

Unlike many powder mineral foundations, that can feel drying, tightening and heavy on the skin, this one does not. It offers buildable coverage, it feels like a second skin and it offers light hydration. It contains an SPF 27+ protection, is water resistant and lasts through a workout. It contains no detectable fragrance.

Osmosis + Colour Eye Pencil in Black ($25.00 for 1.2g from Osmosis and Dermstore): Finding an eyeliner pencil that doesn't migrate or transfer can be quite a feat– especially for people with oily eyelids. While I do not have oily lids, I do still find that many creamier formulas end up smearing by the end of the day, but I have found this formula melt-proof and smudge-proof without being too hard that it pulls and tugs on the eyes. The water-resistant formula is very long-wearing, and yet the consistency is creamy and soft enough to effortlessly glide across the skin while depositing color evenly.

Chella Eyebrow Cream consists of a angled brow brush on one end and at the other end a small pot filled with an ultra-luxe eye brow cream. One simply dips the brush into the pot and effortlessly fills in and shapes their brows. The eyebrow cream is very concentrated, and therefore only the tiniest amount is needed to create natural brows. The consistency is creamy enough that it is very easy to work with, but not so much so that it and it migrates, or fades away. It can be sheered out for minimal coverage, or built up for maximum opacity, but I definitely suggest taking a less-is-more approach, and building coverage as needed.

RIMMEL LONDON Lasting Finish Primer ($7.99 for 1 oz. from Ulta): If you seek an excellent primer at drugstore prices, then you this is definitely a great choice. It leaves skin so smooth, minimizes the appearance of pores and does an excellent job blurring imperfections. Furthermore, my skin does appear brightened, as RIMMEL suggests. It transforms from white to completely clear once it warms up against the skin. I find that it is quite concentrated, and that only a very small amount is needed for the best results. It really extends the wear-time of my foundation, and even when the weather is warm I can forgo makeup touchups.

It brightens, smoothes out the overall appearance of the skin and mattifies. It also effectively prolongs the wear time of foundation.

NEW RIMMEL LONDON Match Perfection Foundation in 302 Golden Honey ($5.99 for 1 oz.): This foundation, which has an SPF 20, is formulated to provide invisible coverage and visibly perfected skin. It provides a soft focus to blur imperfections, and it leaves skin smooth and hydrated. Golden Honey is a bi too warm and dark for me– therefore I need to test a closer match in order to evaluate the longevity. I will say that it feels wonderful and utterly weightless on the skin.

RIMMEL LONDON Scandaleyes Eye Shadow Stick ($4.49 from Ulta and Walgreens): Rimmel London ScandalEyes Eyeshadow Sticks are waterproof and budge-proof eyeshadow sticks that are gorgeous, long-wearing, and come in a beautiful array of richly saturated hues.
According to RIMMEL, the jumbo applicator, "creates a dramatic look in just one stroke." It can be used as both an eye shadow or an eyeliner, and the creamy application effortlessly glides across the skin depositing color evenly. The ultra creamy formula blends effortlessly and boasts a gorgeous long wearing and fade-proof luminous finish. I get all day wear without smudging, creasing or fading, but I do not have oily eyelids. I wear it without a primer, but if you have particularly oily eyelids you will definitely increase your wear time with a primer. I did not test their 24HR wear claims because I never sleep with makeup on, but I definitely found that the formula was waterproof and smudge-proof. This formula can be used an eyeshadow or eyeliner.

RIMMEL LONDON Super Curler 24 Mascara ($5.99 from Ulta): I am very inconsistent in my use of an eyelash curler, and I was pretty surprised to see that it actually lifted my lashes. On me, it offered a slight curl that I would more apply describe as a lift the widened and opened the appearance of my eyes. It also gave me full and voluminous lashes in one coat without clumping.

RIMMEL LONDON Lift Me Up Eye-Widening Volume & Lift Mascara ($8.49 from Ulta, Drugstore.com and Target): The first things that I noticed about this mascara was the light cucumber scent and the fantastic hourglass shaped brush. The formula is enriched with Argan Oil to condition the lashes, and it feels lightweight on the lashes. I neither experienced clumping, nor did I experience any flaking.

RIMMEL LONDON Kate Nudes Lipstick in #045 Rose Nude ($5.79-$9.50 each exclusively at Walmart, Walgreens, Target and ASOS): Rimmel London claims that you will get 8 hours of wear out of these lipsticks, but as an avid water and coffee drinker I don't experience that level of longevity. There is also a sheen to these pretty lipsticks that means that there is more transfer to my cup as I sip my water and coffee throughout the day. I will say that the formula feels fantastic and hydrating on my lips, and it boasts excellent pigmentation in a single pass.
These lipsticks have the same fruity scent that Rimmel London Lipsticks are known for, and while I don't find it overpowering– people who prefer fragrance-free lipsticks may want to smell them first to see if it is too much for them.
