Kiss New York Radiant Glow Kojic Acid Overnight Wrapping Mask is a gel peel off mask that you apply to clean skin after cleansing. Using the spatula that is provided, simply spread a not-too-thick layer of the gel to the face– avoiding the lips and eye area– and let it dry down for about 15 minutes. Then have fun peeling the dried gel off of your face and rinsing to remove any bits that you missed. It is formulated to brighten the skin and improve the appearance of uneven skin. As always, I consult with my doctor to have my skin evaluated before using products that help fade sun spots or unevenness in tone from sun damage– just to make sure that they are not pre-cancerous or concerning to my doctor. It is also imperative to use a high SPF sunscreen to further protect the skin.
I note that my skin is radiant and hydrated when I use this mask, and I have a lot of fun peeling these types of masks. I recommend using a headband so that you do not get it in your hair! This mask includes fragrance among its ingredients, and it smells like a light citrus scent to me. I do not find it overpowering or unpleasant, but if you can't tolerate any fragrance in skincare products, then you may prefer not to use this. However, I will note that while it is drying on my skin the mild scent fades.
