NEW Osmosis Colour Lip Gloss in Bellini and Primrose | Review and Swatches

Press Sample (Unaffiliated Links)

I love the Osmosis Colour Lip Gloss formula (more Osmosis Colour Lip Glosses reviewed HERE), and am thrilled by their two brand new colors for summer! Bellini, which is a gorgeous coral-kissed orange, and Primrose, which is a stunning bright pink, are absolutely perfect for the season. These antioxidant-rich mineral lip glosses, which feature 3D pigments for a dewy, plumped pout, leave lips soft, hydrated and gorgeously glossy.
These beautiful lip glosses are non-sticky, and they boast a very rich and creamy texture punctuated by 3D pigments that make lips appear more full and plump. Nourishing ingredients, such as sunflower and jojoba oils, hydrate skin, heal chapped lips and leave skin soft, smooth and supple.

Bellini and Primrose both glide across the lips effortlessly, deposit rich color evenly and they neither migrate, nor settle into lip lines. While the formula is non-sticky, it had impressive longevity– particularly since so many non-sticky glosses have a tendency to require frequent reapplication. Both lip glosses have the wonderful summery scent of grapefruit and strawberries, but the scent does not linger once applied to the lips.
According to Osmosis Colour,

The Osmosis Lip Gloss allows you to go from natural to high shine with transparent and rich lacquered colors. Keep lips soft and hydrated with a pleasant scent of grapefruit and strawberry.

Application Tips:Experiment with highlighters from eye shadow trios to enhance shimmer on your lip gloss. Mix and match glosses for a brighter collection of colors.
 Gluten-Free. Oncology Friendly.

 Press Sample (Affiliate Links)

Osmosis Colour has now added antioxidant-rich Moringa Oil and Green Tea Leaf Extract to some of their makeup, and these healthy skincare ingredients make each of these ultra-finely milled powders feel at once silky smooth and creamy. Each of the shades that I have glide across the skin effortlessly, deposit color evenly and they boast impressive pigmentation. If you are seeking high quality cruelty-free makeup, filled with skincare ingredients, then these gems are well worth your consideration.
According to Osmosis Colour,

As a protein-packed super green, Moringa is the trending beauty ingredient that not only offers clearer skin, but also delivers age-reversing benefits. Osmosis Colour offers 7 different cruelty-free makeup options using Moringa.... This protein-packed green contains even more nutrients than kale (yes, we said it), infusing the skin with vitamins and antioxidants. Originally grown from trees in India, Africa, and South American regions, moringa is rich in protein, calcium, iron, and vitamins like vitamin C, E, and A. This beauty boosting superfood is a multi-tasker, helping to clear skin of acne and keep wrinkles at bay.

Osmosis uses moringa in its oil-form (Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil) to get the most out of the nourishing and age-reversing benefits it delivers to the skin. Now, you can feel great about the makeup you choose, knowing it is chock-full of vitamins and minerals and plenty of antioxidants!

According to Osmosis Colour,

Rich pigments that last all day, these easy-to-blend, mix-and-match shades create natural day and evening looks. The lightest shade acts as a highlighter while the deepest shade defines your eyes.

Osmosis Colour Eyeshadow Trio in Aubergine is beautiful cool-toned palette that features a beautiful deep and rich purple, a cool-steely gray and a bright cool white.

Osmosis Colour Eyeshadow Trio in Bronzed Cocoa is a warm-toned neutral palette that features a light buttercream, a rich warm copper-kissed bronze and a mid-tone espresso.

New Year's Eve Midnight Glitz Makeup Tutorial from Osmosis Colour | #OsmosisColour

Press Sample (Affiliate Links)

From the first moment that I saw Osmosis Colour Azure Water Color I fell madly in love with it, it is the most sublime hue between cyan and blue that I have ever seen, and I couldn't wait to try it. Below you will find a step-by-step tutorial to fashion the look created by Osmosis Global Corporate Educator, Ami Mallon, whose magical "Midnight Glitz" is a dramatic glimmering smoky eye for New Year's Eve.
If you love the color, but find the look too bold for your liking, then simply line your upper and lower lids with the black eye pencil and then apply Azure Water Color over the liner. It is a high-impact color that can be used more sparingly, if you prefer a more subtle approach. If, however, you are willing to take a bold approach for the festivities, then you will find this tutorial easy to follow and recreate.
Products used:

Osmosis Colour Black Eye Pencil ($25.00  for 0.04 oz. from Osmosis, Dermstore and Skin Care RX): Water-resistant and long lasting wearability, the Osmosis Eye Pencil collection features a creamy, quick drying formula.

Osmosis Colour Azure Water Color ($20.00  for 0.07 oz. from Osmosis and Dermstore): This hydrating formula offers a radiant glimmer of color to the eyelids that won't crease.

Osmosis Colour Opal Water Color ($20.00 from Osmosis): This hydrating formula offers a radiant glimmer of color to the eyelids that won't crease.

Osmosis Colour Volumizing Mascara ($25.00 from Osmosis and Skin Care RX): This full head brush will enhance the lashes making them appear longer and fuller.
Midnight Glitz Tutorial:
Step 1: Prep the eyes by blending a small amount of the Age Defying Treatment Concealer with the Concealer Brush. Using the Blender Brush, sweep the darker shade from the Lustrous Contour Duo into your crease to create definition.
Step 2: Apply the Osmosis Colour Black Eye Pencil on your lid from lash line to crease. Don't worry about precision in this step, we'll be blending it in the next!
Step 3: Blend the Osmosis Colour Black Eye Pencil using the Contour Shadow Brush. TIP: Our Eye Pencils are long-wear and will set quickly, so get to blending as soon as you can!
Step 4: Then, apply Osmosis Colour Black Eye Pencil to your lower lash line and blend under your eye using the smudge brush at the end of the Eye Pencil for a natural smokey look.
Step 5: Using your finger or our Smudge Brush, dab Osmosis Colour Azure Water Color onto the center of your lid and blend into your crease and outwards.
Step 6: Take the same Smudge Brush and apply a small amount of Osmosis Colour Azure Water Color to the center of the lower lash line to make the eye look larger.
Step 7: With your finger or a clean Smudge Brush, dab a small amount of Osmosis Colour Opal Water Color in your tear duct area as well as under your brow to brighten and highlight! Then, apply several coats of the Osmosis Colour Volumizing Mascara to complete the eye look.
Left to Right: Black Eye Pencil, Azure Water Color, Opal Water Color and the shadows layered over the Black Eye Pencil.
Overall Assessment: This dramatic smoky eye would be perfect paired with a nude pink lip and a light flush of color on the cheeks. Have a safe and Happy New Year!

 Press Sample (Affiliate Links)

I have been quite impressed by all of the products that I have tried from Osmosis Skincare and Osmosis + Colour Makeup, and I was elated to have the opportunity to try some new and new-to-me products from this covet-worthy brand. The changing season is always a great time to reboot skincare and makeup picks, and I have found all of the featured products perfect for the Autumn weather.
Osmosis + Colour Performance Wear Satin Foundation in Natural Light and Golden Light ($48.00 for 1.2 oz. from Osmosis): Osmosis + Colour recently launched a new satin foundation in 5 shades that are vegan and gluten-free. This lovely new addition to their wealth of beautiful makeup and skincare products, has a lightweight silky texture, it blends to perfection, it offers buildable coverage. it lasts all day long, and it remains true-to-color. It has a beautiful natural finish without looking in the least bit artificial. It neither settles into fine lines, nor does it emphasize pores.

Known for incorporating skincare ingredients in their makeup, this new foundation offers skin plumping, wrinkle and line soothing properties that improve the overall texture and appearance of the skin. Among the ingredients used, is the anti-aging Dermaxyl, that is known to stimulate "cell communication and then repairing age related skin damage." Furthermore, Hyaluronic Acid offers deep hydration while plumping fine lines, and skin is left soft, smooth and refreshed. It is worthy to note that it contains no fragrance, and will therefore pose no problems for people with sensitivities to fragrance.

I am incredibly impressed by this formula, and love the way that it looks and feels on the skin. My only hope is that Osmosis adds far more shades since there are only 5 from which to choose.

I have two shades, Natural Light and Golden Light, and can wear both on my skin tone. Natural Light is slightly more peach in tone, and Golden Light has a slightly yellow undertone.

While I do not have oily lids, I do still find that many creamier formulas end up smearing by the end of the day, but I have found this formula melt-proof and smudge-proof without being too hard that it pulls and tugs on the eyes. The water-resistant formula is very long-wearing, and yet the consistency is creamy and soft enough to effortlessly glide across the skin while depositing color evenly.

Osmosis Colour Lip Gloss in Bare, Pink Sapphire and Lilac | Review and Swatches

Press Sample (Affiliated Links)

Given that I am particularly fond of the Osmosis skincare and makeup products that I have tried, I was really excited by the prospects of trying they lip glosses. For many years, I favored lip glosses over lipsticks, and while I love lipstick I still have a soft spot for high quality lip glosses. My preference is long-wearing glosses with a beautiful shimmering shine, and minimal stickiness, and I am delighted to report that the Osmosis Colour Lip Gloss delivered on all three of these preferences.

Osmosis Colour Lip Glosses are slightly thicker than the more wet variety of glosses, but they are not in the least bit sticky. Instead, the formula vigorously clings to the lips, and it neither settles into lip lines, nor does it bleed or pool. Each of the three lip glosses that I tested have the right amount of cushion for comfortable wear, and the 3D pigments make lips appear more full. Furthermore, I find the formula moisturizing, and after a day of wear my lips are left soft and hydrated. While Osmosis Color Lip Glosses has a light fruity flavor in the tube, I detect no flavor on my lips.
According to Osmosis,

Available in 6 shades with an irresistible scent of grapefruit and strawberry, the Osmosis Colour Mineral Cosmetics Lip Gloss Collection allows you to go from natural to high shine with transparent and rich lacquered colors. Each gloss features a creamy, rich texture and 3D pigments to help your lips appear fuller and more plumped. The line’s jojoba and sunflower oils hydrate and nourish, encouraging the healing process and turning dry, chapped areas into baby smooth and soft.

Enhancing your natural barriers to lock moisture in, each formula will also promote firmness and elasticity. Each swipe of luminous color will even help remove free radicals and block environmental age-factors, all thanks to its antioxidant packed ingredients.
Gluten-Free. Oncology Friendly.
Top to Bottom: Lilac, Pink Sapphire and Bare

Lilac is a gorgeous shear-leaning shimmering lilac-kissed pink with shimmer.
Pink Sapphire is stunning mid-tone rosy pink.
Bare is a peachy brown.

Overall Assessment: I am very happy with these lip glosses, and definitely think that they are worth trying. Of the three gorgeous shades, I am the most smitten with Lilac since I adore lilac-kissed pinks!
