Tweezerman Smooth Finish Facial Hair Remover ($20.00 from Tweezerman, ULTA, Amazon, Sephora and Nordstrom): I have to admit that it took me a few tries to get the hang of it, but once I reread the instructions, I found that it was easy to use, and that it worked swiftly, efficiently and effectively. It removed multiple hairs at once, and I didn't find it painful in the least bit. If you are accustomed to plucking your stray eyebrow hairs, then this tool feels much like that. They even included a pair of tweezers just in case you need to grab a few stray hairs individually.

I had a truly wretched bug during the first half of October, and as a result I sought to use up samples and mostly empty products in an effort to avoid infecting anything else. Product testing came to a screeching halt, and I didn't wear any makeup for the duration of my flu. Therefore, what you see was either nearly gone to begin with, or that I wasn't likely to infect. When it came to washing my face I used samples in order to keep my germy fingers out of my regular sized products.

Rituals Magic Touch Cherry Blossom & Rice Milk Whipped Body Cream: This is an utterly amazing body cream! The whipped texture feels amazing to the touch, and this baby really nourishes the skin leaving it unbelievably soft, supple and silky. The scent is sweet and very pleasing.
Rituals Zensation Organic Rice Milk & Cherry Blossom Foaming Shower Gel(Reviewed here): Rituals makes truly amazing body products, and their Foaming Shower Gels are absolutely wonderful! Not only does this cleanse the skin beautiful, and leave it silky smooth and moisturized, but it also doubles as an amazing shaving cream! Kiss My Face Cucumber Green Tea Natural Active Life Deodorant: I have repurchased this deodorant so many times, and need to pick up another next time I go to Whole Foods. I love this stuff! Natural Style Moisture Shine Deep Conditioner & Co-wash packets: This seems nice, but sample packets don't tend to give me enough time with a product to be able to tell whether or not it will work for me. Molton Brown Orange and Bergamot Body Wash: Simply delectable. I need a big bottle of this in my life! Moroccanoil Hand Cream and Body Souffle Samples: Very nice products, but the samples didn't allow me to use them long enough to really see their effects. I definitely want to investigate their new line of body products further.
Sponge Krema Triantafillo (Rose and Sage Cream) (Reviewed here): This is a nourishing and healing cream that feels amazing on the skin-- I whimpered when I finished this bottle, and will eventually replace it!
Sponge Ladi Avokanto (Reviewed here): This is a gorgeous olive oil and avocado based beauty oil that feels amazing on the skin, and it leaves it nourished, hydrated and glowing!
The Organic Pharmacy Virgin Cold Pressed Rose Hip Oil (Reviewed here): The Organic Pharmacy remains one of my very favorite lines, and their beauty oils are amazing! If you are looking for a great cold pressed Rose Hip oil-- this is definitely one to consider!
Caudalie Makeup Remover Cleansing Water: This is a nice cleansing water, but I do wish that it contained less fragrance.
Radical Skincare Anti-Aging Replenishing Extreme Moisture (Reviewed here): This is definitely one of my favorite face creams, and it will definitely be getting plenty of use now that the weather is cooling down!
Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask: This is a really nice exfoliating mask, but the sample only allowed for a single use, and therefore I didn't use it long enough to say more than that.
Arcona Overnight Cellular Repair Complex: I didn't use this long enough to review it, since it is a deluxe sample, but I used it long enough to see that it is an excellent overnight repair cream! I want a full sized jar now!
Kate Somerville Exfolikate (Reviewed here): Seriously amazing scrub, and I can't imagine ever being without a tube!
Lab Sample from Painted Earth Cosmetics: Absolutely amazing beauty oil, and I can't wait to try the finalized version!
TATCHA POLISHED Classic Rice Enzyme Powder (14 packets!) (Reviewed here): A Classic, indeed. This amazing powder leaves skin baby's bottom soft, and effectively whisks away dead skin cells! I will buy this over and over again! This is one of the only things that made me feel semi-human when I had the flu, and I used up my travel packets to keep my germy hands off of my full-size jar!
Reviva Labs Microdermabrasion Pomegranate Scrub (Reviewed here): This is a highly effective, and also very affordable, scrub that really transforms the skin from dull to luminescent in no time at all. It is also wonderful when used on the body!
Shu Uemura Lip Pencil: This lip liner appears to have been discontinued long ago, but it was wonderful down to the last bit. Thankfully I have a full unused backup that I just opened, and will savor to that last use!
Tweezerman Eyenhance Brow Definer and Highlighter Duo (Reviewed here): This was a really nice definer and highlighter, and once I run out of what I have I will likely seek this one out again!

I have used Tweezerman products for as long as I can remember, and I was very excited about trying their recently launched line of makeup brushes. When Tweezerman sent me the Contour Concealer Brush I was thrilled because it was one of the standouts for me because of its versatile functionality and shape. I have plenty of highlighters and concealers, and simply couldn't wait to test it out.
This brush was specifically designed to:
Highlight and accentuate cheeks and around eyes with precision detail. The unique curve of this brush follows the natural contours of the face and fits perfectly into hard to reach areas like inner corners of eyes without causing irritation or dragging the skin. Follows natural contours of the face to layer color on evenly. Fits hard to reach areas naturally without irritation or drag.
The Contour Concealer Brush has Synthetic bristles made from DuPont Natrafil filaments, which are supposed to feel like--yet outperform-- animal hair brushes. I find that the Contour Concealer brush is quite soft against the skin, but I can tell that the bristles are synthetic. That is not a criticism of the brush, but more of an observation, and it doesn't change the fact that I am quite smitten with it.
The unique curved shape allows this handy little brush to effortlessly trace the contours of the face while depositing highlighter or concealer precisely where you want it, and not where you don't. In its capacity as an under eye concealer brush I find that it does an exemplary job getting into hard to reach areas such as the inner corners of my sensitive eyes, and without any irritation whatsoever. Furthermore, the curved shape allows one to work with great precision with little effort.
Tweezerman's Contour Concealer Brush has a nice curved shape that perfectly accommodates the natural curves of the face.
Tweezerman's Suggested Use & Care:
Use the brush vertically to sweep under eye primer/concealer below each eye—the shape of the brush is designed to fit and glide comfortably without irritating or dragging the delicate under eye skin. For highlighting, apply highlighting concealer or powder to the brush head sparingly (you can add more as needed to subtly blend and build a radiant effect—the shape of the brush will naturally layer on color evenly). Holding the brush horizontally and slightly at an angle, press the brush lightly to cheek, with the center hugging the apple of your cheekbone, smoothly sweep along the contour and back towards the hairline to create height and a healthy looking glow along the cheekbone. Repeat before reloading the brush to blend thoroughly between layers (if more than one sweep is even required), you want to achieve a subtle, soft glow. Brushes can easily be cleaned with a makeup remover or face wipe. Natrafil® filaments allow for easy and frequent cleaning without altering softness or performance. Air dry flat. Pair with full coverage & long wear concealers, eye primers and setting powders.

Overall assessment: Awesome products, as one expects from Tweezerman! I love both of these items for their quality and effectiveness, but I really delight in their whimsy! Both are well worth having. A+
I have been using Tweezerman products as long as I can remember, and can't think of a time when plucking and shaping my brows has been done without their assistance. Their quality is excellent, and Tweezerman products last and last and last. The only time that I have had my Tweezerman tweezers give out on me was at the hands of my husband who found them useful for some type of MacGyveresque top secret mission. He secretly removed them from my stash only to return them all battered up. That particular pair had to be retired to Mr. MacGyver Seicento's surfboard bag, and an invisible and magical force field had to be added around all of my remaining Tweezerman tweezers- just in case he needed more for his next mission.
Truthfully, I have never met a Tweezerman tool that I didn't love. The quality is always top notch, the products last forever, and they do exactly what they are supposed to do, but better than anything else that I have ever tried.

classic stainless steel or stainless steel with enamel color finishes." I agree with their assessment, and see why Allure editors have chosen these tweezers as a "Best of Beauty" winner for 11 years-- they really are that good.

stainless steel." These bad-boys mean serious business, and no hard to get eyebrow hair is going to escape the grip of this amazingly engineered pair of tweezers. These are perfect when you need a little extra leverage at a bit of an angle, and to grab pesky hairs that aren't quite ready to come out, but are visible enough to make your brows look a little ratty.
Point Tweezer $22: "Finely tapered, precision points are
hand-filed and perfectly aligned, making them ideal for stubble,
ingrowns, and baby-fine brow and facial hair." These are fantastic for ingrown hairs, and also amazing for removing splinters. I seldom have either, but when I do this pair does the trick. The occasional super fine hairs that I will find in my brows are effortlessly whisked away with the Point Tweezer as well. I would say that it is important to use caution with these-- they are quite sharp and pointed-- so tread lightly.
Mini Slant Tweezer with Enamel Polka Dot Color Finish $15.00: These are great to carry in your handbag, or on weekend getaways-- they even have their very own little plastic tube case keeping them from chpping or getting battered. I love mine!

Browmousse $10: "Ideal
for getting a beautifully shaped brow line to stay put all day… or for

precision, evenness and long-lasting wear. Fragrance-free." I have found that many brow gels and mousses end up flaking and looking awful shortly after they set and dry, but not so with Tweezerman Browmousse. Once it sets, it doesn't budge or flake-- it just keeps unruly brows well behaved and perfect in every way, and without looking unnatural or shellacked.

create perfectly shaped luminous brows. The brow pencil has a
long-wearing formula, suitable for all skintones and the highligher's
velvety smooth texture allows for easy application, and blending.
Includes a free sharpener." This product is just pure genius- it's just that simple. I never really bought into the notion of a one size fits all with respect to brow pencils, but oddly enough this one actually works very well on my dark dark dark brown eye brows. I also love the highlighter on the other end which really helps to highlight and accentuate the shape of my eyebrows when used with a light hand below the brows. It's nice that they also include a nice sharpener- so that you don't have to make an additional purchase.
Brow Shaping Scissors and Brush $18: "The custom-contoured body is designed for
super-comfortable maneuvering. Outfitted with sharp, ultra-thin
precision blades so you can isolate each hair with optimum accuracy and
control. Use included mini brush to help shape and define brows as you
trim." These are seriously high quality, well balanced precision scissors that have the perfect angle for carefully trimming your brows. It is so nice that they include a nice brush with the scissors because this is a match made in brow heaven.
Folding ILashcomb $9.50: "The perfectly spaced, gold plated metal
teeth glide through lashes to remove excess mascara, leaving your lashes
looking long, lovely and clump-free. Comb cleverly folds in to protect
teeth when not in use." This is the nicest lash comb that I have used, and unlike all of the ones that I have had with plastic teeth-- this one is much stronger and more stable, and will last forever (unless my husband "borrows"it for some of his MacGyveresque shenanigans again).
ProCurl Lash Curler

Honestly, it was not long ago when I finally retired my worn out 10 year old Revlon Lash Curler, and I didn't realize how bad it was until I found my beloved Kevyn Aucoin Eyelash Curler. Tweezerman's ProCurl Lash Curler is every bit as good as my Aucoin's. This eyelash curler fits my eye shape perfectly, has ample space to accommodate the shape of your eye and the length of your lashes. Additionally it is constructed with a perfect angle allowing you to get even the tiniest lashes tucked away in the corner of the eye. What's more, there is no pinching or pulling. This is worth every cent.
Overall assessment: Every single item here is of the highest quality, and I cannot recommend each of them highly enough. That said, you do not likely need every single piece that I have shown you if you are just starting out. However, if you are in need of any of these types of products shown here- I would certainly urge you to take a look at Tweezerman products before purchasing like products from other companies. I did that many many years ago, and have been loyal to Tweezerman ever since. Also if their products are a little out of your price range- remember that places like Bed, Bath & Beyond sell Tweezerman products- so you can always use one of their handy discount coupons.
