I am a very big fan of tinted lip balms, and was thrilled to receive the TIRTIR Waterism Glow Melting Balm in Mauve Rose #01. TIRTIR characterizes this tinted balm as one in which "hydration meets radiant shine"– and that is a very apt description. This tinted balm is medium weight, non-sticky, and it cocoons the lips in such an effective way. It provides long-lasting hydration, a nice wash of color and it has the perfect amount of cushion for comfortable wear. There is no detectable taste or smell, and the color lasts for quite a few hours before any need to reapply the balm. This is such a wonderful K-Beauty brand, and their skincare products are also well worth trying as well.

This tinted balm is available in 9 attractive shades, but I have only tried Mauve Rose.

Overall Assessment: I really like this formula a lot, and the color is just my type of mauve shade.

As the weather cools down finding a reliable lip balm is imperative, and I tend to seek eco-luxe varieties that are healthy, effective and a treat to use. Kosas Kosasport LipFuel Hyaluronic Lip Balm in Rush, which is described as a Pink Hyaluronic Lip Balm, definitely checks all of the boxes for me. It is a super hydrating tinted lip balm that feels incredible on the lips, offers the perfect wash of mid-tone pink for a subtle my-lips-but-better look, and it leaves lips incredibly soft and supple. While Rush appears quite opaque in the tube, it does tend to apply more sheer, but multiple passes do deliver greater pigmentation. Furthermore, it neither migrates, nor does it settle into lip lines. It is emollient, but not to the extent that it slides off of the lips. Instead, it stays put and has the perfect amount of cushion for comfortable wear.

I love the larger oval shape of the lip balm because it covers more surface area and is very easy and efficient to use. It has a very light minty smell and taste, but it is subtle rather than assertive. You will note that the Rosemary Leaf Extract and Mentha Arvensis Leaf Oil appear toward to bottom of the list of ingredients– therefore preventing it from overpowering the senses. Instead it is refreshing, but the flavor and aroma lack longevity.

It is a tinted lip balm, and L'Orangerie is a gorgeous peachy nude shade that is perfect for anyone who loves this shade of nude, like me! It has a light, warm and creamy aroma that is punctuated by the tiniest bit of Peppermint Oil, but it is barely detectable since it is the penultimate ingredient on the list.

Overall Assessment: I am quite impressed by these three products from Soleil Toujours, but I am completely obsessed with their Hydra Volume Lip Masque! If you are seeking new sunscreens, then Soleil Toujours is definitely worth trying this season.

I have been using Emile Cordon Cashmere-On Lip Pots (Reviewed HERE) for a couple of years, and their ultra-luxe lip balms remain among my very favorite lip products. Therefore, when they launched the Emile Cordon Miracle Lip Balms I could barely contain my excitement, and I was thrilled when I received 6 twinkling pots of these gorgeous gems. Each of these delectably fragrant luxurious lip balms nourish, hydrate and lightly plump the lips, and four of the six that I received are beautifully tinted in perfectly flattering buildable shades. Each of these Miracle Lip Balms impart the lips with a stunning glossy shine, and they have the perfect amount of cushion for comfortable wear. They nourish and moisturize the lips– leaving them soft, smooth, supple and lightly plumped.

The formula is very concentrated, therefore only a tiny amount is needed to coat the lips. However, the tinted balms offer buildable coverage, and therefore you may want to add a coat or two to achieve your desired level of opacity and color saturation.

Overall Assessment: If you love ultra-luxe lip balms, then Emile Cordon Miracle Lip Balms are sure to delight you. They are expensive, but they are incredibly concentrated. Therefore one beautiful glistening pot will last you a very very long time. I am thoroughly obsessed with all of Emile Cordon Lip Balms, and these are among my most-reached for lip products.

I am not sure whether you have heard the buzz about Dr. Lip Bang's Lip Balms and Tinted Lip Balms, but buzz is definitely the operative word here! These all-natural lip balms were created to deliver serious moisture to the lips, and their "super-secret, patent-pending blend of pure essential oils that, when combined together, create that unique buzzing sensation." These balms buzz and tingle like a lip plumper, but there is no intended, or detectable, plumping effect. Instead, the buzzing, which typically lasts about 15 minutes, on me at least, is water activated to hydrate and nourish the lips. Therefore, if the buzzing is too much for you, then you should wipe it off rather than try to wash it off. Be aware that if you kiss someone while wearing these lip balms that their lips will likewise start to buzz and tingle. There is no question that I see a definite improvement in the hydration of my lips when I use these unique lip balms.

Doctor Lip Bang's is cruelty-free, 100% natural, gluten-free, but not vegan since their balms contain beeswax.
