I can barely believe that I finished up 10 full-size products in the month of August, but while the pile looks impressive, I have to state that I nearly finished the deodorant in July, and got less than a full week of use in August. The hair mask, likewise was nearly finished in July, everything else had just enough product left to make it through the end of the month, but nothing in this pile was freshly opened in August and finished in the same month. I throughly enjoyed using everything here, and would happily use all of these products again, but in most cases I won't be replacing them soon because I am swimming in other products that I should, ideally, finish first.

Native Body Wash in Cucumber & Mint: I absolutely LOVE this body wash, and it has earned pride-of-place as my all-time favorite warm weather body wash. It is so refreshing, and the scent is uplifting and invigorating. While the fragrance is described as cucumber and mint, I detect mostly cucumber, but I absolutely love the aroma. It is gentle, and it never strips or dries out my skin. It is quite concentrated, and I just add a tiny bit to a nylon loofah and it produces a bountiful lather that is beautifully aromatic. Purchase Again? I already opened a new bottle!

Trader Joe's Bergamot & Vetiver Scented Hand Soap: This was a limited-time hand soap, and it sold out. What an absolute delight this is, and I really hope that they bring it back. In fact, I went back to buy 3 more bottles before they sold out, and now have one left. This beautiful citrusy floral scent is such a treat to the senses, and rather than drying out my hands, they are left lightly moisturized. The last time that I went to the same Trader Joe's they didn't have any left, but I plan to try again to get a few more bottles before they are gone altogether. I hope that there is enough demand for this lovely liquid hand soap that Trader Joe's considers making it part of their regular collection of hand soaps! A+ Purchase Again? In a heartbeat! Fingers crossed that they bring it back!

LAVANILA The Healthy Deodorant in Pure Vanilla: This is a wonderful healthy deodorant formula that is effective, smells delicious and offers long-lasting protection. Made from Pure Madagascar vanilla, creamy tonka bean, and a soft heliotrope blend, this delicious fragrance is a treat to the senses. The Pure Vanilla scent is warm and creamy perfection, and wearing it is a real pleasure.

If you are seeking an antiperspirant, then be advised that this does not prevent sweating. This has been my favorite healthy deodorant for many years now, and I will use it as long as LAVANILA makes it. It applies to the skin effortlessly, without tugging, and it never leaves a residue or stain on the clothes. This is a cruelty-free brand and their deodorants are free of aluminum and parabens. Purchase Again? I already opened another one!

Gotukola Youth Spring Keratin Hair Mask: While I have used  this conditioner as the company recommends, I have found that leaving the mask on longer renders even better results. I have tried a few additional methods of use: 1) leaving it on for several hours, and 2) leaving it on overnight, and in both situations my hair was left indescribably soft, shiny, and with beautifully formed glossy curls. It is a true thing of beauty to see naturally curly hair deeply moisturized and shiny, and trust me it is not an easy thing to achieve. It tames all of my frizz and fly-aways without weighing my hair down in the least bit. It also moisturizes so deeply that my hair is far more compliant when it comes to styling. Anyone who has dry hair will be shocked by the level of moisture that Gotukola Youth Spring Hair Mask delivers to their locks.

I have seen firsthand how this mask impacts non-curly hair, and to say that it creates breathtakingly beautiful and shiny hair is an understatement. The mask itself has a very dense, thick, and rich consistency. It has a very pleasant and comforting scent that I am at a loss to describe. This is undoubtedly luxury niche haircare at its finest, and anyone who with a penchant for hair masks will likely be delighted by this rare gem. Purchase Again? Eventually, but I have too many conditioners to use before I commit to buying more.

[ comfort zone ] Sublime Skin Eye Cream: is seriously an obsession-worthy eye cream. This lovely anti-aging eye cream, which is made in Italy by the Davines Skincare Division, is a nourishing and peptide-filled cream that is formulated to reduce puffiness, to soften the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, and to offer the skin serious and sustained moisture. It is a very emollient, and yet lightweight and fast-absorbing, cream that melts into the skin without leaving behind a greasy residue. I also noticed that it leaves my skin decidedly luminous and smooth. Additionally, there is no added fragrance, and no detectable scent, and therefore it should pose no problem for people with sensitive eyes, like me. Purchase Again? Not in the near future because I have too many open jars and bottles of eye cream to use first, but I love this eye cream!

Vichy Mineral 89 Eyes Hyaluronic Acid Eye Gel: This lightweight eye gel, which is ultra hydrating courtesy of the Hyaluronic Acid, is very nourishing and fast absorbing. It is suitable for all types of skin, including very sensitive skin, and it addresses dryness and dehydration while lifting fine lines and brightening and smoothing the skin. Furthermore, the gel formula is very refreshing, and it contains no irritating fragrance that can cause sensitive eyes to water and sting. Purchase Again? I would happily use this again and again, but need to finish some of my open eye products first!

Sisley Paris Eye Contour Mask: If you are seeking an effective mask that reduces the appearance of under eye puffiness, dark circles and fine lines– then this ultra-luxe mask needs to be on your radar. I have used this luxury treat for many years, and it is definitely my secret weapon for those days when I wake up with puffiness because I am exhausted and didn't get nearly enough sleep.  It is a smoothing mask, that is suitable for all types of skin, and it is specifically formulated to reduce puffiness, lighten dark circles and soften the appearance of fine lines.

On me, I have noted that it deeply hydrates the skin, efficiently smooths and plumps fine lines, reduces the appearance of puffiness and has lightened my dark circles associated with a poor night of sleep. The richly hydrating gel-based formula feels refreshing and lightly cooling, and immediately nourishes and moisturizes the skin leaving it soft, smooth, supple, lifted and dewy.

The recommendation is to apply a thick layer and to leave it on for about 10 minutes, and then gently tissue it off. However, I prefer to apply a moderate layer and leave it on for about 20 minutes instead. The results are impressive, and it is such a pleasure to use. I should remind you that I have sensitive eyes, and that this gentle formula does not irritate them or cause them to water. There is a very light aroma, presumably from the ingredients rather than an added fragrance, that is barely detectable. Purchase Again? I would be elated to use this again, but I am swimming in eye products right now now and can't justify the purchase– especially since it would be a splurge.

Bloomeffects Tulip Dew Cream: is a very emollient lightweight and fast absorbing gel-cream that instantly moisturizes the skin, and leaves it soft, radiant, dewy and comfortable. It delivers immediate hydration and the pleasant aroma is natural and light.

Bloomeffects uses their proprietary Dutch Tulip Complex and a nourishing multivitamin complex– consisting of Vitamins B3, Vitamin B5, C and E– that helps protect skin against environmental damage, and it leaves skin with a dewy glow as the name suggests. This wondrous cream is formulated for normal to dry skin, and it effectively addresses dryness, dullness, uneven skin tone– along with softening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by plumping the skin. Bloomeffects is a cruelty-free brand. Purchase Again? Not in the near future because of the number of open jars of face creams in my current rotation, but this is such a lovely cream.

Live Botanical Sanctuary Barrier Balm: This luscious balm has a remarkably emollient light whipped fluffy texture that immediately melts into the skin. It contains a wonderful array of Amazonian butters such as: Murmuru, Tucuma, Ucuuba and Bacuri, that are rich, nourishing and healing anti-inflammatory ingredients. This balm deeply hydrates the skin, it helps to prevent water-loss, it protects, softens, repairs and moisturizes even the most sensitive skins. It contains no essential oils, and has no detectable aroma. This wondrous balm can also we used as an overnight mask, and it is miraculous in its ability to heal and rejuvenate the skin. Purchase Again? I have too many skin balms open, and can't justify purchasing another one, but this would be at the top of my list, if I was ready to purchase another one!

Siam Seas Reservoir Probiotic Skin Fortifying Beauty Mist: This delectably aromatic mist was created to hydrate the skin as well as to help maintain hydration. It can be used alone when additional hydration is desired, or as a delivery vehicle that helps balms and oils sink into the skin more deeply. It is formulated in a base of Linden & Roman Chamomile Hydrosols that calm irritated, red skin effectively and efficiently. The aroma is informed by sweet flowers, citrus, a touch of mint and a woodsy undercurrent that is calming, soothing and utterly hypnotic. Purchase Again? YES!

Sisley Paris Sisleya Eye and Lip Contour Cream | Review

After having loved, and used, Sisley Paris Eye Contour Mask (Reviewed HERE) for more than 3 1/2 years I decided to make the luxury splurge and purchase Sisley Paris Sisleya Eye and Lip Contour Cream. I had been contemplating this purchase for a long time, and it was the price that held me back. However, my love of their Eye Contour Mask, coupled with the fact that many retailers are currently offering a complimentary limited edition Ridoki Massage Applicator Massage Tool with the purchase, made me decide to take the plunge.

The cream, which is touted as an effective anti-aging product, is formulated to treat the delicate areas around the eyes and mouth, and this immediately appealed to me because of its claims to soften the appearance of fine lines, to reduce under eye puffiness and its ability to treat dark circles.

I have some fine lines, but it was really the need to treat dark circles and under eye puffiness that I have sought to treat. While I would neither characterize my dark circles and under eye puffiness as extreme, by any means, they both occur whenever I don't get enough sleep (which is quite often). I work very long hours, sit in Los Angeles traffic commuting for what seems like incalculable amounts of time on a daily basis, and often continue to work when I finally return home. The outcome is that I often don't get enough sleep, and when that happens I often wake up with dark circles and under eye puffiness, and therefore this eye cream and this Ridoki Massage Applicator Massage Tool seemed like a justifiable expense to me.

Sisley asserts that this cream is formulated to fight the visible signs "genetic and environmental aging" that is supposed to be associated with "personal lifestyle." If, by this, they mean my aforementioned lack of sleep and the subsequent dark circles and under eye puffiness that it causes, then I back the veracity of their statements.

The cream, itself, is rather thick and not nearly as emollient as one might expect. That is not to say that it isn't nourishing and moisturizing because it offers an abundance of both of these attributes. Instead, it is thick and fast absorbing, and therefore it leaves behind no greasy residue whatsoever, and it incidentally serves as a perfect base for concealers. At once I note that my eyes are very hydrated, but it also seems to lift and firm the skin as well (without any pulling or discomfort). Unlike many eye creams, this one is also suitable for the upper eyelids and it firms their appearance. I do not have crepey eyelids, but I imagine that this would be deemed effective for those who do.

The big question, for me, is whether this cream lives up to its claims to treat under eye puffiness and dark circles, since this is why I made this extravagant purchase, and the answer is yes– and even more so when used in conjunction with the massage tool. I began testing the cream after a night of very little sleep, and one look in the mirror in the morning was all I needed to determine the necessity of some sort of topical intervention.

Sisley suggests prepping the skin before applying the cream by using the massage tool, and then applying the cream afterward. I have found that I can either use the tool before, during or after the application of the cream, and any of these methods is quite effective for me.

One method that I routinely use involves utilizing little spatula to extract enough cream for both eyes and gently patting it under my eyes and then I roll the cool tip of the massage tool to smooth the skin and press in the remainder of the cream. The cooling metal roller feels delightfully refreshing and exhilarating against the skin, and it is even more effective if it has been cooled in the refrigerator.  Remarkably it radically reduces puffiness, and leaves eyes looking soft, smooth, supple, hydrated, luminous and thoroughly de-puffed. It likewise lightens the appearance of dark circles, but that seemed to work a little more gradually for me– with a more cumulative effect after using it for a longer period of time.

As to whether or not it works to contour the lip area and make lips appear "reshaped and visibly more defined"– I just don't know, I have not used it for my lips, and have no need to treat that area for the aforementioned reasons. Furthermore, this is an expensive product and I don't want to waste it where it is not needed.

AN ANTI-WRINKLE AND FIRMING ACTION
Persian Acacia and Lindera extracts, combined with Yeast and Soy Protein Complex, contribute to re-energizing the eye contour and reducing wrinkles and fine lines for a visibly fresher and more youthful look. Enriched with Soy peptide extract, this formula firms the upper eyelids for eyes that look redefined and wider, as if opened up. The vertical lines above the lips, an area particularly influenced by behavioral factors (smoking, sun, etc.), are visibly smoother.

ANTI-PUFFINESS AND ANTI-DARK CIRCLE ACTION
The combination of plant-based expert key ingredients, including Atlas Cedar extract and Pomegranate fermented extract, helps to lighten the blue and brown coloration of dark circles: the eyes look visibly brighter. Finally, Passion Fruit extract works to reduce puffiness.

Directions: Apply morning and evening along the eye contour area, eyelids and the contours of the lips. Prepare the eye and lip area prior to applying the cream by utilizing the cool-tip massage tool. Smooth above the eyebrow and over the eyelid and below the eye, always using a motion away from the inner eye. Also, smooth around the mouth area above the lips, using a motion from the center of the mouth to the outer edges. Use gentle, light pressing motions around the entire eyelid and below the eye area to support microcirculation. Gently move the massage tool in a zigzag pattern between the brows and under the eye area to help de-puff. Use a gentle back-and-forth motion between the eyebrow, along the outer corners of the eye and above the lip to smooth wrinkles.

Overall Assessment: I suppose the real question is whether or not I need this. Well, of course not, but its efficacy in diminishing my under eye puffiness and dark circles made this a very sensible purchase for me. While I wish that it was less expensive, I have found that the cream is concentrated enough that I only need to use a very small amount, and therefore I imagine that this jar will last me quite a long time. Furthermore, the inclusion of the Ridoki Massage Applicator Massage Tool made this purchase feel even more justifiable. I have used this massage tool with a wide variety of eye creams and serums, and I will continue to use it long after I have finished this eye cream. 

Would I repurchase this eye cream? Yes, based upon my experience it has proven to be a great purchase. However, by the time that I finish this jar I might have discovered something else. Do you need it? Of course not, but if you have issues with puffiness and dark circles– then I think that you will be equally amazed by its efficacy. Plus if you purchase it with the complimentary Ridoki Massage Applicator Massage Tool, then you are in for a serious treat. A+

While there are excellent oils at all price points, there are likewise mediocre oils across the spectrum. What separates the  superior luxury oils from the rest has not only to do with the quality of the ingredient used, but also how well those oils work together. The Top 14 Luxury Face Oils in 2014

When my friend wefadetogray, a woman with an unquenchable predilection for luxury beauty oils equal to mine, asked me to come up with my top ten list– I struggled to narrow down my selection. Then it occurred to me that if I was to choose the top facial oils of 2014 that I should choose fourteen instead of ten. 

You will note that I have listed them alphabetically, rather than in any sort of order of preference. As you can clearly see, Aftelier Perfumes and African Botanics are both well represented with more than a single beauty oil selected. The reason for this is quite simple: these two companies produce among the very finest quality luxury oils on the market, and there was no way to select a single oil. It is not an issue of brand loyalty as much as it is my desire to present you with what I find to be absolutely exceptional quality luxury beauty oils that truly stand out in a vast sea of beauty oils. Furthermore, it hardly requires mention that beauty oils are currently very much in vogue, and as a result everyone seems to be trying to get their piece of this over-saturated market. The playing field is hardly level, and while there are excellent beauty oils, unsullied by subpar ingredients, it should also be noted that there are plenty of mediocre ones from the most costly luxury versions to the least expensive mass marketed varieties. 

After carefully scrutinizing my large collection, here are the standouts:  

1) Aesop Damascan Rose Facial Treatment (reviewed here): Aesop's Damascan Rose Facial Treatment is a deeply nourishing and moisturizing face oil that will do wonders for dry and/or distressed skin, but it has also done incredible things for my normal/combination skin as well. It is a very concentrated, vitamin infused treatment oil that serves as a potent remedy for skin that needs intense hydration, but is so gentle and nourishing that my skin happily drinks it up and is left soft, supple, glowing, balanced, and very moisturized. I only need a couple of drops that I warm between my hands before massaging it into my slightly damp and warm face, neck and décolleté. It sinks in immediately and effortlessly, and it has an intoxicatingly hypnotic warm earthy rose scent that simply delights the senses. It is neither too rich for my skin, nor has it caused me to break out in the least. It just makes my skin look and feel amazing.

Ingredients: Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Tocopherol, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Seed Oil, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Flower Oil, Viola Odorata Oil, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract, Beta-Carotene, Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalool, d-Limonene, Farnesol, Eugenol.

2) African Botanics Neroli Infused Marula Oil (reviewed here): There is something magical about Neroli Infused Marula Oil from the feather light texture to the sweet and understated smell of the Neroli. It is a thin potent oil that immediately sinks in and gets right to work. According to African Botanics, "Marula Oil is lightweight and quick-absorbing, but at the time is very nourishing, thanks to the Omega 9 content of the oil (70% - 80%). It is the fastest way to deliver essential nutrients and vitamins to the skin."

As with all luxury oils, I apply African Botanics Neroli Infused Marula Oil to warm and damp freshly cleansed skin. The added slip from the water facilitates quick absorption followed my an immediate radiance and glow. Every single time that I apply this lovely oil (which is quite often) I note that my skin reveals a newfound clarity and evenness of tone. There is an unmistakable luminosity that is so obvious and pronounced that I have been receiving so many comments about how beautiful, clear and glowing my skin is- followed by "what are you using, and did you get a peel or something- your skin is gorgeous!" This is truly the nectar of the gods. Furthermore, the price is amazing-- particularly since most luxury oils only provide a single ounce of product and are often far more expensive. This is a must-have for the luxury oil enthusiast!

Ingredients: Sclerocarya birrea (Marula Essential Oil), Citrus aurantium (Neroli Essential Oil).

3) African Botanics Pure Marula Oil (reviewed here): African Botanics Pure Marula Oil is a velvety smooth, fast absorbing lightweight oil that sinks into the skin quickly and effortlessly, and it leaves behind no greasy residue. It has a light, warm, sweet scent that is utterly intoxicating.

4) Aftelier Perfumes Honeysuckle Face Elixir (reviewed here): That Mandy Aftel has raised the bar in the realm of exceptional beauty oils should come as no surprise. Her newest creation, Aftelier Honeysuckle Face Elixir, is less a beauty oil, and more a work of art of exceptional rarity. Indeed, this is perhaps the singular beauty oil against which all other beauty oils will be judged in perpetuity. Aftel describes the Honeysuckle Face Elixir as one that, "features rare honeysuckle absolute from Italy, extracted from the creamy white and yellow trumpet flowers. This sweet heavenly aroma is intoxicating, honeyed, and reminiscent of ripe fruit."

While the top notes reveal the most tantalizing rose that you have ever imagined, it is tempered by a warm depth from the Sandalwood and Frankincense. This is no ordinary rose- it is an intoxicating and titillating scent that reveals an indescribable complexity as it reaches the temperature of the body and melts into the skin. This rose is elegant, sensual, lingering, and utterly addictive. The scent acts as a sweet lullaby urging you to fall into a tranquil slumber when applied at bedtime. The scent is one in which the Jasmine, Neroli and Geranium are tempered by the Frankincense and Evening Primrose– the result of which is a warm rich sweet scent that pleases the senses.

This amalgam of luscious oils is deeply moisturizing, hydrating, calming and nourishing- leaving the skin beautifully luminous and healthy. Additionally, this amazing serum is fortified with highly potent antioxidant rich anti-aging oils that really mean business. The Camellia oil is not only a profoundly calming and soothing oil, but it also does wonders with respect to plumping fine lines- thereby making it a wonderful and hard-working anti-aging treatment.

As is the case with all of my oil-based serums, I apply Aroma M Camellia Face Oil very sparingly to warmly lightly damp freshly cleaned skin. It sinks in immediately and leaves behind a noteworthy glowing complexion. Used morning and/or night you will note a difference in the health and vitality of your skin. Sometimes I even add a drop to my foundation or tinted moisturizer to heighten my luminosity- the results are always stunning!

8) Colbert MD Illumino Face Oil (reviewed here):  The first thing that one notes is that this is no ordinary oil. It has a thin water-like consistency that allows it to sink into the dermis faster, and presumably deeper, than any other oil that I have tried. Therefore, the efficacy of this delivery system is peerless among all of the luxury beauty oils that I have tried. Furthermore, among the ingredients is the brilliant addition of retinol-- thereby making this one of the most advanced anti-aging beauty oils on the market. The result of the advanced technology employed in the creation of this face oil is glowing soft youthful skin. Illumino is an apt name given that skin boasts a luminous glow that appears lit from within.  The difference in the quality of my skin was evident after a single use, no exaggeration. The results were that immediate for me. After prolonged use my skin continues to look better and better (and my skin was in good shape to begin with). This is also the perfect oil for those who remain fearful of using face oils because it is light and thin and sinks in quickly without any of the "oiliness" that make novices to the world of beauty oils uncomfortable. Once you try Illumino Face Oil, you will understand why it has rightfully earned cult-status among beauty oil aficionados. Additionally, once you try it-- you won't ever want to be without it! The scent is a very pleasant light fruity floral that dissipates very quickly, but is deliciously satisfying. This glorious magical face elixir will delight you because of the featherweight texture, but will truly astound you because of the results.

The oils selected by Dr. Colbert create a perfect cocktail that aids in cell repair, improves skin tone and texture, improves elasticity, improves suppleness, improves hydration, bolsters skin barrier function, and deeply nourishes. Additionally, after using this potent miracle in a bottle-- I found that my skin had such a pronounced clarity that I could easily skip wearing a foundation or tinted moisturizer. Some kind of magic is born out of the list of ingredients that were so carefully selected to create the ultimate antioxidant rich anti-aging face oil.

9) evanhealy Rosehip Treatment Facial Oil Rose (reviewed here): As I stated in my Favorite Oils in August post, "Seldom is it that a product makes such an impression on me that it gets heralded as one of my favorites prior to having been thoroughly reviewed, and yet evanhealy Rosehip Treatment Facial Serum Rose is no ordinary face oil. From the moment that I first tried this during my evanhealy mini facial at Pharmaca with Joan Shure...it was clear to me that this remarkably effective beauty oil was indeed quite special." This stunning amber elixir is nothing short of a miraculous achievement in my assessment because it is tremendously lightweight and fast absorbing, but it is likewise among the most nourishing and hydrating oils that I have ever tried. Not only does it It plumps fine lines and fade hyperpigmentation, but it also evens skin tone and balances the skin. Furthermore skin is left with an unmistakable ethereal glow that one comes to expect from the highest quality luxury face oils, but in this case at a fraction of the price, and it does so without sacrificing a thing. It is an utter delight to use, and the heavenly rose scent is just divine.

Their tiny molecular size and lipophilic (oil-loving) tendency make them ideal for curative skin treatments." There is no question that this combination of oils is both profoundly nourishing and  has highly effective healing agents, and one becomes aware of this very quickly given how receptive the skin is to this amazingly potent face oil. Used alone this oil is truly amazing, but used in conjunction with evanhealy Hydrosols the effects are even more glorious!

10) Rodin Olio Lusso Luxury Face Oil (reviewed here):  Rodin created this luxury oil to, "satisfy all her complexion-beauty needs. The result: a perfect potion that is nothing short of amazing! No wonder it’s created a non-stop buzz in the beauty and skincare worlds. Packed with eleven essential oils derived from flowers and other botanicals, this is the ideal liquid moisturizer for anyone seeking a simple solution to hydrated skin and a luminous, light-reflecting complexion. Like magic, it effortlessly melts into complexions that are 'normal,' oily, dry, or any combination thereof, without leaving any greasy residue."

Not only are the contents of each bottle expertly crafted from the finest quality ingredients, but indeed the bottle itself is a luxurious minimalist modern quasi-deco glass bottle that lends itself to display-- particularly so for the aesthete. I deeply appreciate that the glass dropper never dispenses too much oil, as is so often the case with pump dispensers, and when you are talking about something this expensive you certainly don't want to waste any product. That said, what pump dispensers lack in elegance they make up for by maintaining an air-free environment which undoubtedly stretches the shelf life of the contents of the bottle. I store my skincare products in a cool dry cabinet that is not subject to fluctuations in temperature, and that is not exposed to light, and frankly I find this product so addictive and satisfying to use that I highly doubt that there is any chance of it spoiling before I get through the bottle in its entirety. Still, I do think that a pump would have been a more pragmatic choice. Furthermore, I do live in a bit of fear that one of the cats could spontaneously prance or scamper across the counter and knock the bottle over when the dropper was removed during use- which would amount to one seriously expensive prance or scamper.

No wild claims are made that this ultra luxe oil will immediately eradicate the ravages of time, or that it is the ultimate fountain of youth culled from a newly discovered region in some far off exotic land, or  that it will immediately make you appear 10 -20 years younger.  My skin looks clear, bright, rested (even when I am not), even-toned, moisturized, utterly hydrated, and deliciously glowing (not greasy, but lit from within and healthy).

Ingredients: Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Oil, Prunus Amygalus Dulcis (Almond) Oil, Simmondsia Chinesis (jojoba) Oil, Oenothera Biennis (evening Primrose) Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Calendula Offincinalis Flower Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (orange) Flower Oil, Helianthus Annuus (sunflower) Seed Oil, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Benzyl Benzoate, Linalool.

11) Sisley Black Rose Precious Face Oil (full review forthcoming, but mini review found here): Black Rose Precious Face Oil is Sisley’s first skin care oil for dry or mature skin. With a high concentration of active ingredients, this silky-smooth dry oil prepares, and nourishes with an anti-aging effect. 

Rich in omega 3 and 6, it prepares the skin to receive its daily skin care. This oil provides the essential elements for the skin’s vitality and youthfulness with its powerful blend of plant-based active ingredients that nourish, regenerate and protect (Padina pavonica, unsaponifiables of avocado and natural tocopherols). Plum and camelina oils maintain the lipid balance of the epidermis.

Sisley Black Rose Precious Face Oil is an amazing dry oil that is formulated to nourish dry and/or mature skin. While I neither have dry, not mature skin-- I find this to be a miraculous performer! My skin feels like velvet whenever I use this antioxidant rich anti-aging powerhouse luxury oil. Skin is left toned and lifted and fine lines are softened. The scent is a gorgeous refined rose that is intoxicatingly beautiful-- it's so beautiful, in fact, that I periodically find myself opening the bottle to just smell its magnificence! It leaves skin with a noteworthy glow, and it is so nourishing and moisturizing that skin is radically transformed into its best version of itself!

12) själ Saphir Concentrate Anti-Aging Face Oil (reviewed here): This utterly lavish jewel soaked beauty elixir has a feather-light consistency that soaks into the skin quickly, and it immediately imparts a luscious and luminous glow. The scent itself defies easy categorization, though one does detect the delightful citrus notes. I would say that the evocative scent is simultaneously calming and intoxicating, and once I begin using it with regularity the scent began to beckon me. I realize that this sounds a bit crazy, but once this luxury oil gets under your skin it  quickly becomes a highly craved part of one's beauty routine. There is something irresistible about the sensory experience that is only matched by the astounding results of this anti-aging masterpiece.

Skin is immediately brightened and luminous with a pronounced clarity. My skin routinely feels energized upon application, and there is an unmistakable flushing of the skin as this magical oil seems to stimulate increased circulation. My skin is immediately calmed, and my skin-tone immediately appears more even and healthy. Repeated use results in a diminution of fine lines as skin is plumped and elasticity is improved. Skin is left deeply nourished, hydrated and balanced while the aromatherapeutic effects soothe the spirit and quiet the mind. 13) TATCHA Camellia Beauty Oil (reviewed here): TATCHA is among a short list of companies producing luxury niche skincare products of exemplary quality that are so exquisite, elegant and breathtakingly beautiful, down to the most minute detail, that one finds oneself enraptured by the visual and tactile aspects of these lovely gems. The sheer efficacy of their beautiful products is what keeps TATCHA enthusiasts forever loyal to the brand, and it is very easy to see why. 

TATCHA GOLD Camellia Beauty Oil is among those extraordinary beauty oils that quickly distinguishes itself from the many run-of-the-mill oils on the market. 14) The Organic Pharmacy Antioxidant Face Firming Serum (reviewed here): First, it must be said that this beautiful oil has the intoxicating scent of Sweet Orange- therefore upon application you are assured of a magnificent and visceral sensory experience. This brilliant concoction boasts a high concentration of the powerful Alpha Lipoic Acid, a known powerful antioxidant, that helps to prevent cell damage by scavenging free-radicals. The high concentration of Rose Hip Oil is rich in transretinoic acid and essential fatty acids, and is clinically proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and also helps to reduce scarring over time. Sweet Orange helps prevent capillary fragility, and Carrots are rich in Beta Carotene (part of the Vitamin A family), and are rich antioxidants that protects the skin against free-radicals. I would describe this oil as one that stimulates circulation because my skin has the type of radiance that is not superficial, but one instead that causes my skin to have a rosy radiance as though lit from within. The difference is so noticeable, that whenever I use it people comment on how gorgeous, glowing and beautiful my skin is.
