If excessive time online, and in Zoom meetings, has shown me one thing, it is the extent to which stress, lack of sleep and too much screen time makes for puffiness and dark circles under my eyes. Therefore, my most used device these days is undoubtedly the FOREO IRIS™ Illuminating Eye Massager. While the stress and screen time isn't likely to change in the foreseeable future, at least this device does an exemplary job mitigating the effects of under eye puffiness and dark circles. 

This brilliant device was conceived to reduce the appearance of "under-eye puffiness, dark circles, crow’s feet and fine lines while improving the absorption of creams and serums." It gently massages the delicate skin around the eyes (not to be used on the eye lids or anywhere near the eye balls) and it improves the appearance of the overall eye contour. The ergonomic design fits perfectly in-hand and in the curves above and below your eyes. The alternating T-Sonic technology massages the skin, which reduces puffiness, and it effectively facilitates the absorption, and therefore efficacy, of eye creams and serums. When I use the FOREO IRIS™ Illuminating Eye Massager in the morning and night I notice a radical reduction in the puffiness and dark circles. Plus, the T-Sonic Pulsations are hypnotic and ultra-relaxing. You do not need to apply any pressure, but instead allow the device do all of the work for you. Plus, it is so easy to us, and it only takes a minute to do both eyes.

MODE SELECT:

You can adjust the intensities of the IRIS’s Pure and Spa Modes by using the “+” or “–“ buttons.

CHARGING:

• Insert the charger into a USB charging port. The IRISTM’s LED will flash repeatedly to indicate the battery is charging. When it is fully charged (after approximately 1 hour), the LED will emit a steady glow.

• When the battery is running low, the LED on your IRISTM will emit a blinking white light.

Overall Assessment: This is the best discovery that I have made to combat the appearance of under-eye puffiness and dark circles. I reach for this wonderful device once or twice daily, and I really look forward to using it every single day. A+

FOREO BEAR Smart Microcurrent Facial Toning Device is an easy to use ergonomic facial toning device that is as effective as it is fun to use. It comes in two sizes, the full size BEAR ($299.00) and the BEAR Mini ($199.00), and I think that the FOREO BEAR is the perfect size for regular use. The FOREO has more settings and features than the Mini, but if you travel a lot and want to save some money, the the Mini might be the best choice for you.

Microcurrent devices are heralded for their ability to tone, firm and lift aging skin and muscles. They also stimulate the muscles, hence this is why you often hear people state that they are like a visit to the gym for the face. However, these types of devices do not offer permanent results, therefore in order to maintain the effects one must continue to use the device.

The FOREO BEAR transmits a microcurrent directly to the skin, through a conducting gel, or the FOREO Serum Serum Serum, and microcurrent devices should never be used on bare skin. Furthermore, one should always use a conducting gel or serum specifically made for this purpose. Often touted as an at-home face lift, microcurrent devices make the skin look and feel refreshed, rejuvenated and more youthful. FOREO BEAR has T-Sonic Pulses that help to improve circulation, which in turn helps to eliminate toxins. After use skin looks smoother, softer, lifted, luminous and more youthful.

FOREO BEAR can be used once a day (AM or PM), but I only use it a couple of times a week for a few minutes. I do not have many fine lines, but the few that I do have become far less visible when I use this device. I only use it on my face, and avoid using it on my neck, but my skin looks smoother, my fine lines are visibly diminished and my skin is lightly plumped and decidedly radiant. Overall, this is one seriously effective device!

When you first unpack your FOREO BEAR, you will need to download the FOREO App on your phone to register and unlock your device, and then you will need to charge it. It is very easy to do, and registering only takes a few minutes. Additionally, you activate your 2 year warranty when you register your device.

Directions:

1) Dry your BEAR then clean & dry your face carefully so there is no remaining residue. (Any oil on your face will deflect the microcurrent, making it ineffective.) Massage SERUM SERUM SERUM over all the areas you wish to treat until fully absorbed.

2) Press the button to activate BEAR’s microcurrent. The lights beneath the button indicate the microcurrent intensity. To change the intensity, quick-press the button once for each level. FOREO LUNA 2 (Full Review HERE. (Black Friday Special from FOREO $139.30 Regularly $199.00): I love a great facial cleansing brush, and by far, my favorite has been the FOREO LUNA (Reviewed HERE). I actually didn't think that I could find something better than my LUNA for Sensitive/Normal Skin, but when FOREO launched their LUNA 2 line I was proven wrong. If you had told me a year ago that FOREO would be launching the LUNA 2, I would have said why mess with perfection, but they clearly knew what they were doing because the new design is even better than the original.

The LUNA 2 is available in four specialized designs to more precisely meet the needs of combination skin, normal skin, oily skin and sensitive skin.

FOREO ISSA Hybrid Toothbrush (Reviewed HERE): There is no question that it's very important to find an effective toothbrush that can effectively clean teeth and gums, and electronic sonic toothbrushes definitely have a tendency to do a better job of cleaning than standard manual toothbrushes. I have used a wide variety of electric toothbrushes over the years, but I was the most excited about trying the FOREO ISSA HYBRID SONIC TOOTHBRUSH. I love the innovative modern design, the ergonomic handle for comfortable use and the combination of gentle silicone bristles that surround the inner core of PBT polymer bristles.

The silicone bristles gently and effectively clean gums while the combination of silicone bristles and PBT polymer bristles do a remarkable job cleaning my teeth. On the back of the brush one finds a series of raised ridges that were specifically designed to clean the tongue, and it does so quite effectively and efficiently because of their shape in conjunction with the sonic vibration.

I use my FOREO ISSA HYBRID SONIC TOOTHBRUSH in Lavender every single day, except when I am traveling light, and I can say that it is gentle enough so as not to be rough on my teeth, gums and tongue, but powerful enough to thoroughly clean without stripping, and it does a formidable job removing plaque, whitening my teeth and leaving my mouth feeling exceedingly well cleaned. I use a variety of toothpastes from the whitening variety to normal drugstore brands, and the end result is consistently high performing.
