FOREO LUNA (Reviewed
HERE). I actually didn't think that I could find something better than my LUNA for Sensitive/Normal Skin, but when FOREO launched their LUNA 2 line I was proven wrong. If you had told me a year ago that FOREO would be launching the LUNA 2, I would have said why mess with perfection, but they clearly knew what they were doing because the new design is even better than the original.
The LUNA 2 is available in four specialized designs to more precisely meet the needs of combination skin, normal skin, oily skin and sensitive skin.
The efficacy of this cleaning device is possible because the LUNA 2 features 8,000 Transdermal Sonic (T-Sonic) pulsations per 2 minutes at 2X the power, and because it delivers the deepest cleaning possible while remaining very gentle on the skin. In fact, the touch points are even softer in the new generation LUNA 2 models making them more gentle on the skin that the original LUNA.
The LUNA 2 boasts 12 customizable intensities that allows you to alter the intensity depending on the needs of your skin at any given moment. Furthermore, when utilizing the anti-aging side of the LUNA 2, their lower-frequency pulsations specifically target the wrinkle prone areas of the face, and smooth and firm the appearance of the skin.

Unlike cleaning devices with removable brush heads, that only clean the face, the LUNA is an ingenious two-sided sonic cleaner that offers added functionality. The brush cleaning surface effectively and efficiently cleans the face, but it also features a visionary Anti-Aging Surface that treats wrinkle-prone tension spots.
The pragmatic design, which altogether eliminates the need for a removable brush-head that has to be replaced every few months, eliminates the same level of cleaning to remove bacteria buildup from the device itself.
I also find that the LUNA'S cleaning surface, comprised of the rounded silicone touch points offer a more efficient means of cleaning the skin. For instance, the Clarisonic has longer bristles that keep the base of the cleaner at a greater distance from the skin, and its pulsations are more diffused by its brush. Conversely, the LUNA 2's T-Sonic Pulsations are transferred directly from the base unit to the face without this greater distance between the base and the tips of the bristles.
The LUNA 2 offers a built-in massage because of its intimate proximity to the skin, and the direct transfer of the full intensity of the T-Sonic Pulsations– even when using the Cleaning Surface instead of the Anti-Aging Surface.

HERE): There is no question that it's very important to find an effective toothbrush that can effectively clean teeth and gums, and electronic sonic toothbrushes definitely have a tendency to do a better job of cleaning than standard manual toothbrushes. I have used a wide variety of electric toothbrushes over the years, but I was the most excited about trying the
FOREO ISSA HYBRID SONIC TOOTHBRUSH. I love the innovative modern design, the ergonomic handle for comfortable use and the combination of gentle silicone bristles that surround the inner core of PBT polymer bristles.
The silicone bristles gently and effectively clean gums while the combination of silicone bristles and PBT polymer bristles do a remarkable job cleaning my teeth. On the back of the brush one finds a series of raised ridges that were specifically designed to clean the tongue, and it does so quite effectively and efficiently because of their shape in conjunction with the sonic vibration.
I use my FOREO ISSA HYBRID SONIC TOOTHBRUSH in Lavender every single day, except when I am traveling light, and I can say that it is gentle enough so as not to be rough on my teeth, gums and tongue, but powerful enough to thoroughly clean without stripping, and it does a formidable job removing plaque, whitening my teeth and leaving my mouth feeling exceedingly well cleaned. I use a variety of toothpastes from the whitening variety to normal drugstore brands, and the end result is consistently high performing.
I have not tried the all silicone brush head that FOREO makes, but the FOREO ISSA HYBRID is definitely my preference since I find that the silicone bristles alone don't provide enough friction for my liking when it comes to cleaning my teeth. I really like for my teeth to feel ultra clean, and for me the inner core of PBT polymer bristles provide the requisite degree of tension against the teeth to remove food particles, stains and plaque.
