Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream is an emollient gel cream, from this wonderful K-Beauty brand, that is ultra-lightweight and that immediately melts into the skin. It contains Niacinimide that reduces the appearance of dark spots and blemishes, but it is for all types of skin, not just people who are acne prone. It leaves skin soft, moisturized and radiant.

The Hyaluronic Acid provides deep and sustained hydration, and gently plumps fine lines. It is filled with soothing ingredients, such as Panthenol, that calm irritated skin– including breakouts. My skin isn't prone to acne, but it can get irritated, and this wonderful moisturizer really calms it down when my skin is reactive. I will also say that it is such a wonderful daily moisturizer during the summer since it is lightweight and thoroughly hydrating.

TIRTIR Ceramic Light Moisturizer is a nourishing light cream that is very hydrating, fast-absorbing and soothing. It was created for oily and combination skin types, and because it boasts a non-comedogenic formula it is also an excellent choice for acne prone skin. Rich in Hyaluronic Acid and ceramides, this hydrating formula provides sustained hydration without leaving behind a sticky or greasy film. The soothing formula also combats redness and irritation while pampering the skin. I have normal to combination skin (in my t-zone), and I have found this to be an effective light moisturizer during the warm weather. If you have oily, combination or acne-prone skin, this is a wonderful gentle moisturizer worthy of your consideration.

I am such a huge fan of French Pharmacy skincare products, and have been as long as I can remember. Avène Cicalfate+ Restorative Protective Cream is one of my most recent discoveries, and what a discovery it has proven to be.

Avène Cicalfate+ Restorative Protective Cream is rich, nourishing cream that is formulated to restore and protect the skin, and this gentle and fragrance-free formula calms irritated skin, moisturizes dry skin and leaves it supple and luminous. It is a very concentrated cream, and therefore only a small amount is needed to achieve the desired results. It has a cocooning effect as it envelopes the skin, and it feels really wonderful. If you receive your bottle and the cream has separated, and liquid comes out, vigorously shake it for a while so that the ingredients can reintegrate. While I have normal to combination skin, this cream is not too rich for my skin, and during the winter months when my skin was dehydrated, it worked wonders in its ability to restore moisture.

Rothea Resilience Cream 2 Months Later

I had never heard of Rothea before I started using it in toward the end 2024. When I received the Rothea Resilience Cream I didn't know what to expect, but I was so impressed by it that I decided that I thought that I should follow up about my experience two months after my December review.

Rothea Resilience Cream is a nourishing cream, made without fragrances, dyes or known irritants. This cruelty-free cream, which is made in Korea, is non-comedogenic and it is formulated for all types of skin– including sensitive skin. This thick and luxuriously emollient cream melts into the skin leaving it soft, smooth, luminous, deeply moisturized and supple. Rather than using Retinol as a potent anti-aging ingredient, Rothea uses Bakuchiol which is touted as an alternative to Retinol. The Hyaluronic Acid retains hydration and plumps fine lines. It is formulated to deeply moisturize the skin, to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and over time it promises to reduce hyperpigmentation. Unlike Retinol, which can be drying and cause the skin to become red, irritated, and often makes it peel, this gentle formula works without irritating the skin. In the two months since my December 2024 review, I have noticed that my skin is consistently hydrated, fine lines are more plump, the small dry patch on my chin has disappeared and the small spot of sun damage (hyperpigmentation) on my cheek is noticeably lighter. I am very impressed by the efficacy of this cream, and it is nice to see an effective product without an exorbitant price tag.

The charming cloud-shaped container puts a smile on my face each time I reach for this cream. The brightening formula leaves skin luminous, and the antioxidant-rich formula protects skin from free-radical damage. Furthermore, it leaves skin soft, smooth, hydrated and supple. I do not detect a scent, though the ingredients do list fragrance.

While my skin is decidedly normal/combination, this beautiful facial cream offers the perfect amount of moisture without being too rich, or in the least bit greasy. MyChelle Dermaceuticals Hydrate Deep Repair Cream is an antioxidant-rich deeply nourishing and hydrating cream that is formulated to rejuvenate the skin, plump fine lines and improve the overall appearance of the skin. I find it incredibly effective for my normal skin with an active t-zone, and think that it is perfect for the cold weather. It is a rich and thick ultra-emollient cream that is concentrated, therefore only a tiny bit is required for big results. It sinks into the skin quickly, and without leaving behind a greasy residue. It leaves my skin soft, deeply moisturized and glowing. This cream should work for most skin types, and anyone seeking deep hydration.

It has a lightweight consistency, and it immediately melts into the skin without leaving behind a greasy residue. It is formulated for all skin types, and it offers superior and sustained moisture. Andalou Naturals Multi-Correction Cream Marine Collagen + Hyaluronic Acid is a dry skin savior! While I do not normally have dry skin, my skin gets quite dry and dehydrated in the cold weather, and as a result I often use richer creams during the late fall and winter months. This cream is lightweight, but substantial in its emollience, and it melts right into the skin and it doesn't leave behind a greasy residue. Dry patches quickly give way to soft, supple and moisturized skin, and my whole face looks silky-smooth and radiant. Furthermore, the Hyaluronic Acid retains hydration and plumps fine lines. While fragrance is listed among its ingredients, albeit at the bottom of the list, there really isn't much of a detectable aroma. There is a slight fresh sensibility, but once it melts into the skin there is nothing that can be detected.
