Ingredients and Their Attributes:

Camellia Oil: Camellia oil has been a Japanese beauty secret for centuries, and considered to be so
beneficial and valuable that has become a symbol of wealth, virtue and happiness. It is
made from cold pressed Japanese camellia (Tsubaki) buds, which is a member of the tea
family. It is very lightweight and absorbs well. Camellia oil is lighter than oils such as
shea butter and jojoba, and is hypoallergenic and will not clog skin pores. It is a superb
daily moisturizer and emollient, protecting skin from chafing and drying out, and
replenishes vital nutrients, as it offers a variety of healing, nourishing and stimulating
properties to purify and protect the skin. It restores skin's pH balance and shields skin
from penetration of environmental pollutants. It acts as a natural sun block by forming a
barrier against harmful UV rays. For men, Camellia oil is an excellent skin conditioner
after shaving. Shaving is an exfoliate and may leave skin dry and sensitive. With regular
application, the skin will be moisturized and nourished. Its soothing qualities aid in
preventing irritations and shaving burns.

Prickly Pear Seed Oil: Known as the “Miracle Plant” is able to survive with very little water and still produce healthy fruit. The Prickly Pear Cactus contains small black seeds, from which the oil is
extracted. It is extremely high in essential fatty acids, Omega 6 and 9, and the natural
antioxidant vitamin E. It is also rich in amino acids, which stimulate collagen production
to promote faster cell turnover. It also contains vitamin k, which brightens under-eye dark
circles and also promotes your skin’s elasticity. It’s great for all skin types, especially for
mature skin. Our Cactus Seeds oil is extracted during a very time-consuming and
laborious procedure taking around 36 hours, manually handled by Moroccan women at a
cooperative. 8 tones of cactus pears are needed to production.

Rice Bran Oil: Rice bran oil is rich in Vitamin E and fatty acids and is able to deeply penetrate into the skin’s layers, nourishing from within, making your skin very soft and velvety. It
improves skin’s elasticity, making it appear more youthful and plump and hydrates the
skin and helps it to retain moisture, making the skin smooth. It has anti-inflammatory
properties that can help sooth and calm down irritated skin. It protects the skin from
external aggressions such as wind, cold and polluted city environments, and can protect
the skin from harmful sun damage, working as a natural sun block.

Golden Jojoba Oil: Jojoba oil naturally heals skin damage with its beneficial stimulating and purifying properties. It is wonderfully effective in sustaining the skin’s natural moisture as needed
to prevent dryness. The extract of the seeds mimics the natural oil produced by
sebaceous glands in the skin and is absorbs quickly to impart a velvety finish.

Apricot Kernel Oil: Sought out for its high vitamin E content and skin softening properties, apricot kernel oil is known for its ability to penetrate the skin without leaving an oily feel. Organic apricot
kernel oil contains natural vitamins A and E, which soothe the skin and slow signs of
aging. It helps rehydrate dry skin.

Evening Primrose Oil: Evening Primrose Oil rejuvenates tired and aging skin, and is especially gently refreshing for tired skin around the eyes. It will soothe and help to remove redness and minor

excellent for increasing the elasticity of skin. It strengthens skin’s protein bonding

irritation and oversensitivity, and quickly heals scratches on the skin. Argan oil is equally
good for both dry and oily skin, because it regulates and normalizes the secretion of
sebum and keeps it to a manageable level.

Moroccan Beldi Rose Essential Oil: Known as the Queen of Flower Oils, Moroccan Rose oil is one of the world's most expensive and revered essential oils. We discovered this fragrant Beldi Moroccan Rose oil on our adventure in Tangier. Stunning and exotic, it combines healing and soothing
properties. This heady sweet and floral fragrance is one to make you swoon.

Egyptian Rose Essential Oil: Extremely rich, deep, warm, honeyed true velvety rose aroma with a hint of spice. A hydrating antioxidant that refines skin, treats acne, reduces redness and inflammation.

Frankincense Essential Oil: Frankincense is a powerfully beneficial and fragrant skin rejuvenator. It is antiseptic and anti-inflammatory and can balance oily or dry skin. It improves skin's tone and texture and speeds healing and is helpful with acne, and blemishes. It can reduce the appearance

Empties Post Volume LVIII: October and November 2017

I was so busy at work during the month of October that I couldn't find the time to do my monthly empties post, therefore I combined it with my November feature. As is usually the case, it is the products in my shower that get used the most, but it is also the mostly-used products that I leave out in plain sight to ensure that I actually finish them up before moving on to the next like-product.

Malin + Goetz Grapefruit Face Cleanser: When I use this cleanser, I find that my skin and pores are cleaned thoroughly without being stripped of their natural oils. My skin neither feels squeaky clean, nor does it feel tight and uncomfortable after use. I neither find the smell of the grapefruit to be overwhelming, nor do I find it too harsh. My skin simply felt deliciously fresh and clean. I have decidedly normal/combination skin with an active T-zone, and while I think this is well suited for combination and oilier skin types I have serious questions as to whether people with drier  or sensitive skin types will find this product too astringent. I suspect that the exfoliating effects of the grapefruit extract may be too active for those with dry and/or sensitive skin (at least for use on a daily basis). Would I use this again? Yes, definitely. It is a wonderful cleanser for my normal/combination skin.

KORRES Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser: This is a luscious soap-free cleanser that starts as a cream, but transforms into a superbly luxurious foam.  It is very concentrated, therefore only a tiny bit is needed for exceptional results. Skin is neither stripped, nor left taut and uncomfortable, but instead it is rendered soft, supple and hydrated. It has a delicious warm, floral aroma that is delightful. It works well alone, or with your favorite cleansing device. Would I use this again? Absolutely!

Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel: This is a very gentle non-foaming gel cleanser that removes every trace of makeup. It has a light clean scent that reminds me of the smell of lots of aloe vera based products that I have used, but that is not among the listed ingredients. This hardworking cleanser lifts dead skin, oil, dirt, and makeup, but does so without stripping the skin.  After use my skin is left unbelievably clean, silky and soft. If you believe that your skin will only get truly clean from using a foaming or lathering cleanser- then be prepared for a paradigm shift! Would I use this again? Absolutely, I already have another bottle!

Arbonne RE9 Intensive Renewal Serum is a lightweight and fast-absorbing anti-aging serum that is formulated to hydrate, firm, lift, and soften the appearance of fine lines. It leaves my skin soft, supple, hydrated and fine lines are noticeably softened and plumped. It has the light orange aroma that, while delectable, fades as soon as it is absorbed. Would I use it again? I definitely would, but I am currently swimming in serums and am in too hurry to purchase more at this time.

emerginC Scientific Organics Peptide Booster Serum: This antioxidant-rich, active peptide-filled serum is truly obsession-worthy. It fights free radical damage, softens and plumps fine lines, brightens, firms and deeply moisturizes the skin.  Furthermore, skin is left soft, silky-smooth and luminous. I was actually sad when I finished the bottle, and that doesn't often happen because I have so many products in rotation! Would I use it again? YES! Once I need another serum, this one will be replaced!

Seabuck Wonders Himalayan Sea Buckthorn Facial Cream: What a truly glorious moisturizer this is! It is very moisturizing and nourishing, and yet very fast absorbing. It leaves skin soft, supple, hydrated and rejuvenated. Furthermore, it is has a delectable orange oil aroma that is uplifting, and yet it isn't in the least bit overpowering. This is an exceedingly affordable eco-skincare product that is definitely worthy of your consideration. Would I use it again? Yes, and I just opened another bottle, in fact!

Derma-E Essentials Microdermabrasion Scrub: This exfoliator suspends tiny, and densely populated, exfoliating particles in a creamy base that has enough grit to sweep away dead skin cells effortlessly. The formula is gentle, effective, and non-stripping. Skin is left soft, silky smooth, supple and refreshed. It is a very concentrated formula– therefore this 2 oz. jar should last a very long time unless you are using it on your face and body. It can also be used on your hands, elbows, heels knees– or anywhere you need to exfoliate rough skin. It has a very light aroma with a slight hint of citrus, but it isn't in the least bit cloying or long-lasting. Would I use it again? Yes, and I just opened another jar!

African Botanics Pure Marula Oil: This is a velvety smooth, fast absorbing lightweight oil that sinks into the skin quickly and effortlessly, and it leaves behind no greasy residue. It has a light, warm, sweet scent that is utterly intoxicating.

This antioxidant rich formula is not only a highly effective anti-aging serum, but also a great vitamin and amino acid rich formula that promotes healing and calming of the skin. It is a luxurious moisturizer that immediately plumps, hydrates and balances the skin. Skin is rendered velvety soft, supple, smooth, lifted and hydrated. Motives Facial Wipes: These were definitely effective wipes, but I have so many wipes to use that it will be quite a long time before I need to purchase more. Would I use it again? Probably, but I am in no rush.

Aroma Foundry Lavender Essential Oil: This is one of the most lovely lavender essential oils that I have ever tried. In fact, its silky smooth aroma retains all of the finest qualities associated with high quality lavender, while having none of the pungency that some of the lower quality oils feature. I feel as though I am standing in a lavender field each time I smell this lovely oil. Would I use it again? Absolutely!

Assorted Savvy Travelers Wipes:

In the Klear ($10.00 for 10 wipes from Savvy Travelers, Savvy Travelers Amazon Store and Nordstrom): In the Klear wipes are lint-free, and therefore perfect for cleaning the lens on your phone, camera, screens and glasses.

Speak Eazy ($2.50-$10.00 from Savvy Travelers): These are breath freshening wipes that can also clean food from your teeth– what a clever idea!

Klean Upz ($10.00 for 10 wipes from Savvy Travelers and Nordstrom): These are very convenient hand wipes that keep your hands clean and moisturized. I always carry a couple packets in my purse! Would I use it again? I still have quite a few of each of their wipes, but I would definitely buy more for traveling.

Farmhouse Fresh Rosemary-Mint Gourmet Mineral Bath Soak: Who among us couldn't use a good soak during the stressful holiday season?! This invigorating soak, with its Rosemary and Mint oils, awakens and soothes the skin and senses, and it lets all of your tensions melt away. This is a perfect hostess gift! Would I use it again? YES! I need to purchase more!

Kneipp Pure Bliss Red Poppy & Hemp Bath Salts: These beautiful bath salts relax the mind and body allowing stress to melt away– creating a pronounced sense of well-being. The natural oils hydrate the skin, and the lovely earthy aroma smells heavenly. Would I use it again? Yes, absolutely.

Kai Body Wash: I love all things Kai, and this body wash is among my very favorite body washes of all time. The beautiful white floral aroma is intoxicatingly beautiful and ultra feminine, and this cleanser thoroughly cleans without stripping the skin. Would I use it again? Yes, yes, yes!

Dove Gentle Exfoliating Beauty Bar: I am a huge fan of exfoliating soaps that are gentle, effective and do not strip the skin. This bar effectively exfoliates dead skin cells, but leaves the skin soft, smooth and never in the least bit stripped. Would I use it again? Yes, I am already using another bar!

CeraVe Hydrating Cleanse Bar: If you love rich and creamy bar soaps that are hydrating, gentle and non-stripping, then this one is a real treat to use. This fragrance-free bar achieves an emollient lather that feels wonderful against the skin, and rinses clean without any sort of residue. Would I use it again? Yes.

Farmhouse Fresh Big Bare Whipped Shea Butter Body Polish: I am absolutely obsessed with high quality body exfoliators, and I am particularly captivated by this one! It has a delicious fruity floral scent that is punctuated by a touch of spicy licorice, and it is an absolute treat to the senses as it blossoms when exposed to warm water and skin. It effectively and gently removes dead skin cells to reveal soft, supple and hydrated skin. The sugar crystals dissolve while the Shea Butter melts into the skin providing superior moisture. Unlike many body scrubs that are suspended in oils or butters, this remarkable scrub washes clean leaving behind no greasy residue. Would I use it again? Yes, absolutely!

Dove Shower Foam Shea Butter and Warm Vanilla Foaming Body Wash: This creamy and delectably aromatic cleanser thoroughly cleans without stripping and it leaves skin soft and moisturized. I love this so much that I even use it to shave my legs and underarms. Would I use it again? Yes, it is on my shopping list.

Molton Brown Eucalyptus Body Wash: I am such a huge fan of Molton Brown Body Washes, lotions and creams that it is no surprised that I loved this sample for travel. It is such a treat to the senses, and skin is never stripped. Would I use it again? Yes, absolutely!

Vermont Soap Castile Liquid Soap with Aloe & Olive Oil in Lemongrass Zen: Castile soap is such a wonderful multi-purpose cleanser that can be used to clean your house, your dishes, your laundry, your vehicles and yourself! Lemongrass Zen is utterly delectable and leaves everything smelling fresh and clean. Would I use it again? Yes, without question!

Savon Passion Flower & Coconut Soap: I do not think that this glorious soap is made any longer, but I coveted it down to the very last use. It was moisturizing and smelled delectable. Would I use it again? Yes, and I would but every bar that I could find if it were still available somewhere!

Glow for a Cause Body Butter in Wish: This is a rich, thick and ultra-creamy body butter that is very moisturizing. It is quite concentrated, and therefore a little goes a long way. I apply it to warm damp skin right after the shower, and it leaves my skin soft, supple and very moisturized. While the notes are light florals, white tea, Bergamot and light musks, I read it as a delectable musky coconut. I am smitten with this one in particular because it sits close to the skin and has a beautiful subtle scent as it dries down. Would I use it again? Yes, I would.

Kiss My Face Cucumber & Green Tea Active Life Deodorant: I have repurchased this deodorant so many times, and need to pick up another next time I go to Whole Foods. I love this stuff! Would I use it again? Yes, and I do repeatedly.

Arbonne RE9 Advanced Hydrating Body Lotion is an exceedingly moisturizing and ultra emollient antioxidant and vitamin-rich moisturizer that works wonders on dry skin and hands. Filled with ingredients like Sweet Almond Oil, Safflower Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Sesame Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, Olive Oil, Orange Peel Oil, Wheat Germ Oil and Aloe Barbadensis Leaf– this lotion delivers deep and long-lasting hydration. While this is a rich lotion, it does sink in quickly, and the high concentration of oils leave the skin glowing, but not in the least bit greasy. It has the delectable scent of the Orange Peel Oil, but I find that it dissipates soon upon application. It's a very effective all-over body lotion that is nourishing and hydrating enough to tackle dry hands and feet. Would I use it again? Yes, in a heartbeat.

PediSpa Intensive Moisturizing Foot Mask ($9.99 for two pairs from Target): is an ultra-hydrating foot mask that noticeably softens and moisturizes parched feet, and aids in the repair of cracked and calloused skin. Used in conjunction with the PediSpa Exfoliating Foot Mask, this mighty duo makes feet pedicure and sandal-ready in no-time. Would I use it again? I still have a mask left, and will likely purchase another box when I run out.

Topganic Brazilian Nut Oil with Keratin Protein Intensive Repair Conditioner: This conditioner protects, nourishes and hydrates the hair and scalp, and leaves hair manageable and frizz-free. Like its companion shampoo, it is a perfect choice for color treated hair, and hair subjected to flat irons, blow dryers and curling irons, but it is also a great choice for people with dry hair. If your hair is feeling dry because of the cold weather, then this is a great conditioner to add into your haircare routine. Would I use it again? I really liked this a lot, and would definitely use it again, but I have a cabinet filled with conditioners that I need to use first.

LUSETA BEAUTY Argan Oil Hair Masque: I always welcome trying new hair masks, and this one promises to revitalize damaged and color treated hair. I found it hydrating and quite nice. It has a light and pleasant fragrance that is neither overpowering, nor is it cloying. Would I use it again? I liked it, but I have so many deep conditioners and masks to use that it will be quite some time before I think about buying any.

There is no need to double cleanse, but if you prefer double cleansing then you can follow this step with your favorite cleanser. It should be noted that aroma M Beauty Camellia Cleansing Oil will break down and remove every trace of eye makeup– including mascara, but I prefer using an eye makeup remover beforehand so that I don't have makeup smeared all over my face during this cleansing treatment.

The second way is to use aroma M Beauty Camellia Cleansing Oil as a weekly deep cleansing treatment. Simply warm a generous amount of the oil between your hands, and then massage it into your face, neck and décolleté for about five minutes. The Top 14 Luxury Face Oils in 2014

When my friend wefadetogray, a woman with an unquenchable predilection for luxury beauty oils equal to mine, asked me to come up with my top ten list– I struggled to narrow down my selection. Then it occurred to me that if I was to choose the top facial oils of 2014 that I should choose fourteen instead of ten. 

You will note that I have listed them alphabetically, rather than in any sort of order of preference. As you can clearly see, Aftelier Perfumes and African Botanics are both well represented with more than a single beauty oil selected. The reason for this is quite simple: these two companies produce among the very finest quality luxury oils on the market, and there was no way to select a single oil. It is not an issue of brand loyalty as much as it is my desire to present you with what I find to be absolutely exceptional quality luxury beauty oils that truly stand out in a vast sea of beauty oils. Furthermore, it hardly requires mention that beauty oils are currently very much in vogue, and as a result everyone seems to be trying to get their piece of this over-saturated market. The playing field is hardly level, and while there are excellent beauty oils, unsullied by subpar ingredients, it should also be noted that there are plenty of mediocre ones from the most costly luxury versions to the least expensive mass marketed varieties. 

After carefully scrutinizing my large collection, here are the standouts:  

1) Aesop Damascan Rose Facial Treatment (reviewed here): Aesop's Damascan Rose Facial Treatment is a deeply nourishing and moisturizing face oil that will do wonders for dry and/or distressed skin, but it has also done incredible things for my normal/combination skin as well. It is a very concentrated, vitamin infused treatment oil that serves as a potent remedy for skin that needs intense hydration, but is so gentle and nourishing that my skin happily drinks it up and is left soft, supple, glowing, balanced, and very moisturized. I only need a couple of drops that I warm between my hands before massaging it into my slightly damp and warm face, neck and décolleté. It sinks in immediately and effortlessly, and it has an intoxicatingly hypnotic warm earthy rose scent that simply delights the senses. It is neither too rich for my skin, nor has it caused me to break out in the least. It just makes my skin look and feel amazing.

Ingredients: Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Tocopherol, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Seed Oil, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Flower Oil, Viola Odorata Oil, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract, Beta-Carotene, Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalool, d-Limonene, Farnesol, Eugenol.

2) African Botanics Neroli Infused Marula Oil (reviewed here): There is something magical about Neroli Infused Marula Oil from the feather light texture to the sweet and understated smell of the Neroli. It is a thin potent oil that immediately sinks in and gets right to work. According to African Botanics, "Marula Oil is lightweight and quick-absorbing, but at the time is very nourishing, thanks to the Omega 9 content of the oil (70% - 80%). It is the fastest way to deliver essential nutrients and vitamins to the skin."

As with all luxury oils, I apply African Botanics Neroli Infused Marula Oil to warm and damp freshly cleansed skin. The added slip from the water facilitates quick absorption followed my an immediate radiance and glow. Every single time that I apply this lovely oil (which is quite often) I note that my skin reveals a newfound clarity and evenness of tone. There is an unmistakable luminosity that is so obvious and pronounced that I have been receiving so many comments about how beautiful, clear and glowing my skin is- followed by "what are you using, and did you get a peel or something- your skin is gorgeous!" This is truly the nectar of the gods. Furthermore, the price is amazing-- particularly since most luxury oils only provide a single ounce of product and are often far more expensive. This is a must-have for the luxury oil enthusiast!

3) African Botanics Pure Marula Oil (reviewed here): African Botanics Pure Marula Oil is a velvety smooth, fast absorbing lightweight oil that sinks into the skin quickly and effortlessly, and it leaves behind no greasy residue. It has a light, warm, sweet scent that is utterly intoxicating.

Her newest creation, Aftelier Honeysuckle Face Elixir, is less a beauty oil, and more a work of art of exceptional rarity. Indeed, this is perhaps the singular beauty oil against which all other beauty oils will be judged in perpetuity. Aftel describes the Honeysuckle Face Elixir as one that, "features rare honeysuckle absolute from Italy, extracted from the creamy white and yellow trumpet flowers. 8) Colbert MD Illumino Face Oil (reviewed here):  The first thing that one notes is that this is no ordinary oil. It has a thin water-like consistency that allows it to sink into the dermis faster, and presumably deeper, than any other oil that I have tried. Therefore, the efficacy of this delivery system is peerless among all of the luxury beauty oils that I have tried. Furthermore, among the ingredients is the brilliant addition of retinol-- thereby making this one of the most advanced anti-aging beauty oils on the market. The result of the advanced technology employed in the creation of this face oil is glowing soft youthful skin. Illumino is an apt name given that skin boasts a luminous glow that appears lit from within.  The difference in the quality of my skin was evident after a single use, no exaggeration. The results were that immediate for me. After prolonged use my skin continues to look better and better (and my skin was in good shape to begin with). This is also the perfect oil for those who remain fearful of using face oils because it is light and thin and sinks in quickly without any of the "oiliness" that make novices to the world of beauty oils uncomfortable. Once you try Illumino Face Oil, you will understand why it has rightfully earned cult-status among beauty oil aficionados. Additionally, once you try it-- you won't ever want to be without it! The scent is a very pleasant light fruity floral that dissipates very quickly, but is deliciously satisfying. From the moment that I first tried this during my evanhealy mini facial at Pharmaca with Joan Shure...it was clear to me that this remarkably effective beauty oil was indeed quite special." This stunning amber elixir is nothing short of a miraculous achievement in my assessment because it is tremendously lightweight and fast absorbing, but it is likewise among the most nourishing and hydrating oils that I have ever tried. Packed with eleven essential oils derived from flowers and other botanicals, this is the ideal liquid moisturizer for anyone seeking a simple solution to hydrated skin and a luminous, light-reflecting complexion. Like magic, it effortlessly melts into complexions that are 'normal,' oily, dry, or any combination thereof, without leaving any greasy residue."

Not only are the contents of each bottle expertly crafted from the finest quality ingredients, but indeed the bottle itself is a luxurious minimalist modern quasi-deco glass bottle that lends itself to display-- particularly so for the aesthete. I deeply appreciate that the glass dropper never dispenses too much oil, as is so often the case with pump dispensers, and when you are talking about something this expensive you certainly don't want to waste any product. That said, what pump dispensers lack in elegance they make up for by maintaining an air-free environment which undoubtedly stretches the shelf life of the contents of the bottle. I store my skincare products in a cool dry cabinet that is not subject to fluctuations in temperature, and that is not exposed to light, and frankly I find this product so addictive and satisfying to use that I highly doubt that there is any chance of it spoiling before I get through the bottle in its entirety. Still, I do think that a pump would have been a more pragmatic choice. Furthermore, I do live in a bit of fear that one of the cats could spontaneously prance or scamper across the counter and knock the bottle over when the dropper was removed during use- which would amount to one seriously expensive prance or scamper.

No wild claims are made that this ultra luxe oil will immediately eradicate the ravages of time, or that it is the ultimate fountain of youth culled from a newly discovered region in some far off exotic land, or  that it will immediately make you appear 10 -20 years younger.  My skin looks clear, bright, rested (even when I am not), even-toned, moisturized, utterly hydrated, and deliciously glowing (not greasy, but lit from within and healthy).

11) Sisley Black Rose Precious Face Oil (full review forthcoming, but mini review found here): Black Rose Precious Face Oil is Sisley’s first skin care oil for dry or mature skin. With a high concentration of active ingredients, this silky-smooth dry oil prepares, and nourishes with an anti-aging effect.

Sisley Black Rose Precious Face Oil is an amazing dry oil that is formulated to nourish dry and/or mature skin. While I neither have dry, not mature skin-- I find this to be a miraculous performer! My skin feels like velvet whenever I use this antioxidant rich anti-aging powerhouse luxury oil. Skin is left toned and lifted and fine lines are softened. The scent is a gorgeous refined rose that is intoxicatingly beautiful-- it's so beautiful, in fact, that I periodically find myself opening the bottle to just smell its magnificence! It leaves skin with a noteworthy glow, and it is so nourishing and moisturizing that skin is radically transformed into its best version of itself!

12) själ Saphir Concentrate Anti-Aging Face Oil (reviewed here): This utterly lavish jewel soaked beauty elixir has a feather-light consistency that soaks into the skin quickly, and it immediately imparts a luscious and luminous glow. The scent itself defies easy categorization, though one does detect the delightful citrus notes. I would say that the evocative scent is simultaneously calming and intoxicating, and once I begin using it with regularity the scent began to beckon me. I realize that this sounds a bit crazy, but once this luxury oil gets under your skin it  quickly becomes a highly craved part of one's beauty routine. 14) The Organic Pharmacy Antioxidant Face Firming Serum (reviewed here): First, it must be said that this beautiful oil has the intoxicating scent of Sweet Orange- therefore upon application you are assured of a magnificent and visceral sensory experience. This brilliant concoction boasts a high concentration of the powerful Alpha Lipoic Acid, a known powerful antioxidant, that helps to prevent cell damage by scavenging free-radicals. The high concentration of Rose Hip Oil is rich in transretinoic acid and essential fatty acids, and is clinically proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and also helps to reduce scarring over time. Sweet Orange helps prevent capillary fragility, and Carrots are rich in Beta Carotene (part of the Vitamin A family), and are rich antioxidants that protects the skin against free-radicals. Lemon (Citrus Limonum) lifts, tones and exfoliates the skin, and does so in an immediately visible way. This is also to say nothing of the fact that my skin is left soft, supple, and deeply moisturized and hydrated.

There is a notable lifting effect in that my expression lines are radically softened, and my skin has an unprecedented radiance and clarity. I would describe this oil as one that stimulates circulation because my skin has the type of radiance that is not superficial, but one instead that causes my skin to have a rosy radiance as though lit from within. The difference is so noticeable, that whenever I use it people comment on how gorgeous, glowing and beautiful my skin is. In fact, I recently had an aesthetician tell me that I had really great skin that was just gorgeous and glowing. I attribute a good deal of this to this magic potion, of course it is not solely responsible for the current condition of my skin- but I am currently under an inordinate amount of stress, and often when stressed my skin goes haywire. Instead, my skin looks and feels wonderful. 

A real game changer for me. I'm still shocked that such an unassuming little golden elixir can render such outstanding and transformative results. It was worth every single penny to me, and I will most definitely repurchase this magical potion. This is the stuff that dreams are made of! A+
