After having tried the BeeSpa Honey Lips Hydrating Lip Masque (Reviewed HERE), and really liking it, I was really looking forward to testing their Luxury Body Cream and Hand + Foot Cream. Overall Assessment: These are both such moisturizers, and they are perfect for the upcoming change in seasons. If you are considering both, then buy the set because you will save a little and get the gift bag.

Derma E Crepey Skin Repair Treatment Review

Derma E Crepey Skin Repair Treatment is an ultra thick, rich and moisturizing cream to treat crepey skin on the body and neck. I should preface this review by stating, first and foremost, that I do not have crepey skin, but this winter I had unusually dry skin as a result of the cold and wet season that we had. Therefore, I had the perfect opportunity to try this treatment on my very dry arms. It has a texture that is more like a concentrated body butter, than a cream, and it is quite concentrated. Therefore, I only use a small amount for excellent results. Simply massage this antioxidant-rich cream into the skin, and the the AHAs gently exfoliate dead skin cells while the nourishing formula moisturizes and plumps the skin. It has a light herbal aroma, but it fades quickly, and it isn't in the least bit imposing. I have only used it on my arms, but I am quite pleased by the extent to which my skin no longer looks or feels so dry.

Derma E Picks to Pamper Your Hands and Feet This Season

Derma E has so many fantastic and affordable products, and I often use their great formulas in ways that I hadn't considered when I first started testing them. For instance, I was looking through my stash to find a very effective exfoliant, oil and cream to perform a miracle on my hands and feet. After a summer of running around the house and yard barefoot, and 18+ months of using hand sanitizers and hand soaps all of the time, I  needed some serious dry skin relief! The second I saw my jar of Derma e Microdermabrasion Scrub, my bottle of Derma E Vitamin E Skin Oil 14,000 IU, and my jar of Derma E Vitamin E 12.000 IU Cream, I  knew that I had the perfect trio for the task ahead.

Here are my three easy steps to wonderfully soft, smooth, supple and moisturized hands and feet.

1) Use Derma e Microdermabrasion Scrub on your hands and feet. Use a light hand because this formula has plenty of grit and you don't want to tear the skin. Pat your feet and hands dry, but leave a little moisture behind.

2) Massage the Derma E Vitamin E Skin Oil 14,000 IU into your warm hands and feet until it sinks in.

3) Massage the Derma E Vitamin E 12.000 IU Cream into your hands and feet and enjoy your soft and hydrated skin. I like to put on warm and cozy socks afterward, and the results are always fantastic!

Derma e Microdermabrasion Scrub ($32.50 for 2 oz. from derma e, Ulta, Birchbox): is a wonderfully effective facial scrub. This exfoliator features tiny, and densely populated, exfoliating particles suspended in a creamy base that has enough grit to sweep away dead skin cells effortlessly. The formula is gentle, effective and non-stripping. Skin is left soft, silky smooth, supple and refreshed. It is a very concentrated formula– so this 2 oz. jar should last a long time unless you are using it on your face and body. Derma e suggests that it can be used on your hands, elbows, feet, knees– or anywhere you need to exfoliate rough skin, and I definitely agree that it is quite effective on rough skin in those regions as well. 

Directions: Use twice a week. Apply to wet skin. Gently scrub desired areas in circular motion for up to 1 minute. For sensitive skin, less pressure is recommended. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Pat dry.

It is quite affordable, and this 2 oz. bottle should last a very long time. You can use it all over your face, neck and décolleté, or you can simply use it to heal dry and flaky skin on your face and body.

Directions: Pour a small amount of Vitamin E Oil onto the fingertips and apply to the entire face, neck and dry flaky patches in light upward strokes. Use ad desired.

Kiehl's Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter Revisited

I thought that I would revisit Kiehl's Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter because I have gone though so many bottles of the lotion and jars of the body butter over the years, and felt that it was worth further extolling its virtues. It is an utterly sublime and decadent whipped butter that is fast absorbing and remarkably moisturizing. The whipped texture is delectable, and it melts into warm, damp skin quite quickly leaving skin soft, smooth, supple and hydrated. While I also use it on dry skin, I really love using it after getting out of the bath or shower because the added slip created by damp skin makes it sink in that much quicker, and allows you to use less of the body butter. It has a really delicious scent that is warm, rich and creamy.

According to Kiehl's,

This luxurious whipped body butter with Shea Butter and Jojoba Butter absorbs quickly to nurture and moisturize skin. With rich hydration, this body moisturizer is also infused with Soy Milk and Honey.

Overall Assessment: This definitely is neither my first, nor my last jar of Kiehl's Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter. I have used it for well over a decade, and really love it.

Among my favorite TATCHA gems is the entire Indigo Collection. TATCHA Soothing Silk Body Butter is a profoundly moisturizing treatment cream that offers even the driest skins great relief. I should state that I have a very large assortment of body creams and body butters at the moment, and I had absolutely no need, whatsoever, to buy another one, and yet I purchased another TATCHA Soothing Silk Body Butter as soon as I was close to finishing my previous jar– I just did not want to be without it because I enjoy using it that much.

TATCHA'S Indigo Soothing Silk Body Butter is a rich, fast absorbing and non-greasy body cream that leaves behind the most lusciously supple, soft and deeply moisturized skin imaginable. The anti-inflammatory-rich formula soothes redness and skin irritation swiftly, effortlessly and with great efficacy. The subtle warm clean scent is utterly intoxicating, but it fades quickly and will not to interfere with any fragrances that one might wear.

According to TATCHA,

Rich in anti-inflammatory Indigo, liquid Silk and Squalane, TATCHA's INDIGO Soothing Silk Body Butter softens and soothes irritated skin.

The stems, leaves and petals of the Indigo plant are steeped in water and fermented to make a concentrated botanical extract. Tryptanthrin and indirubin actives help reduce irritation and promote skin's natural healing abilities. The natural blue hue disappears upon application. Due to the natural botanical extract, the shade of Indigo may vary; the efficacy of the formulation remains the same.

Arbonne RE9 Advanced Firming Body Cream and RE9 Advanced Age-Defying Neck Cream | Review

Arbonne, a wonderful botanical based skincare line, recently introduced three new products to their wildly popular RE9 Advanced healthy aging range of products: A neck cream, retexturizing serum in lotion and a firming body cream, and I have the body cream and neck cream to share with you.

According to Arbonne,

These three new body care products feature cleaner formulas with gold standard ingredients that deliver even better results. RE9 Advanced body products support healthy-looking skin thanks to the amazing power of vitamin C – a skincare gold standard that helps support healthy-looking skin at any age.

RE9 Advanced Age-Defying Neck Cream ($85.00 for 1.7 oz. from Arbonne): This rich, and ultra-emollient, neck cream is remarkably lightweight and fast absorbing, and yet it leaves behind no greasy residue. It leaves skin very soft, supple, smooth and deeply moisturized. Furthermore, it improves and softens the appearance of fine lines by plumping and smoothing the skin. It is worth noting that it has no discernible aroma, and therefore shouldn't bother people with sensitivities to fragrance.

According to Arbonne,

A rich cream, formulated with peptides, that helps improve the appearance of firmness by adding moisture to the delicate neck and décolletage area, while stabilized vitamin C boosts and maintains moisture to support collagen. RE9 Advanced Firming Body Cream ($75.00 for 6.7 oz. from Arbonne): I don't really have any dimpled skin, which this luxurious cream is intended to treat, but my arms and legs have been unusually dry and chapped lately, and in much need of serious hydration. Therefore, I have been slathering this rich ultra-luxe cream all over my arms and legs and I have noticed a distinct improvement in hydration, the parched dry patches have abated, and my skin is very supple, smooth, soft and quite luminous after use. The texture of my skin is improved overall, particularly since this cream banished the chapped skin. While the texture and consistency is really quite rich and thick, it melts into the skin and doesn't leave behind a greasy residue. There is a very slight orange aroma, that smells lovely, but it is quite faint and fades as soon as it absorbs into the skin.

This luxurious cream deeply nourishes the skin with hydration, formulated with red algae extract, to smooth the appearance of dimpled skin and promote a shapelier-looking silhouette. It immediately improves the look of skin tone and texture leaving skin soft and silky with a renewed glow.

Directions: Apply liberally to body, concentrating on the thighs, stomach, bust, and upper arms. Massage gently using circular motions.
