Among my favorite TATCHA gems is the entire Indigo Collection. TATCHA Soothing Silk Body Butter is a profoundly moisturizing treatment cream that offers even the driest skins great relief. I should state that I have a very large assortment of body creams and body butters at the moment, and I had absolutely no need, whatsoever, to buy another one, and yet I purchased another TATCHA Soothing Silk Body Butter as soon as I was close to finishing my previous jar– I just did not want to be without it because I enjoy using it that much.

TATCHA AGELESS Revitalizing Eye Cream is a deeply moisturizing and hydrating eye cream that leaves skin soft, supple, plumped and decidedly luminous. I was eager to see the extent to which it could plump fine lines, and after only a few weeks of use I noted that the fine lines at the outer-edges of my eyes were smoother, plumper, and nearly invisible. This is one of the few eye creams that effectively lightens dark circles when I have them, and eliminates under-eye puffiness on the rare occasions that I get them. This is one of those rare eye creams that is so perfect that there is absolutely nothing that I would change about it.
N.B.: I should also note that richer eye cream formulas often give me milia, and TATCHA AGELESS Revitalizing Eye Cream does not. I have been able to isolate two ingredients that tend to lead to milia in my under eye area- Petrolatum and Mineral Oil (particularly when used together)– and neither of these ingredients are found in this lovely eye cream. In my opinion, this really is the perfect eye cream!

TATCHA SUNRISE: A PLUM BLOSSOM 23-Karat Gold Illuminated Lipstick is so unbelievably gorgeous that I actually gasped as I opened the box in which it was housed. It boasts a level of luxury that was, until now, unseen. The lipstick bullet, itself, is weighty and ultra-luxe with an attention to detail that exceeds all expectations. The lipstick is a gorgeous cool plummy pink that is accentuated by its beautifully faceted shape. This precious gem, that is infused with 23-karat gold, is more like a fine piece of jewelry than a mere tube of lipstick. If ever there was a lipstick to covet, it is this one. My full review is forthcoming, but if there is one lipstick to buy this year, it is this beauty. The only thing that I would change about it is its Limited Edition status.

While I neither have eczema, nor rosacea– my skin can become sensitive and irritated at times. Periodically, while testing out new products, my skin becomes irritated and reactive, and one of the hallmarks of this type of skin eruption is the appearance of product related dermatitis. When this occurs I develop unsightly (at least to me) small patches of dry skin that peel and flake. Furthermore, this is also a very potent anti-aging cream that does far more than calm, soothe and heal irritated, inflamed skin.
I found that the results were astounding, and I am not exaggerating. I applied TATCHA INDIGO Soothing Triple Recovery Cream to my entire face since my skin felt uncomfortable, but I spent extra time massaging it into the dry patches on my chin, and my skin immediately felt comforted, soothed, calmed and comfortable. When I woke up the following morning my skin was glowing, lifted, and deeply moisturized. The dry patches were noticeably less irritated and flakey, and by the morning of the third day they were completely healed.
I continued using this cream day and night long after the dry patches retreated and disappeared, and I noticed that this was a supremely potent anti-aging cream that lifts, smooths, soothes and hydrates the skin. Additionally, it is nourishing, comforting, and extremely pleasurable to use. When used in conjunction with the TATCHA GOLD Camellia Beauty Oil (reviewed here), the results are truly amazing. Overall Assessment: TATCHA makes some of the finest luxury skincare products on the market, and their new INDIGO Soothing Triple Recovery Cream is a peerless cream for irritated, sensitive skin. However, my skin is no longer irritated, and I have discovered that this is also one of the most potent and effective anti-aging creams! A more elegant line, I know not.
