If you love clay masks, as do I, then do I ever have a treat from Australia for you. Sand & Sky Brilliant Skin Detoxify+Brighten is an effective 4-in-1 Australian pink clay mask, infused with a cocktail of effective botanicals, that only needs to be left on for a mere 10 minutes in order to boost radiance, clear clogged pores, regulate sebum production and detoxify the skin. The beautiful pink clay, which dries white, does not dry out the skin or leave it taut and uncomfortable. Instead, skin looks luminous with a pronounced clarity, and it feels noticeably refreshed.  This luxurious mask comes with a dedicated high quality brush– which makes for easy and clean application– and it prevents you from having to dip your fingers into the chic glass jar. While this can be used 2-3 times a week, I tend to prefer to use it once a week on my normal/combination skin. This clay mask has a faint, but discernible scent from the botanical infused clay itself, but it is neither artificial, nor long-lasting.

I have been a devotee to The Organic Pharmacy for many years now, and their beautiful products rank among my most coveted items in my skincare collection. 

The Organic Pharmacy Jasmine Night Conditioner is such an incredible treat to the skin, and it is so easy to use. Simply spritz it on cleansed skin at night, allow it to absorb completely and go to bed. Since it does come in a spray bottle, and because you don't want to get it into the eyes, I tend to cut a large cotton round in half and then place them over my eyes for protection– then I spray.

A fragrant Jasmine infusion, this potent Retinol and Glycolic Acid-based gem exfoliates dead skin cells, while the Vitamin C brightens skin and helps to fade hyperpigmentation. Additionally, the Hyaluronic Acid binds and retains moisture which beautifully plumps and revitalizes the skin while the active exfoliants work hard at the removal of dead skin cells. I am always struck by the extent to which my skin looks rested, rejuvenated, soft, smooth, supple, hydrated and luminous when I awaken the following morning. Pink lines: Simply add a strip of thin tape horizontally, then paint over in your favorite pink lacquer. Wait until tacky, then remove the tape. Once the color is completely dry, finish the look with a clear top coat.

Overall Assessment: I am so impressed by the efficacy of the Derma E Hydrating Facial Wipes with Hyaluronic Acid that they have quickly become my favorite wipes– especially after doing excessive swatching (which can be unforgiving on the skin). I have used the Derma E Purifying 2-1 Charcoal Mask, and love it, but I am especially excited about trying their Firming Magnetic Clay Mask and Vitamin C Brightening Clay Mask.

Filled with ground Kona Coffee and Arabica Coffee Seed Oil, this multi-oil-laden salt scrub does an exemplary job gently removing dead skin cells while nourishing and hydrating the skin. Unlike many body scrubs suspended in oil, this one does not leave excessive oil on the skin to the extent that one needs to cleanse the skin again after exfoliating. Artnaturals Hair Coconut & Lime Hair Mask ($13.00 for 8 oz. from Artnaturals): I am a hair mask fanatic, and tend to mask a couple of times a week to nourish my dry, curly hair. This delicious smelling mask is ultra-hydrating and it leaves hair soft, smooth, shiny, manageable and free of frizz and fly-aways. While it can be left on for 3-5 minutes, I tend to prefer deeper conditioning and therefore I leave it on for about 30 minutes under a hair turban.
