I think that you are sensing a pattern here: I go grocery shopping at Trader Joe's, then I stalk their new skincare and body care products, and inevitably come home with something that wasn't on my grocery list. This is precisely what happened when I bought the Trader Joe's Cucumber + Citrus Face and Body Wipes. I should state that I do not usually use, or purchase disposable face wipes, but when I saw these I thought that the would be perfect for a travel bag, a beach bag or left in the car for those times that you want to remove tons of sunscreen after a day out in the sun, or to remove makeup on those days when I am too tired to do anything more than quickly clean my face and remove makeup and dirt from the day.
These wipes have a crisp and pleasant cucumber aroma that smells and feels refreshing against the skin. It gently removes dirt and oil, and leaves the skin hydrated. I have used it on my whole face, neck and décolleté, but I do not use them to remove eye makeup. They are also great to pop in your gym bag if you don't like to shower there and just want to remove the excess sweat before going back home to shower.

I have been obsessed with French Pharmacy brands since the time that I was a teenager living in Paris with my Parisian relatives. I would spend countless hours wandering through the aisles finding the things that would not make their way to the states for decades. Vichy is one of my favorite French Pharmacy beauty brands, and I have two products that I am thrilled to share with you.
Vichy Pureté Thermale Cleansing Milk Balm ($16.00 for 6.7 oz. from Vichy and Dermstore): This is a wonderful lightweight, non-lathering, cleansing balm that gently lifts makeup, dirt and impurities, without stripping or irritating the skin. In fact, it effectively hydrates the skin and leaves it soft, smooth and supple. It has a light and clean aroma that is quite pleasant, but it does not linger. You can remove it with water, or with a cotton pad or wash cloth, but there is no need to rinse it.

Overall Assessment: I am so impressed by the efficacy of the Derma E Hydrating Facial Wipes with Hyaluronic Acid that they have quickly become my favorite wipes– especially after doing excessive swatching (which can be unforgiving on the skin). Overall Assessment: Great drugstore picks worthy of a place in your medicine cabinet year round, but they are also very capable of dealing with all of your Halloween makeup removal needs as well.
