A longtime Lola's Secret Beauty Blog reader, since 2011 actually, emailed me the other day to see what warm-weather moisturizer I have been reaching for this season. Here in Southern California, we have been experiencing record-breaking triple-digit temperatures, and I have therefore been forced to reach for lighter skincare products to accommodate the heat. There is currently one moisturizer that I have been reaching for more than any other, and after having used this gem for more than 2 years, I can safely state that this Peter Thomas Roth moisturizer is worth its weight in gold for my normal to normal/combination skin. I don't have a terribly active t-zone, but sometimes my skin certainly isn't dry.
Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream Hydrating Moisturizer is an obsession and covet-worthy hydrating moisturizer that has an incredible texture. This mid-weight gel cream has a fluffy cloud-like texture that melts into the skin leaving it silky-smooth, hydrated and luminous. The Hyaluronic Acid-rich formula offers deep ad sustained hydration while it plumps fine lines. It is fragrance-free, and therefore should present no problem for people who are sensitive to scented skincare products. This is such a glorious moisturizer that is formulated for all types of skin, and it can be used on the face, neck and décolleté twice a day. It can be used all year long, and plays well with my makeup and other skincare products. I cannot attest to the claim that this cream offers 72 hour hydration since I did not discontinue using skincare products for 72 hours to affirm or refute this claim, but I will say that the hydration lasts all day when I use this cream.

Overall Assessment: This is such a lovely cream. I love the texture, the way it makes my skin look and feel, and I am ultra impressed by the way in which it deeply hydrates my skin.
