Project Make-A-Dent: The Makeup Edition January 2014 Progress Check No. 3

October 7, 2013

As you may remember, back in October I launched Project Make-A-Dent in an effort to use some of my loved (yet neglected) makeup. The picture above illustrates the extent to which I had made a dent in each of the chosen products when I launched the series. The picture below shows you how much I  used by December 28, 2013.
December 28, 2013
January 31, 2014

The most obvious monthly changes have been in my use of the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine and Glossimer. Between October and December it was clear that those two products were really getting used with great regularity, but it wasn't until January that they both began to look on the verge of empty. I am really excited that I have managed to make such a significant dent in both of them! The Chanel Lip Pencil, the MAC Eye Kohl and the Covergirl Liquiline Eye Pencil continued to get used, but there doesn't seem to be a significant change in their size since December.  I am also pleased that the Chanel Joues Contraste is continues to look well-worn, but I am still nowhere near hitting the pan. Once again, my use of the two MAC eye shadows, Carbon and Patina, is far less impressive than expected. The Rouge Bunny Rouge Tinted Moisturizer, which I had bit neglected over the last few months, finally is getting more use! I reach for it often and suspect that it has made a pronounced difference in the amount left in the tube. All in all, I would say that I did a pretty good job in January, but I think my use of the Rouge Coco Shine and Glossimer was the real highlight!

Sumptuous skin treatment. Skin Brunch Kukui Rejuvenating Mask is vitamin-rich and packed with anti-oxidant Kukui oil rich in essential fatty acids to give skin a nutritious boost of radiance. Essential oils relax and restore glow whilst Macadamia, Mango and Coconut oils nourish and hydrate.

Benefits:
- Perfect for all skin types, especially dry and dehydrated skin
- Kukui oil feeds skin with powerful antioxidants to add radiance
- Full of essential fatty acids that help to nourish and replenish skin
- All natural oils rejuvenate and revitalize giving skin a nutritious boost

Suggested use: "Apply a generous layer once a week, avoiding the eye and lip contours. Leave for 15 minutes, breathe in the uplifting essential oils, and then rinse face with warm water. Leave Skin Brunch Kukui Rejuvenating Mask on for longer in the winter months for extra skin nourishment. Kukui seed oil gives skin a vitamin boost and helps lock in moisture when the weather zaps it out."

Flying, snowy mountains, sun drenched beaches, tepid seas and dry temperatures all steal the moisture from your skin leaving it dry, tight and dehydrated. With Skin Brunch Kukui Rejuvenating Mask you can wake up beautiful wherever you are.
My experience: Orico London Skin Brunch Kukui Rejuvenating Mask is really lovely nourishing mask that makes skin feel restored, rejuvenated, moisturized, and deeply hydrated. My preferred method of use is to wash my face before I take my morning shower and then apply this mask to my freshly cleansed skin. If my skin is a little dull or dehydrated then I leave the mask on for 20-25 minutes, but if my skin has no special needs then I leave the mask on for the recommended 15 minutes. The mask itself dries down and looks a bit like a clay mask, and no doubt behaves this way because of the Kaolin, but it does not dry out the skin in the least bit. After removing the mask it in the shower,  I stand before the mirror and marvel at the difference in my skin. The antioxidant rich vitamin-packed formula is filled with all sorts of lovely oils that leave the skin hydrated, soft, lifted, rejuvenated, refreshed, and positively radiant. It has a delectable fruity scent that is no doubt a marriage of the Coconut oil, Orange Peel Oil, Tangerine Peel Oils, as Mango Seed Butter.
Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Aloe Barbadensis Extract*, Kaolin, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Polyglyceryl-3 Dicitrate/Stearate, Sodium Magnesium Silicate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil*, Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine) Peel Oil, Argania Spinosa Kernel Extract*, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Aleurites Moluccana (Kukui) Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia (Macadamia) Oil, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Benzyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Glycerin, Sorbic Acid, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Sodium Phytate, Citric Acid, Limonene, Linalool
*Ingredient from organic farming.

Overall assessment: This is a wonderful mask that is great for all skin types, and it will transform skin from dull to glowing in just 15 minutes. During the colder months this mask will do wonders for  weather stressed skin, and bring your skin from stressed and dry to hydrated and glowing. This is a great find! I am now very curious to learn more about Orico and their other products.

The Organic Pharmacy Rose Balm Review

Purchased by me (Affiliate Links)

My deep love of the products made by The Organic Pharmacy naturally led me to trying their multipurpose Rose Balm, and I am so glad that I have it in my bag of tricks. It has definitely earned pride of place as one of the most lovely balms in my collection, and I reach for it all of the time. The texture is light and emollient lending itself to easy application. It has the lovely scent of roses that lingers for a while, but tends to dissipate rather quickly. Most of the time I just use it on my lips, and the result is consistently beautifully quenched, soft, supple, and moisturized lips. I use it as a base under lipstick, but also like to use it on top of lipsticks in lieu of a gloss. I also have used it numerous times on my cuticles with great results, but also reach for it when any areas of my face or body seem particularly dry. It is a very potent healing balm, and for that reason alone it is worth having.

A rich multipurpose soothing balm that caresses and cares for dry skin, hair, nails, lips. Use it anywhere, anytime. Packed with seven super plant oils from argan, pomegranate, rose hip and calendula to nourish, repair and keep the skin and any part of the body looking fabulous.

Application: Using your fingers apply to lips, patches of dry skin, hair, nails and anywhere else that needs it.
Ingredients: Sunflower (Helianthus Annus) Oil, Hypericum Perforatum, Rose Hip (Rosa Canina) Oil, Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii), Virgin Olive Oil (Olea europeoa) , Rose (Rosa Damascena) , Beeswax (Cera Alba), Marigold (Calendula Officinalis) Extract, Rose Geranium (Perlagonium Graveolens), Argania Spinosa Kernal Oil , Vitamin E (Tocopherol).

Made with 99.4% organic ingredients. Made in the United Kingdom.

According to The Organic Pharmacy, there are 20 ways to use Rose Balm:
I have not tried all 20 of these suggested ways of using Rose Balm, but I will definitely make an effort to try a few more of them.

Ingredients: Sunflower (Helianthus Annus) Oil, Hypericum Perforatum, Rose Hip (Rosa Canina) Oil, Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii), Virgin Olive Oil (Olea europeoa) , Rose (Rosa Damascena) , Beeswax (Cera Alba), Marigold (Calendula Officinalis) Extract, Rose Geranium (Perlagonium Graveolens), Argania Spinosa Kernal Oil , Vitamin E (Tocopherol).

Overall assessment: Bottom line is that I love Rose Balm. The tactile experience coupled with the efficacy of the product makes this a luxurious winner in my book. It will take me quite a while to use up this entire little pot, but once I do I will definitely repurchase it.

Empties Post Volume XVII: January 2014 Edition

January proved to be the month of moisturizing for me, and you can see by my empties that I managed to finish up three full-size creams/lotions. I slathered lotions, creams and oils on my body all month long because of the cooler weather (and the big shifts from warm days to cold nights). I also used up lots of haircare samples that were crowding up my samples drawer.

The Highlights:

Kai Body Butter (reviewed here): I am still wildly in love with this delightful scent. Their Body Butter is so rich and emollient that it works wonders on dry winter skin while the scent evokes tropical days frolicking in the sun. You don't even need to ask, I am already working on another jar!

Trader Joe's Coconut Body Butter (reviewed here): I love this rich and thick coconut scented body butter. I kept this jar on my desk and dutifully used it every day, and it kept dry winter skin at bay.

Surya Brasil Amazonia Preciosa Hand & Body Lotion (reviewed here): Amazonia Preciosa Hand & Body Lotion is a lovely lightweight lotion that sinks in quickly but leaves skin soft, silky and unmistakably moisturized. I used this down to the very last drop!

Tom's of Maine Daily Moisture Beauty Bar with Olive Oil and Vitamin E (reviewed here): This is a super hydrating beauty bar that leaves skin very soft, silky and hydrated. I even used it for shaving since it was gentle and moisturizing enough to nourish the skin while creamy enough to get a close shave.

DermOrganic Daily Conditioning Shampoo (reviewed here): This sulfate-free formula is gentle and very conditioning. It does not strip the hair in the least bit, but it does have a lovely lather. I loved this shampoo right to the bottom of the bottle.

Gold Sakura Facial Cleansing Foam Shirasu Line (reviewed here): You will notice that this tube is a bit tattered courtesy of Lucy who managed to bring it back to her hoarder's lair to chew on for a while before I found and reclaimed it! This is a deeply cleansing facial wash that leaves skin baby soft. It's lovely used alone, but extraordinary when paired with a Clarisonic.

Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleansing Lotion (reviewed here): This is my very favorite toner because it is so effective and gentle, and it contains no alcohol.

Dr. Sebagh Eye Primer Lift Eye Contour Gel: I normally wouldn't even bother to comment on a single small sample packet, but I really liked this eye gel a lot. It is thicker gel that deeply moisturizes the delicate eye area. I want to get another couple of packets to try it a while longer, but I was impressed enough that I am contemplating its purchase.

Radical Skincare Peptide Infused Antioxidant Serum (review forthcoming): I am just about ready to review this lovely serum, and have already made quite a dent in my full size bottle. I can say without reservation that it is extraordinary.

Radical Skincare Anti-Aging Replenishing Extreme Moisture (review forthcoming): I covet my big jar of this amazing face cream. It is, without question, my very favorite cream to date. Radical Skincare is a true game changer, and if they make it I will use it!

Hair samples: Sachajuan, Bumble and Bumble, Rahua, Philip B: I didn't use any of these products long enough to determine how effective they were long term-- therefore I don't really have much to say about them.

What did you use, toss, give away or return in January?

Hourglass N° 28 Lip Treatment Oil Review

    Purchased by me (Affiliate links)

Hourglass N° 28 Lip Treatment Oil is one of the most luxurious treatments ever imagined for the lips. It is so luxuriously emollient and hydrating that dry lips feel immediate relief upon application. Given my penchant for luxury face oils, you can only imagine the extent to which I am thrilled by this luxury lip oil. My hopes were high, but my expectations were exceeded.

According to Hourglass, N° 28 Lip Treatment Oil is,

An advanced anti-aging treatment for lips that combines botanicals, vitamins and three powerful active ingredients in a supremely luxurious oil blend. No. 28 Lip Treatment Oil targets the delicate lip area by boosting moisture levels, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, and improving the appearance of lip shape, volume and softness. Equipped with an opulent 24-karat gold-plated tip—it’s the gold standard for lips.
Hourglass asserts the following Key Benefits and Features:

    • N° 28 has both short- and long-term benefits for the lips. It works on contact to condition lips, relieve dryness and chapping, and shield against the elements.

    • Enriched with 14 essential oils: Bois De Rose, Lavender, Geranium, Petitgrain, Lemon, Rosemary, Vanilla, Clove, Amyris, Orange, Ylang Ylang, Eucalyptus, Cedar and Rose Geranium. 10 lipid-rich plant oils: Hazelnut, Kukui Nut, Rose Hip, Borage, Olive, Green Tea, Cherry Pit, Sweet Almond, Jojoba, and Evening Primrose. 4 Vitamins: A, B5, C and E.

    • Saliporine-8, an extract derived from a hardy succulent, is known for elevating moisture levels in the skin. Clinical testing on this ingredient has shown an increase in moisture levels of up to 6000% after applying it twice a day for 28 days.

    • Volulip™ is known for improving lip texture, shape and softness. Clinical testing on this ingredient has shown visible improvement in lip shape, softness, volume and hydration.

    • Viamerine is known for hydration and a reduction in the appearance of wrinkle depth. Clinical testing on this ingredient has shown to hydrate all three epidermal layers and reduce the appearance of the depth of wrinkles.

    • A 24kt gold-plated, anti-bacterial palladium tip dispenses product and creates a soothing effect on the lips

    • Free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates, synthetic dyes and petroleum derivatives

Directions: Remove plastic cap, place index finger on grooved surface behind the gold tip and press down to dispense product. N° 28 Lip Oil can be worn day or night.
My experience: Simply put, N° 28 Lip Treatment Oil vanquishes dry lips, and in record time. This potent blend of 28 essential oils, lipid-rich plant oils and vitamins profoundly nourishes even the most parched lips. The oil itself is a bit more viscous than a typical oil, but it is much thinner than a lip balm. Therefore, the texture boasts a faster delivery system that allows it to sink in faster and deeper. The magical 28 hydrate and condition the lips with great efficacy, and heal chapped dry lips exceedingly fast. This rich oil forms an effective lipid barrier that protects the lips against further environmental assaults while simultaneously making lips soft, supple, smooth, and hydrated. After repeated use I also noted a slight plumping effect. The dispenser itself is an opulent 24 karat gold-plated applicator tip (much like those used for some depuffing eye creams) that cools the lips while gently gliding over even the most chapped surfaces. N° 28 Lip Treatment Oil is a cutting edge ultra-luxe lip oil that is peerless. There truly is nothing else like it on the market, and what it does it does so well that any potential imitators should be dissuaded from even trying!

While this can be used day or night as a treatment, I use it whenever the spirit moves me (which is frequently). I also use it as a base for lipstick, and often use it on top of lipstick in lieu of lip gloss. It has the perfect amount of glide and cushion and makes my lips feel as though they are being hugged by the finest cashmere. The taste and smell has a decidedly aromatherapeutic quality, and I find that the Lavender is warmed by the Vanilla and Ylang Ylang-- making it both intensely pleasant and calming. However, the scent and taste does dissipate soon after application.
Ingredients: Oleic/Linoleic/Linolenic Polyglycerides, Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate, Octyldodecanol, Amyris (Amyris Balsamifera) Oil, Aniba Rosaeodora Wood Oil, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Benzoin Siam Absolute, Bois De Rose (Aniba Rosaeodora) Oil, Borage (Borago Officinalis) Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cedar (Thuja Occidentalis) Leef Oil, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Cherry (Prunus Avium) Pit Oil, Clove (Eugenia Caryophyllus) Oil, Dimethylmethoxy Chromanol, Eucalyptus Globulus Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Geranium (Geranium Maculatum) Oil, Green Tea (Camellia Sinensis) Oil, Hazelnut (Corylus Americana) Oil, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Jojoba (Simmondsia Chinensis) Oil, Kukui (Aleurites Moluccana) Nut Oil, Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia) Oil, Lemon (Citrus Medica Limonum) Peel Oil, Lithospermum Officinale Root Extract, Octyldodecyl Myristate, Olive(Olea Europaea) Oil, Orange (Citrus Aurantium Dulcis) Peel Oil, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, Panthenyl Triacetate, Petitgrain (Citrus Reticulata) Oil, Portulaca Pilosa Extract, Retinyl Palmitate, Rose Geranium (Pelargonium Roseum) Oil, Rose Hips Seed Oil, Rosemary (Rosmarinus Officinalis) Leaf Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract, Salicornia Herbacea Extract, Sorbitan Isostearate, Sucrose Cocoate, Sweet Almond (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis) Oil, Tocopherol, Tocopheryl Linoleate, Vanilla (Vanilla Planifolia) Oil, Ylang Ylang (Cananga Odorata) Oil.
Overall assessment: Hourglass N° 28 Lip Treatment Oil is an amazing addition to my collection of luxury oils and lip balms, and it is the most glorious synthesis of these two types of products. If you love luxury oils, lip balms, or Hourglass N° 28 Primer Serum (reviewed here), then you will be thrilled
by Hourglass N° 28 Lip Treatment Oil.

$42.00 for 0.25 oz. Available from Hourglass, Barneys, Space NK, Sephora & Net-a-Porter (Affiliate links).

Radical Skincare Instant Revitalizing Mask: An Effervescent Review!

     Press Sample (Affiliated Links)

My continued and ever-growing love affair with Radical Skincare surely comes as no surprise-- since I wax poetic about the line every chance that I get. I am very compelled by the Edlich sisters, and after having met and spoken to Rachel extensively-- I can tell you that my admiration for the Edlich's coupled with my unmitigated love of their products is very well-deserved.  As I have said before, their radical story is uplifting and inspirational-- and their products are among the very best that I have ever had the pleasure of using. Read my reviews of Radical Hydrating Cleanser and Radical Revive Eye Crème and you will understand why I am over-the-moon about Radical Skincare. Please take a moment to read Rachel and Liz Edlich's inspirational booklet that documents their approach to radical living-- it is very uplifting and edifying.

At the core of Radical Skincare is Trylacel Technology:

Fighting Free Radicals Damage and Aging with antioxidants: Antioxidants are the best defense against free radical damage and aging. The strongest antioxidants are found in nature’s dark night shade fruits like resveratrol, coffee berry, acai, grapeseed, red wine extract, pomegranate, and cranberry to name a few. Multiple antioxidants are required to fight the numerous types of free radicals. Using one or two antioxidants is simply not enough.

When antioxidants are combined with reparative ingredients in a cream they break down and lose their power, rendering them ineffective to protect your skin from this free radical assault and therefore daily deterioration continues aging your skin. Until now.

Trylacel™a radical breakthrough in suspension technology, keeps the antioxidant potency and performance in the cream to deliver maximum benefits and results quickly. By combining and encapsulating maximum levels of powerful antioxidants, clinically proven reparative and soothing agents in a bi-lipid membrane.
Instant Revitalizing Mask is the ultimate antidote for "dull, out-of-breath skin." After shaking the bottle to evenly distribute the ingredients, and to activate the oxygen bubbles, you apply an even layer over your face, neck and décolleté and simply wait for the magic to begin. When you pump it out it resembles a serum, but in about a minute it begins to turn into a luxuriously light and creamy oxygenated foam. Soon after, the foam gives way to tiny little bubbles that percolate against the skin, and they feel more like elegant lightly bursting Champagne bubbles, rather than Pop Rocks. The experience is soft, gentle and invigorating. After about 3-5 minutes the mask dissipates and one then rinses the remaining residue from the face. The first time that I used it I was astounded by the immediacy of the results. My skin had that revitalized oxygenated flush that one tends only to see after a professional facial, but Instant Revitalizing Mask was able to achieve the same results in only 5 minutes!

Radical Skincare claims that Instant Revitalizing Mask boosts skin's radiance with effervescent bubbles, and hydrates and nourishes "hungry skin" with vitamins and oxygen. They also claim that it softens, smooths, and makes skin glow in minutes. I often find that skincare companies have trouble delivering on all of their claims, but that simply isn't the case with Radical Skincare. If anything, they understate the efficacy of their products. After using the mask my skin is unbelievably radiant and luminous-- something akin to a very healthy glow. Skin is immediately transformed from dull to radiant, and has the added benefit of being deeply nourished and hydrated. My skin is left soft, smooth, supple, and glowing-- the results are really that remarkable. In my closet filled with masks I don't have anything that produces such radical results! Furthermore watching the metamorphoses from serum to creamy foam to bursting oxygenated bubbles is fun, and it feels wonderfully refreshing against the skin!

The Instant Revitalizing Mask is the ideal coach for the skin: it delivers the nutrients necessary for hydration and regeneration while teaching it to breathe, stock up on energy and optimize its oxygen resources in rarefied conditions.

    Benefits:
-Optimize oxygen resources for a lasting youthful glow
    -Stimulates energy production
    -Controls oxidation reactions
    -Smoother skin

How to use: "Apply twice a week on cleansed dry skin. Let mask activate and dissolve after several minutes, rinse face and follow with Peptide Infused Antioxidant Serum and Anti-Aging Restorative Moisture." After I use the Instant Revitalizing Mask, I follow with their Peptide Antioxidant Serum and their Anti-Aging Replenishing Extreme Moisture (both reviews forthcoming) instead of their Anti-Aging Restorative Moisture, and the results are just breathtaking!

REMEMBER- Shake to Activate the oxygen bubbles to carry these anti aging nutrients to energize your skin. Then pump to release the Radical goodness and enjoy!
This is how the mask appears after you initially apply it to the face.
Here you can see the luxurious creamy foam forming.
Now the bubbles are percolating and beginning to burst.

Clinically Proven High Performance Active Ingredients include:

Green Coffee: The hydroxyl radical is an extremely reactive free radical formed in biological systems and has been implicated as a highly damaging species in free radicals pathology, capable of damaging almost every molecule found in living cells. This radical has the capacity to conjugate with nucleotides in DNA and cause strand breakage, having far reaching implications leading ultimately to carcinogenesis, mutagenesis and cytotoxicity. Green Coffee is a good scavenger of active oxygen species, and a very strong antioxidant.

Sodium PCA: Humectants are ingredients that hydrate and hold moisture in the skin. Sodium PCA is an incredible humectant that occurs naturally in the skin and is greatly responsible for the skin’s moisture-binding capacity. It is derived from 100% natural amino acids and is highly water absorbing. Sponge Skincare Anti-Aging Holy Trinity: Krema Imeras, Krema Niktas & Ladi Avokanto

    Purchased by me (Affiliate Links)

It has been a while since I have reviewed anything from Sponge Skin Care, and I must say for such an excellent line it remains very underrated. Their Cleanser, Gel Katharistiko, (reviewed here), remains one of the best and most beloved cleansers that I have ever used, and yet there seem to be few people talking about this wonderful brand.

    About Sponge Skincare:

Originally formulated by a doctor for the care of his pregnant patients without the intent to sell, more than 30 years of research has enabled sponge to pinpoint nature’s most powerful plants through a chemical-free extraction process. Sponge products are hand-blended, and each cream has a base of first pressed extra-virgin olive oil to promote firming, anti-oxidant and overall health benefits to the skin.

Sponge uses only the finest organic and wild-crafted ingredients which are naturally extracted by boiling the plants, herbs and flowers to particular temperatures and times based upon the maturity and the region in Greece it was grown to retain the highest amount of nutrients and vitamins. It is a slow process but it is also very pure to help ensure that your skin will ultimately benefit.

The highest sustainable growing standards are upheld where our plants, herbs and flowers are nurtured and harvested. We have also developed a method of testing products for safety and efficacy that is cruelty-free, which has been accepted by the Dermatological Society of Europe.

Sponge is dedicated to minimizing the environmental footprint of every production channel. Sponge uses only bio-degradable soy ink, 100% recyclable materials and in the print practice, works exclusively with companies that are FSC (Forext Stewardship Council) Certified, the strictest in the industry. FSC’s social and environmental requirements are also the highest and meet the social, economic, ecological, cultural and spiritual needs of present and future generations including criteria such as respect for human rights of indigenous people, prohibition of use of hazardous chemicals and conversion of forests or any other natural habitat.

The perfect anti-aging combination of products from the line consists of their Krema Imeras Day Cream, Krema Niktas Night Cream, and Ladi Avokanto. This is their most potent anti-aging trinity! Whenever I use their oil (Ladi Avokanto) in conjunction with their creams-- I apply the Ladi Avokanto first to freshly cleaned skin, and then massage the cream into my skin afterward. The results are beautifully glowing, unbelievably hydrated skin that is soft, supple and luminous.

Sponge Krema Imeras Day Cream- is "an anti-aging moisturizer for hydrating and protecting against external aggressors."

This deeply hydrating formulation features high-quality lime blossom, sage and rosemary for rejuvenating and nourishing the skin. It boosts radiance and suppleness while preventing the onset of premature signs of aging. As the luxurious texture restores moisture, it also protects against environmental impurities, stress and free radical damage, resulting in a fresh, youthful-looking finish.

    -Free Radical Protection
    -Suitable For All Skin Types

Krema Imeras Day Cream has been in my must-have skincare arsenal for a few years now, and remains one of the creams that I reach for time and time again. It is exquisitely moisturizing, and lives up to Sponge's claim that it boosts radiance and suppleness. It is emollient without being too rich, and it has the distinction of sinking in very quickly. For an added boost of emollience I often add a drop or two of Ladi Avokanto to it.

Apply to your face, neck and décolleté every morning. May be used alone, or for the ultimate sponge experience, combine with an aromatherapy mist and ladi avokanto.

Ingredients: Aqua, Olea Europaea Oil (Olive Oil), Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate, Peg-100 Stearate, Isopropyl Myristate, Ceteth-20, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Allantoin, Ceteareth-25, Tilia Cordata Extract(Linden Extract), Salvia Officinalis Extract(Sage Extract), Rosmarinus Officinalis Extract (Rosmary Extract), Olea Europaea Leaf Extract (Olive Leaf Extract), Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tocopherol, Triethyl Citrate, Disodium EDTA, BHA, Essential Oil Parfume , Linalool, Amyl Cinnamal, Hydroxycitronellal, Lilial, Benzyl Salicylate.
Left to Right: Imeras, Niktas, Ladi Avokanto

Sponge Krema Niktas Night Cream- is "a nourishing, anti-aging night cream for all skin types."

This deeply replenishing formulation features anti-aging and antioxidant-rich ingredients, such as St. John's wort, olive leaf, linden and sage. It supplies rich hydration for a softer and more supple texture while diminishing visible signs of aging. It also boosts elasticity and cell renewal, resulting in a younger-looking complexion.

    -Potent Anti-Aging Cream
    -Suitable For All Skin Types

Krema Niktas has been my very favorite night cream for as long as I have used it. It is a very potent anti-aging antioxidant rich formula that is deeply moisturizing-- yet it is light in texture and fast absorbing. When I wake up the morning following application my skin has a pronounced clarity, is soft and supple, and looks well-rested with a very smooth texture. Like Krema Imeras, the potency and efficacy of Krema Niktas is turbo-powered when used in conjunction with Ladi Avokanto (everything is better with Ladi).

Apply to your face, neck and décolleté every evening.

Ingredients: Aqua, Olea Europaea Oil (Olive Oil), Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate, Peg-100 Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Polyisoprene, Hypericum Perforatum Extract (St. John’s Wort Extract), Ceteth-20, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Allantoin, Cetearet-25, Tilia Cordata Extract (Linden Extract), Salvia Officinalis Extract (Sage Extract), Olea Europaea Leaf Extract (Olive Leaf Extract), Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Tocopherol, Triethyl Citrate, Disodium EDTA, BHA, Essential Oil Parfume , Linalool, Amyl Cinnamal, Hydroxycitronellal, Lilial, Benzyl Salicylate.

Ladi Avokanto- is "a moisturizing oil that rejuvenates your skin with vitamins and antioxidants." It is a rich- yet lightweight oil that sinks into the skin quickly. The luscious combination of the Avocado and Olive oils make this a treat for the skin and the senses.

Restore and repair your skin instantly with Sponge Skin Care Ladi Avokanto Avocado Oil. Rich with vitamin E and D, naturally firming avocado oil promotes healthy skin for a more youthful appearance. A great nourishing oil that is ideal for all ages and skin types.

The “must have” product for healthy, radiant skin. combining the intense firming and restorative benefits of avocado with smoothing vitamin D and antioxidant vitamin E, this product helps nourish and rejuvenate skin regardless of age or skin type. the purity of Ladi Avokanto promotes immediate and cumulative results, helping your complexion look fresh, energized and more youthful with every use.

    -Free Radical Protection
    -Suitable For All Skin Types

What can I say, I just love Ladi Avokanto (read my original review here)! It is just such a sumptuous and decadent face oil that sinks in quickly and imparts the most beautiful luminosity to the skin. Skin is left deeply hydrated and unbelievably soft and supple. The scent is a combination of the Avocado and Olive oils, and while it smells delectable it dissipates after it sinks into the skin. It also works wonders on the scalp, hair and cuticles!

Apply to your face, neck and décolleté every night. This product may be used alone or combined with a moisturizer.

Ingredients: Persea Gratissima Oil (Avocado Oil), Olea Europaea Oil (Olive Oil), Essential Oil Parfume, Lina Lool, Amyl Cinnamal, Hydroxycitronellal, Lilial, Benzyl Salicylate.

Overall assessment: Krema Imeras, Krema Niktas and Ladi Avokanto are amazing stand-alone anti-aging skincare products, but it is their union that delivers the most potent and apparent results. The combination of the three softens fine lines, imparts unbelievable clarity to the skin, hydrates, adds luminosity, and does so while delighting the senses.

Krema Imeras $65.00 for 1.7 oz from Dermstore
Krema Niktis $70.00 for 1.7 oz. from Dermstore
Ladi Avokanto $60.00 for 1 oz. from Dermstore & Sephora (Affiliate Links)
