Lancôme Drama Liqui-Pencil Waterproof Gel Eyeliner might just be my favorite formula from Lancôme's amazing lineup of liners. I first reviewed the Lancôme Le Stylo Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner (Reviewed HERE), then the Lancôme Le Crayon Khôl Crayon Contour Yeux Eyeliner Pencil (Reviewed HERE), and now the entire collection of the Lancôme Drama Liqui-Pencil Waterproof Gel Eyeliner jewel-colored gems. Available in 8 shades with three impactful finishes: matte, metallic and glitter.

These beauties are soft and creamy, they are ultra pigmented in a single pass, they glide across the skin effortlessly without any tugging or pulling, and once they set they don't budge until you remove them at the end of the day. I have not tested their claim that these eyeliners will wear for 24 hours, because I would neither sleep in my makeup, nor stay up for 24 hours to test the theory! The 8 shades are stunningly beautiful, and none of the colors or finishes irritate my sensitive eyes. I don't often wear liners in my waterline, but when I do, I tend to only use matte liners instead of glitter or metallic finishes.

HOW TO USE:

- Apply eyeliner as close to lashes as possible for a tight line, or gradually increase to create a dramatic cat-eye or smokey eye makeup look.

Lancôme Le Crayon Khôl Crayon Contour Yeux Eyeliner Pencil is such a thing of beauty. As a lifelong eye pencil-wearer and enthusiast, this formula is one of my very favorites. While it smudges beautifully it doesn't smear everywhere throughout the day, and it sharpens without breaking or crumbling. This is a true classic Khôl eyeliner pencil in timeless shades. The color saturation intensifies with each pass, and my swatches below were done in two passes.

These swatches were done in two passes, but these eyeliners are buildable and the color saturation becomes more intense.

Overall Assessment: I remember using Lancôme Le Crayon Khôl Crayon Contour Yeux Eyeliner Pencils as a teenager, and I absolutely coveted them then, and love them just as much today! A+

Urban Decay Rockstar and Empire are the Perfect Pure Purple Paradise

Purple has been my very favorite color for my entire life, and as a teenager I made the discovery that my favorite color also was incredibly flattering when juxtaposed with my hazel eyes. Therefore, I have always sought wonderful purple eye pencils and shadows to line my eyes, and Urban Decay definitely delivers with Empire and Rockstar.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils glide across the skin and deposit color effortlessly, and once they set they don't budge. Rockstar and Empire are stunning, and ultra-flattering, eggplant purple shades that offer buildable coverage, and that are fuss-free to use. They do require sharpening.

Rockstar: is described as the darkest eggplant shimmer

Empire: is described as a dark eggplant matte

Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Rockstar is a finely milled shadow, with a sumptuous velvety texture, that glides across the skin and deposits buildable color effortlessly. This pigmented formula is crease-proof, has no fallout and it such a treat to use. I like to use it on my lids, but most often smudge it into my lash line on top of my liner to create more intensity and depth.

Rockstar is a deep aubergine shimmer.

Charlotte Tilbury Rock 'N' Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in Marlene Midnight and Elizabeth Violet | Review and Swatches

As I have previously said, if I had to choose a single makeup item that I use the most, and that I would never want to do without, it would definitely be a great eyeliner pencil. This has been the case since I was a teenager, and I don't imagine that this will change. My most reached-for eyeliner pencils are definitely the Charlotte Tilbury Rock 'N' Kohl Iconic Liquid Eye Pencils, and I have four shades that I use all of the time (Elizabeth Violet, Marlene Midnight, Barbarella Brown and Bedroom Black. This wonderful formula is so creamy to the touch and easy to blend, and it glides across the skin without any tugging or pulling, and it deposits color evenly and effortlessly. It allows you to create a very clean crisp line, but gives you enough time before setting to make a smoky smudged line as well. Once it does set, it is completely budge-proof, and lasts on me all day long, and without a primer. I do not experience any transfer, smudging or fading, but I do not have very oily eyelids, and your wear-time may vary if you do.

I recently repurchased Charlotte Tilbury Rock 'N' Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in Elizabeth Violet because it is one of my most used pencils, and I didn't want to miss out on wearing this gem of a purple eyeliner. While I have been coveting Elizabeth Violet since I began using it, I found myself mesmerized by the beauty of Charlotte Tilbury Rock 'N' Kohl Eyeliner Pencil-Marlene Midnight– which struck me as the perfect deep purplish blue, and I fell madly in love with it from the first moment that I saw it in person. Both of these shades can be built up for greater pigmentation and saturation, but they can also be worn more sparingly, and therefore less intensely.

The four shades that I own (more swatches and reviews HERE):

Elizabeth Violet is a gorgeous slightly muted violet purple.
Marlene Midnight is a sunning navy kohl.
Barbarella Brown is a deep and blackened brown without red undertones.
Bedroom Black is a deep black.
