Lancôme Drama Liqui-Pencil Waterproof Gel Eyeliner might just be my favorite formula from Lancôme's amazing lineup of liners. I first reviewed the Lancôme Le Stylo Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner (Reviewed HERE), then the Lancôme Le Crayon Khôl Crayon Contour Yeux Eyeliner Pencil (Reviewed HERE), and now the entire collection of the Lancôme Drama Liqui-Pencil Waterproof Gel Eyeliner jewel-colored gems. Available in 8 shades with three impactful finishes: matte, metallic and glitter.
These beauties are soft and creamy, they are ultra pigmented in a single pass, they glide across the skin effortlessly without any tugging or pulling, and once they set they don't budge until you remove them at the end of the day. I have not tested their claim that these eyeliners will wear for 24 hours, because I would neither sleep in my makeup, nor stay up for 24 hours to test the theory! The 8 shades are stunningly beautiful, and none of the colors or finishes irritate my sensitive eyes. I don't often wear liners in my waterline, but when I do, I tend to only use matte liners instead of glitter or metallic finishes.

- Apply eyeliner as close to lashes as possible for a tight line, or gradually increase to create a dramatic cat-eye or smokey eye makeup look.
- Use the tip of the pencil to fill in any gaps between lashes.
- Blend immediately after application when creating a soft or smokey look since this formula is ultra-waterproof and sets quickly.
- Sharpen pencil tip with Le Sharpener for precise application
- For those with brown eyes, try the warm and golden toned colors such as blue, violet and teal.
- For those with green eyes, line the lower lash line with black to offset any redness, and try purple, olive and copper hues.
- For those with blue eyes, try brown and bronze tones as well as gold or navy blue.

I'm glad that you said that you think these pencils are your favorites among the several different lines you reviewed. I was getting a little confused. Your swatches for this line are very impressive. I will try one of these. The gunmetal looks like the one I bought from Victoria Beckham so I will try another shade - so difficult to choose. The colors are so rich!ReplyDelete
It is a little confusing because they have several different collections. The colors really are extraordinary! I agree that the gunmetal one looks a lot like the Victoria Beckham shade that you bought. This would also look amazing with your sequined Anne Taylor shirt!Delete
These are beautiful colors. I absolutely have to wear eyeliner or my eyes are invisible. So many great choices. My favorite is the blue but I don't really have e/s I use that would work with that unless I decided to wear gray shadows - that's an idea!ReplyDelete
They really are stunning colors, I agree with you completely, Marcia! The blue is a really special shades and it would look STUNNING with gray shadows! What a striking combination that would be. I am going to have to try that combination, thanks for the idea!Delete
