MyChelle Protect Sun Shield Liquid SPF 50 in Light is a really wonderful serum-like oil-free tinted mineral sunscreen that is reef safe, cruelty-free, gluten-free and vegan. It has a wonderful texture, sheer coverage and a natural matte finish. I am thrilled the it boasts an SPF 50, and it beautifully evens out skin tone. It leaves behind no white residue and it is thoroughly non-greasy. As is the case with all sunscreens, it needs to be reapplied about every 60-80 minutes to maintain sun protection, but it is very easy to reapply. It is available in Light, Light/Medium, Medium/Dark, Dark and Non-Tinted.

As the weather warms up, and we are spending more time outdoors, we need to remember to check the dates on our old sunscreens and replenish them for the season. If you are already spending more time playing in the sun, make sure that you have adequately stocked up on high SPF sunscreens, wear protective SPF clothing and most importantly reapply your sunscreens frequently (at least every 80 minutes). They are so well insulated that no matter how cold the liquid inside, there is absolutely no condensation outside. I purchased the 25 oz. size so that I wouldn't have to refill my bottle as frequently, but you might prefer the 17 oz. size because it a bit smaller to tote around.
