[ comfort zone ] Sublime Skin Oil Serum Regenerating Night Oil, which is made in Italy by the Davines Skincare Division, is a truly sublime nighttime oil serum. If you love Davines haircare products, as I do, then you will be thrilled by their thoughtfully created and highly effective skincare products. I was given the opportunity to try products from their Sublime Skin Collection (Active lifting, deep renewal and skin re-densification) or their Sacred Nature Collection (Bio-regenerative organic skincare for youthful and resilient skin), and both sounded incredible, but anything that has "sublime" in its very name demanded my attention. I do want to try their Sacred Nature Collection as well, but for now I am gleefully using their Sublime Skin products.

[ comfort zone ] Sublime Skin Oil Serum Regenerating Night Oil, which is intended to address the needs of aging skin, has a wonderful gel texture that melts into the skin in the most luxurious and satisfying way. It is rich and emollient– yet it neither causes my skin to break out, nor does it leave behind an oily residue. It immediately nourishes, moisturizes, soothes and pampers the skin– leaving it with a delectable velvety texture. I imagine this gorgeous sensory experience, which is enhanced by its beautiful quasi-floral aroma, has a lot to do with naming this collection Sublime. This overnight serum leaves my skin soft, smooth, supple, luminous and my fine lines are plumped. While this serum is formulated for deeper wrinkles and menopausal skin, my normal/combination skin with fine expression lines seems just as well suited. I think that this would also be wonderful for dry skin as well, and I imagine that it would be a very effective overnight serum for most skin types during the colder months of the year.

Wander Beauty Do Not Disturb Overnight Repair Concentrate is my favorite product that I have tried from Wander's skincare range, and it is not only very effective, but it is also very pleasant to use. This highly effective overnight Retinoid-based repair cream is lightweight, fast absorbing and it has a pleasant, and yet ever-so-slight, light lavender aroma. It accelerates skin cell turnover, and thus lightly exfoliates dead skin cells, it moisturizes the skin and plumps fine lines, and it evens out skin tone by helping to fade hyperpigmentation. Unlike many retinoid-based products, that can actually be quite drying, this soothing formula hydrates and nourishes the skin. Additionally, it leaves skin soft, smooth, supple and very luminous. I have not experienced any skin irritation, redness, peeling or drying, and instead my skin looks balanced, hydrated and dewy.

Directions: Apply and gently massage a pea-sized amount onto clean face and neck at night. Use SPF protection during the day. If you have never used skincare that contains retinoid, slowly integrate it into your skincare routine. Start using Do Not Disturb two times a week and slowly build your way up to daily use.  When you first introduce retinoid to your routine, you may notice dryness, scaling, and redness. This is completely normal and will subside within a couple of weeks of use. When pregnant or breastfeeding, it is recommended to avoid any skincare products containing retinoids. For sensitive skin, Wander Beauty recommends a patch test on the inner arm or neck prior to use. If skin turns red, do not continue.

I received a generous deluxe sample of Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Memory Sleep Mask, and I wish that I had discovered it sooner. This is a wonderfully hydrating overnight mask with a bouncy gel texture that melts into the skin immediately, and it leaves behind no residue whatsoever. I simply massage a small amount into my face, neck and décolleté directly after cleansing my skin, and it is immediately lusciously hydrating. However, when I wake up the next morning, I really note the extent to which my skin is dewy, soft, smooth and hydrated. I also have noticed that it plumps fine lines and makes my skin look and feel rejuvenated. There is a barely-there whisper of an aroma, from the ingredients themselves, but I do not detect a scent once it is applied to my skin. For even more impressive results, I use this mask directly after the Erno Laszlo AHA Resurfacing Sleep Serum (Reviewed HERE), and this combination of products gently exfoliates and hydrates the skin, and the following morning my skin has a pronounced clarity and luminosity. I have been a devotee to The Organic Pharmacy for many years now, and their beautiful products rank among my most coveted items in my skincare collection. 

The Organic Pharmacy Jasmine Night Conditioner is such an incredible treat to the skin, and it is so easy to use. Simply spritz it on cleansed skin at night, allow it to absorb completely and go to bed. Since it does come in a spray bottle, and because you don't want to get it into the eyes, I tend to cut a large cotton round in half and then place them over my eyes for protection– then I spray.

A fragrant Jasmine infusion, this potent Retinol and Glycolic Acid-based gem exfoliates dead skin cells, while the Vitamin C brightens skin and helps to fade hyperpigmentation. Team decided to feature our favorite overnight beauty products and masks, I thought that I would take a departure from featuring my favorite ultra-luxe skincare products, and share a couple of affordable favorites instead. Masque Bar Spa @ Home Foaming Oxygen Bubble Cleanser ($19.99 for 4 oz. from Walgreens): This foaming cleanser effectively exfoliates dead skin cells without stripping the skin, and leaves it feeling soft, smooth and luminous. The Spa @ Home Foaming 02 Bubble Cleanser contains micro-bubbles that draw out dirt, impurities and makeup while the potent orange, lemon, and tea tree extracts exfoliate and brighten the skin. Once activated, the bubbles tickle the skin, but I find it quite pleasant. The aroma is quite faint, and should pose no problem for people who prefer no fragrance in their skincare products.

O2 micro bubbles draw out dirt, makeup residue, impurities, and papain completely smoothes away bumps and accumulated dead cells.

Directions: 1) Pump 4 to 6 times onto dry hands and apply to dry skin. 2) Gently apply an even layer of Foaming Oxygen Bubble Cleanser. 3) Wait 30 seconds and watch as cleanser oxygenates. 4) Rinse off with luke warm water.

This mask, which is enriched with Lavender Extract, Aloe Vera, Calendula and Hyaluronic Acid,  deeply moisturizes and brightens the skin– leaving it baby soft, supple and glowing. The warm lavender aroma is calming and delicious, but it is neither overpowering, nor is it cloying.

This overnight sleeping mask is designed to be left on overnight. Enriched with Lavender Extract, this mask helps relieve dry irritated skin. The scent of Lavender helps you have a good night sleep. Aloe, Witch Hazel and Plant derived ingredients leaves skin feeling moisturized and brightened.
