Each month BB5 curates a theme-based beauty box that features five products that range from full-size to samples. In this feature I will unveil the contents of their January and February 2017 boxes. This is the first time that I have done this, and I will tell you why...I have a brand new mailman who generally delivers my mail to who knows where, and it is often days or weeks later that a neighbor will show up with a some of my mail. Accordingly, one of my neighbors seemed to have received my January box, and it appeared on my porch around the same time that my February box appeared. Therefore, I thought that I would unveil them simultaneously.

The January Box theme and contents:

Tint Beauty Unicorn Liner in Maiden (Full Size. $7.00): This is a very creamy and pigmented lip liner that has serious longevity, and it won't dry out your lips. #TINTBEAUTY

Overall Assessment: The January & February 2017 BB5 boxes were both a good value, and it's worth more than the $12.00 cost of admission. However, if you are obsessed with lip products, then the February box will make you especially happy!

Overall Assessment: The June BB5 box is such a great value, and it features five really nice summer-ready products. Two beauty tools, a bronzer/highlighter duo, a sheet mask and a gradual tanning moisturizer make this a great value, and a perfect summer-ready box for sun-kissed skin without the sun.

The August BB5 box is truly one of the very best that I have seen. The lip gloss and eyeshadow palette pairs perfectly with the liquid eyeliner, and who doesn't need another great nail file! Add to that a deep conditioner for your hair and a nice anti-aging moisturizer and you have just about everything that you need to glam and go!

Contents:

1) Donnamax Printed Nail File with Case (Full Size $4.99): This is a super cute mail file that comes in its own sturdy plastic case. This is perfect for travel, and is already packed for my next trip! #donnamax

2) Starlooks Luxe Longwear Eyeliner Pen in Plum (Full Size $19.99): This is a gorgeous felt-tipped liquid eyeliner pen that applies smoothly and evenly and doesn't bleed or feather. It is a gorgeous shade of blackened plum that is perfect for those days when you want a little something different than a classic black cat eye. #starlooks

3) Hask Beauty Deep Conditioning Argan Oil Hair Treatment (Full Size 1.75 oz. $2.39): Hask makes great deep conditioners that leave hair soft, silky, manageable and hydrated in only 10 minutes. #haskhair

4) Jerome Alexander Hot Stuff Go Pop Compact (Full Size $10.99): This is such a gorgeous palette, and the compact itself is just the cutest thing ever. It features three eyeshadows and three lip glosses that are as cute asa cute can be. The glosses are non-sticky, sheer and comfortable on the lips. The shadows are smooth as silk and are nicely pigmented. #jeromealexander

5) Purlisse Pur Moist Hydra-Balance Moisturizer (Sample Size 0.5 oz. Retail $55.00 for 1.7 oz.): This is a lovely hydrating anti-aging moisturizer that is gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin types. #purlisse

Overall Assessment: The August BB5 Box is really wonderful, and the palette and eyeliner alone were worth the cost of admission!
