I was just recently introduced to HygieneLab, a skincare brand that is devoted to, "elevating men's personal care" and I am quite impressed by their products and their philosophy.

HygieneLab Face Wash is a clean and non-toxic facial cleanser that is fragrance-free, cruelty-free, paraben-free, phthalates-free and sulfate-free. Furthermore, it is EWG Verified and this brand is also vegan! While this brand is made with men in mind, their products can be used by everyone. This cleanser boasts a very gentle and non-irritating formula that cleans skin without stripping it, and instead leaves it lightly hydrated. Ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera and Panthenol hydrate the skin, while Niacinamide and Vitamin C brighten the skin. It has a light lather, but it never strips or irritates the skin. I tested it before handing it over to my husband, and I found that it made my skin look and feel wonderfully clean and hydrated. I hoped that he wouldn't like it, and said I would use it if he opted not to, but no such luck! He loves this cleanser, and said that it makes his skin feel clean, comfortable and hydrated.

Skin Actives Scientific Tombstone Collection for Men

Skin Actives makes wonderful skincare, and I enjoy using a lot of their masks and serums on a regular basis. They also have some effective products that are formulated for men, and that would make great stocking stuffers this holiday season.

Tombstone The Wash Salicylic Cleanser ($29.00 for 4 oz from Skin Actives Scientific): This is an lightly lathering exfoliating cleansing gel that is fragrance-free and fuss-free. It keeps skin clean and clear, and it isn't in the least bit stripping. I tried it on my normal/combination skin and found that it was neither drying, nor irritating in any way. In fact, my skin felt very smooth and soft after use.

According to Skin Actives,

The cool, clean waters of this face wash get you ready for town. Made with salicylic acid to keep your face clear.

Directions: Massage onto damp face and rinse thoroughly twice daily.

Tombstone The Jackpot Growth Serum ($35.99 for 4 oz. from Skin Actives Scientific): According to Skin Actives, "The Jackpot is an anti-aging formula specifically made for men. It rejuvenates your hair while nourishing your scalp." I have not tried this, but I gave it to my husband to use, it is too early to have a definitive opinion, but so far, so good. It has no detectable scent.

Directions: Massage onto damp scalp nightly and rinse or cleanse in the morning.

Directions: Apply to clean skin on the face and other irritated areas daily or as needed.

L'Occitane Cedrat Stick Deodorant is an aluminum and alcohol-free deodorant that leaves skin soft and smelling great all day long. It may be made with men in mind, but it has quickly become my favorite deodorant. I have particularly sensitive skin under my arms, and this is gentle enough that my skin feels great all day long, and without any hint of irritation.

Made without alcohol or aluminum salts, this deodorant glides on easily and dries quickly. It perfumes the skin with a fresh and energizing scent, while efficiently preventing body odor. Skin feels soft, and the body has a sense of well-being throughout the day.

Originally from Asia, cedrat (or citrus) was the first citrus fruit to reach the shores of Corsica, France. The Cedrat extract derived from the pulp was coveted for its skin-energizing properties. To this day, L’Occitane continues to harvest cedrat during the winter months on the island of Corsica at a small, organic cooperative. 

Overall Assessment: Buy it for him, but enjoy it yourself too! I absolutely love the scent!
