It doesn't bleed, feather, or settle into lip lines, and it has a wonderful smell that is a bit like a fruity scent punctuated by creamy vanilla. The color, which is described as a "creamy deep neutral nude" is a peachy apricot nude in my estimation.

My lips have periodically been chapped throughout this winter season, and I have been using so many lip balms and oils to deal with this issue. Bodyography is a brand that I absolutely love, and Bodyography Exfoliating Lip Duo does not disappoint. This cruelty-free, vegan and gluten-free scrub and oil duo is very effective, easy to use and it is filled with antioxidant-rich and hydrating ingredients. That I have a preference for lip glosses and lip oils has been well-documented throughout these virtual pages, and the extent to which I love these tinted variants cannot be sufficiently underscored. This plumping and moisturizing lip oil hybrid is filled with ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides, Evening Primrose Oil, Avocado Oil and Shea Butter that nourish and condition even severely chapped lips.

The texture is lightweight, and emollient, with a slightly oily texture, but it is not so oily that it slides right off of the lips or sinks into them and disappears. It is very smooth and silky without the least bit of gritty texture. Instead, it moisturizes, but it also wears like a hybrid lip oil gloss, and I find that it lasts on me for a couple of hours. There is absolutely no question that I truly love HOURGLASS Cosmetics, and they have consistently thrilled me with their beautiful and thoughtfully crafted products. Their Nº 28 Lip Treatment Oil (reviewed here) has been a staple for me since it launched, and the mere thought that they would add a tint of color to this miraculous formula was a monumental thrill for me. I know this may sound like an exaggeration, but I am utterly obsessed with beauty oils, and one that is specifically formulated for the lips is nothing short of a coup for me! Therefore, adding a gorgeous tint to an outstanding formula is the  perfect pairing.

HOURGLASS Nº 28 Tinted Lip Treatment Oil in Icon (Limited Edition for Holiday 2015) boasts the same magnificent formula as their original, but with the addition their gorgeous signature Icon shade. Icon is the perfect blue-based red that can be worn alone, or on top of your favorite lipstick, lip liner or lip stain. It offers the perfect wash of color while it conditions, nourishes and deeply moisturizes the lips. Furthermore, this ultra-luxe oil blend improves the appearance of fine lines and has a slightly plumping effect without any discomfort. My lips have never been more soft and supple than when I use the Hourglass Nº 28 Lip Treatment Oil, and I'm thrilled to say that Icon does the same, but instead with a gorgeous wash of color.

Overall Assessment: Absolutely an A+ formula and a gorgeous iconic color! I'm buying a back-up, and I rarely do that! I sincerely hope that HOURGLASS considers making this part of their core line, and that they decide to add even more shades! Get yours before they are gone!
