butter LONDON, while best-known for their phenomenal nail polishes, has a stupendous makeup line that is very worthy of your consideration. I have recently been testing more of their makeup, and wanted to share a few of my recent favorites with you.

If you love liquid eye liners, then it is definitely worth grabbing one of these before they are gone! It has the perfect fine tip that allows for very fine application, control and precision. Once it sets, which is quite fast, it stays put on me all day long without any transfer. The shade is a very rich black with a matte finish.

butter LONDON Iconoclast Mega Volume Lacquer Mascara in Brilliant Black ($20.00 for 0.22 oz. from butter LONDON, Ulta, Beauty Expert and Nordstrom): This jet black mascara boasts serious pigmentation, a non-clumping formula, and it conditions the lashes. Furthermore, it never flakes, smudges or migrates. The innovative wand works well in its ability to lift and separate lashes, but it does take a little bit of use to become accustomed to the ball tip.

Directions: Apply to lashes using the center part of the mascara wand. Pull the bristles through the lashes in a zig-zag motion to coat each lash. Use the tip of the wand to lengthen and define.
butter LONDON Glazen Eye Gloss in Bronzed ($24.00 for 0.17 oz. from butter LONDON, Ulta and Nordstrom): As a cream shadow fanatic, I was quite excited about trying this lightweight, cushiony gel-textured eye gloss. It applies wet, but it dries down like a powder, and stays put all day long– with little to no sparkle fallout. I wear it without a primer, but if you have particularly oily eyelids– then you might want to use a primer. Bronzed is a gorgeous antiqued bronze with an intense metallic shimmer that is ultra-flattering.

butter LONDON Plush Rush Lipstick ($22.00 each for oz. from butter LONDON, Ulta, Nordstrom and b-glowing): This lipstick formula is luxuriously creamy with perfect amount of cushion for comfortable wear. It glides across the lips effortlessly, deposits color evenly, and it neither migrates, nor feathers. The formula is intensely pigmented, and it offers full opaque coverage with a single pass. Furthermore, it clings to the lips with some tenacity for long-wear, it is moisturizing, and it has a gentle plumping effect without any discomfort. There is a very slight refreshing, tingle, but it is pleasant rather than uncomfortable.
Plush Rush Lipstick in Lucky is described as a mauve pink creme plumping lipstick. I would characterize it as more of a peachy pink nude.
Plush Rush Lipstick in Impulsive is described as a red creme plumping lipstick.

butter LONDON Buzzed Plush Rush Lipstick: This is a very creamy lipstick that glides across the lips effortlessly, deposits color evenly, and it neither migrates, nor does it pool into lip lines. It has the perfect amount of cushion for comfortable wear, and it has a wonderfully hydrating formula that leaves lips soft, and supple. Furthermore, this lipstick has a light plumping effect that adds volume to the lips without any discomfort or tingling– but it does feel refreshing despite the absence of a menthol tingle. Buzzed is a stunning warm cocoa creme that is very flattering on the lips.

Flash Mob is bright blue-based neon pink that can be sheered out or build up for greater pigmentation.

butter London LIPPY Liquid Lipstick in Yummy Mummy is described as a medium beige liquid lipstick that is a true nude. It is an opaque, cool-toned beige that glides across the lips effortlessly, deposits opaque color evenly, and neither bleeds, nor migrates. The formula clings to the lips with the tenacity of a thicker lip gloss, but without being a sticky hair-trap. It has the opacity of a lipstick with the shine of a lip gloss, and the formula is long-wearing. While i get some transfer on the edge of my coffee cup, I get about 3-4 hours of wear out of a single application. It has a light and pleasant, slightly sweet aroma, but it fades soon upon application.
