For some reason my July Beauty Box 5 arrived yesterday, at the end of August, and I haven't yet received my August box– therefore I am a little late to the party. I will say, however, that this July box was definitely worth the wait, and it is definitely one of the best BB5 boxes that I have seen. 

Each month BB5 curates a theme-based beauty box that features five products that range from full-size to samples, but the July box, with its Let's Get Lost theme, features six items– four of which are full-size.

The July Box Contents:

1) MANNA KADAR Cosmetics Glo Illuminator (Deluxe Sample. Full Size $29.00): This is a very pretty peachy highlighter that imparts a luminous, dewy finish. It can be used on the face and body, and I plan on testing it out today!

2) LUSETA BEAUTY Argan Oil Hair Masque (Deluxe Sample. Full Size $29.00): I always welcome trying new hair masks, and this one promises to revitalize damaged and color treated hair. In the shower it goes. It has a light and pleasant fragrance that is neither overpowering, nor is it cloying.

3) STYLI-STYLE Line & Seal Semi-Permanent Eye Liner (Full Size. $6.50): I am very excited about trying this eye liner, it claims to be very long-wearing, and gentle enough for sensitive eyes. The color that I received, 140 Black Pearl, is a very pretty black that is punctuated by silver shimmer. It is perfect for the fall, and I look forward to wearing it.

5) BEAUTY BOX FIVE Cut That Crease! Makeup Brush (Full Size): This BB5 crease brush was a generous extra that was included, and not listed, in the box. It is a full size, sturdy brush that is perfectly shaped for doing crease work.

6) NANACOCO Rio II Nail Polish (Full Size. $3.95): The color that I received, #1 Fan, is a beautiful periwinkle blue that is Labor Day pedi perfect!

Overall Assessment: This box is a tremendous value for the $12.00 cost. Four out of the six products were full-size, and the remaining two were very generous deluxe samples.  This is definitely one of my favorite BB5 boxes to date!

Each month BB5 creates a theme-based box, and the theme for May is products that lend themselves to "Super Outstanding Skin." From a delectably scented liquid hand soap, to a lovely moisturizer, to a lovely cream blush, and they even included two beauty tools.

1) Bio Swiss Stainless Steel Mini Tweezer ($4.99) #bioswiss

These Red Bio Swiss 2-1/4" long tweezers come with included red end-capped transparent carry tube. The precision-aligned slant head tweezer tips are constructed of quality stainless steel. This discreet mini size is a perfect on-the-go tool with matching carry tube.

The size is perfect to carry in your makeup bag just in case you need to fix your brows when you are out and about.

2) Essenza Luxury Hand Soap in French Lavender (2 oz. Deluxe Sample) #essenza

ESSENZA’s French Lavender fragrance includes a top note of green fresh lavender, a middle note blend of light sweet florals, and a base note of subtle earthy wood. What are notes? In the fine fragrance industry, “notes” are fragrances that we sense over time once a perfume is applied. Top (head) notes are perceived immediately, and tend to evaporate quickly. Middle (heart) notes are the main body of a perfume, perceived as the top notes dissipate. Then finally, we perceive base notes as the main theme of a perfume, usually after the evaporation of the middle notes.

This is a delectable smelling hand soap that I really look forward to using.

3) Styli-Style Glide-On Blush/Highlighter Stick in Bittersweet (Brown/Pink) ($6.49 Full Size) #stylistyle

This is a very buildable and highly pigmented cream blush that applies smoothly and evenly.  Bittersweet is a muted pinky brown,

The Classic Shade and Fluff Medium is ideal for shading and blending like a professional. The soft, oval shaped, synthetic bristles allow you to soften the look of powder or cream shadows by blending harsh lines.

The synthetic bristles are very soft, and feel wonderful against the skin. This is a great choice for laying down color and blending.

5) Dermalogica Active Moist (0.24 oz. Sample) #dermalogica

Oil-free, lightweight moisturizer to hydrate combination skin. Sheer, easy-to-apply formula contains Silk Amino Acids and a unique combination of plant extracts that help improve skin texture and combat surface dehydration. Natural botanical astringents of Lemon, Cucumber and Burdock help to refine the skin. Formulated without artificial fragrances and colors.

This is a very lightweight and fast absorbing oil free moisturizer that offers hydration for combination skin.

Overall Assessment: The May box is filled with a nice assortment of daily use products, and I definitely see myself using all of them!
