I don't often use powder foundations, since I tend to prefer light to medium coverage liquid foundations, but I have to say that I am very impressed by Jane Iredale Amazing Base Loose Mineral Powder Foundation SPF 20 in Natural. It is ultra-lightweight, with a very finely milled texture, and it looks like skin without appearing heavy, cakey or as though you are wearing anything at all. It gives my skin light to medium coverage with a light luminous finish, so that my skin shows through, and it creates that highly coveted my-skin-but-better appearance. Natural, which is the shade that I have,  is such a good match for me that it literally disappears on my skin– as you can see in the swatch below. I can use it as a stand-alone foundation, or as a setting powder, and it neither drying,  nor is it uncomfortable for my normal/combination skin.

Jane Iredale Amazing Base Loose Mineral Powder Foundation SPF 20 in Natural provides the skin with Broad Spectrum physical, mineral protection with an SPF 20, and a UVA P++ protection that is water-resistant for about 40 minutes.

Sweep on this airy mineral foundation for a luminous sheer to medium coverage that feels like silk. 
Apply with Chisel Powder Brush using downward strokes to blend well. Finish with your favorite hydration spray.

Overall Assessment: This is such a high quality loose powder foundation, and I definitely recommend it as a stand-alone foundation, or as a setting powder.
