I am a longtime fan of effective at-home peels, and I really love using the M-61 Power Glow Peel because it is easy to use, it only takes one minute and it delivers real results. Furthermore, this cruelty-free peel is gluten-free, and free of parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, phthalates and synthetic dyes.
You simply unfold the facial peel pad and wipe it over your cleansed and dry face, neck and décolleté. It is always a good practice to spot test to see whether you have a reaction, before using it on a large area of skin, but I will note that my skin can be sensitive and reactive, and this peel has posed no problem for me, whatsoever.
During use I notice the slightest bit of tingling as the Glycolic and Salicylic Acids begin their work exfoliating my dead skin cells, but it is neither uncomfortable, nor painful. I began using it once a week, and was able to use it three times a week the second week, and by the third week I was able to use them every day. I would definitely recommend starting out slowly. I also have to say that whenever you exfoliate your skin that it is imperative to be vigilant about sunscreen use, and reapplication, because taking away dead skin cells leaves your skin more vulnerable to the sun and environment. The lack of an SPF leaves your skin more vulnerable to skin cancer, but also to hyperpigmentation.
M-61 Power Glow Peel leaves my skin soft, smooth with a renewed fresh texture and clarity. I do not have enlarged pores, and therefore can't say whether enlarged pores appear smaller, but I do note that my skin appears more taut after use, and that fine lines appear softer because they are unencumbered by excessive dead skin cells.
This is formulated for all skin types, but as previously noted, it is always a good idea to spot test peels before applying them to your whole face, neck and décolleté.

I am a huge proponent of exfoliation, and I am always seeking out great exfoliants and peels to share with you, and The Body Shop Drops of Youth Liquid Peel is definitely worthy of your attention! While housed in a beautiful bright green pump bottle, the gel is itself clear rather than tinted in any way.
You simply dispense about 2 pumps of this gentle exfoliating gel and massage it into the skin, avoiding the eye area, until the gel begins to pill up as it dislodges and removes dead skin cells. You only need to massage it into your face for a mere 20 seconds, and then rinse your face thoroughly.
Once you pat your skin dry, you will immediately note that it is silky smooth, soft as soft can be, and that all dry patches and dead skin cells give way to the most luminous and vibrant skin. I neither experienced tingling, nor burning in the least bit, but you should patch test it before applying it to your entire face to test for sensitivities. I am very impressed by the results!

Then you simply remove the Baby Foot and wash your feet with soap and water to remove all traces of the exfoliating gel.
Dead skin cells generally begin peeling within 3 - 7 days following your initial application, but mine began to peel the next day, and continued for the following two weeks. Had I soaked my feet a bit longer before application, the duration of my peel time would have been significantly shortened. Baby Foot asserts that one should not forcibly remove dead skin cells when the peeling process begins, but instead to let It exfoliate gently and naturally. Some people find that their feet become dry before peeling begins, and Baby Foot suggests that they "moisturize lightly and sparingly with an oil-free beauty care product." Peeling time may vary from person to person and can take up to 2 weeks to complete.
If you feel that a second application is needed, then wait two weeks after the first treatment and repeat the process.
If you are planning to use Baby Foot before a big event, where you will be wearing revealing shoes, then I urge you to use Baby Foot at least two weeks prior to the festivities– otherwise you run the risk that your skin will be peeling in sheets, and will be wearing shoes and socks to hide your unsightly feet instead of those gorgeous strappy sandals.
