Surface Bassu Hydrating Oil is a lightweight hydrating oil that leaves hair soft, silky smooth and shiny. It does not leave hair greasy, and it is perfect to use on wet or dry hair, and as a styling aid for flat iron use, or without heated styling tools at all. A warm a small amount in my hands are apply it to my naturally curly hair, and it leaves my hair manageable, frizz-free and hydrated. It has a light, rather fruity, aroma, but it is neither overpowering, nor long-lasting.

Overall Assessment: I love how this hair oil tames frizz, makes my curly more manageable, and gives it a lovely sheen.

René Furterer Complexe 5 Stimulating Plant Concentrate is a pre-shampoo treatment that detoxes the scalp, by cleansing and purifying it, and the warming effect helps to improve microcirculation. It is soothing, invigorating and makes the scalp feel amazing, and my hair also looks and feels wonderful after using it. You simply apply it to the scalp and then massage for a few minutes, and then leave it in for about 5-10 minutes. Be sure to shampoo twice, to remove the residual oil, and then condition hair as you would normally. It has a wonderful orange aroma that is punctuated by the lavender oil, and it is such an amazing treat to the senses.

I like to follow by using René Furterer 5 Sens Enhancing Dry Oil (Reviewed HERE), which is a beautifully fast absorbing dry oil, that can be used on the hair and body. It has a lovely soft aroma that is a treat to the senses, but it isn't long lasting or in the least bit cloying. When I use it on my body, it melts into the skin and leaves it soft, supple, hydrated and nourished. For the hair, it offers extraordinary hydration and leaves locks soft, smooth and manageable. It tames frizz and fly-aways, and it gives hair a glossy shine.

White Sands Orchids Oil Review

If fighting frizz and fly-aways is an ongoing battle for you, then I have been having great success keeping these pesky issues at bay with White Sands Orchids Oil. This silicone-based hair oil effortlessly tames frizz, smooths out hair and leaves it soft, manageable and shiny. It has a light floral fragrance, but it is neither overpowering, nor is it long-lasting. I simply apply a small amount of this mid-weight emollient oil to my damp or dry hair, and work it though its length, and then either let it air dry, or blow dry it. It's just that simple, and it's completely fuss-free.

Overall Assessment: I am very pleased with this hair oil, and love that it allows me to effortlessly comb through my freshly washed curly locks. If you like silicone-based hair serums, then this is definitely one to try.

If you have dry hair in need of serious nourishment, then Philip B. Rejuvenating Oil is a game changer with which you become acquainted. It is a wonderful treat for the hair and scalp, and I cannot sufficiently underscore the extent to which I love this ultra-effective oil.

As you already know, my hair is not damaged, but it is naturally curly and on the dry side.
