WYLYS Phyto Green Cleansing Balm is an utterly gorgeous cleansing balm that melts into the skin and it does an exquisite job cleaning dirt and makeup. It transforms from a lightweight balm to a creamy and milky emulsion, and it rinses completely clean and leaves behind no oily residue, whatsoever. It leaves skin soft, smooth, supple and hydrated. It is very concentrated, and therefore you only need to massage a tiny amount into your skin. It has a wonderful herbaceous aroma, but it isn't in the least bit imposing, instead it is very pleasant and calming.

CLE Cosmetics Serumide 4% Ceramide Concentrate is a ceramide and antioxidant-rich serum that has the consistency of a light gel-like lotion. The ceramide concentration helps to strengthen the skin barrier while keeping the skin hydrated. It includes the ultra-hydrating Hyaluronic Acid that plumps fine lines and smoothes the complexion, and it sinks into the skin immediately leaving behind no residue whatsoever. The amino acid and antioxidant-rich formula protects skin from environmental stressors, such as free-radicals, but it contains no sunscreen, and therefore you will need to use a separate sunscreen to further protect your skin.

It has a light and calming aroma, that is uplifting because of the essential oils of Rosemary and Eucalyptus, but it is neither cloying, nor does the aroma linger. It offers serious moisture, and for my normal/combination skin it can be used in lieu of a moisturizer during the summer months.

This silky, skin-soothing serum contains 4% ceramide concentrate to strengthen the skin’s barrier and deliver deep moisture for a healthy, plump and hydrated complexion. Directions: Use in the morning and evening. Using 2-3 pumps, apply a generous layer of Serumide onto a freshly cleansed and toned face or after your moisturizer.

After Serumide has been absorbed, follow up with a moisturizer to lock in its benefits. For dry to normal skin types, apply moisturizer as normal. For oily skin types, apply only a thin layer of moisturizer to cleansed skin.

CLE Cosmetics Melting Lip Powders come out of the tube as a powder, but they immediately melt into a liquid. They have a matte finish, and they can be applied with a light hand for a wash of color, or layered for maximum pigmentation and intensity. While there is a matte finish,  they are not at all drying on the lips. Ingredients such as Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil and Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid ensure that it isn't a typical drying matte lipstick. In fact, CLE Cosmetics has formulated them for use on the lips, cheeks and eyelids. I have not tested it on my eyes or cheeks, but I am impressed by its longevity on my lips. If you like a long wearing lipstick, but don't like to wear mattes, then this can be layered under your favorite lip gloss as well. Boxwalla's mini set, featuring six gorgeous shades, is a perfect way to try lovely Melting Lip Powders.

Once friction is applied, the powder will dissolve into a long-lasting tint. All colors can be mixed together and/or layered to create your own customized shade and can be used on lips, eyes, and cheeks.

The first initial applications of the Melting Lip Powder will release powder fallout. After a few uses, the encapsulated essence will release, effectively “melting” the powder and making it easier to apply without losing any product.

CLE Cosmetics Fluid Touch Liquid Liner Review

CLE Cosmetics Fluid Touch Liquid Liner is a long-wearing waterproof liquid eyeliner that is very easy to use. It has a fine point for very fine lines, but can also make thicker lines by using the edge of the pen. The black shade can be applied with a light touch for less intense pigmentation, or built up for a rich and highly saturated application of color. I have sensitive eyes, and this formula is gentle and non-irritating for me. If you love a classic cat-eye, this is a great tool for the job!

CLE Cosmetics Melting Lip Powder in Desert Rose Review & Swatches

CLE Cosmetics Melting Lip Powder in Desert Rose is a beautiful deep, dusty rose shade with a slight brown undertone. It comes out of the tube as a powder, but it immediately melts into a liquid. It has a matte finish, and can be used with a light hand for a wash of color, or layered for maximum pigmentation and intensity. While it has a matte finish, it isn't drying on the lips. Ingredients such as Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil and Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid ensure that it isn't a typical drying matte lipstick. CLE Cosmetics Hydro Blot Loose Powder Review

In my experience, and despite the fact that I have normal/combination skin, I have always found it difficult to find a non-drying loose or pressed powder. As a result, I nearly always skip finishing powders. When CLE Cosmetics asked me if I wanted to try the new CLE Cosmetics Hydro Blot Loose Powder, I immediately said yes because I have been consistently impressed by their products, and because this powder includes encapsulated Hyaluronic Acid among its ingredients. Therefore, I knew that it would attract, rather than repel, hydration. 

Initially cool to the touch, this translucent powder boasts a powder-to-liquid formulation that immediately melts into the skin leaving a semi-matte finish that looks natural, rather than dry. It sets foundations, blurs imperfections and gives skin a beautiful radiance.

For All Skin Types: Normal, combination, and/or oily skin. Can also be applied on dry, sensitive, and/or mature skin.

Directions: For a natural set, dispense a small amount of powder onto the puff applicator. Gently pat down the powder evenly throughout the face. If you’re using a makeup brush, tap some of the powder onto the cap and swirl the brush to get product.

To get more product, press the puff against the net and flip it upside down.

For oily skin, dispense a small amount of powder onto the puff applicator and touch up desired areas throughout the day.

With a majority of the ingredients consisting of skin benefiting essence, Hydro Blot Loose Powder can be applied on bare face, before and/or after makeup application.

Overall Assessment: This is such a wonderful loose powder, and I am thrilled that CLE Cosmetics opted to use encapsulated Hyaluronic Acid in this gem. Nicely done!

CLE Cosmetics CCC Cream Review and Swatches

CLE Cosmetics CCC Cream, which stands for Color Control and Change Cream (CCC), is a primer, sunscreen and foundation in one. This beautiful multipurpose skin perfecter has a lightweight texture that melts into the skin, and it offers sheer and yet buildable coverage with a lovely satin dewy finish. It feels light, rather than heavy on the skin, and if you love an ethereal glow and excellent coverage, then this is a wonderful choice in lieu of a primer, sunscreen and heavier foundation.

This cruelty-free, vegan and gluten-free beauty is free of artificial fragrances, but it has a very faint aroma that is informed by the Bergamot, Orange and Ylang Ylang Essential Oils, but it is neither cloying, nor long-lasting. 

It utilizes both physical and chemical sunscreens, Titanium Dioxide 8.88%, Octinoxate 7.00% and Octisalate 3.00% respectively, and the level of sun protection varies from 30 to 50 depending on the shade of the CCC Cream.

Directions: Apply a pea-sized amount of CCC Cream to cleansed & prepped skin. Using your fingertips, blend from the center of your face outward (hint: the warmth from your fingers will help bring the pigment out). Continue to blend with your fingertips until the capsules release their pigment and the color adjusts to your skin tone. If extra coverage is preferred, build upon the color by adding another pea-sized amount of CCC Cream to skin after the first layer has set in.

Overall Assessment: I love lighter coverage from tinted moisturizers, and I prefer dewy to matte finishes, and therefore CLE Cosmetics CCC Cream is perfect for me. It is also a wonderful choice for the summer, but I will be wearing this when the weather cools down as well. This is a very nice product, and I am thrilled to have discovered it.

CLE Cosmetics Serumide 4% Ceramide Concentrate is ceramide and antioxidant-rich serum that has the consistency of a light gel-like lotion. It includes the ultra-hydrating Hyaluronic Acid that plumps fine lines and smoothes the complexion, and it sinks into the skin immediately leaving behind no residue whatsoever. It is lightly scented with the uplifting essential oils of Rosemary and Eucalyptus, but it is neither cloying, nor does the aroma linger. It offers serious moisture, and for my normal/combination skin it can be used in lieu of a moisturizer during the summer months. I have been using it regularly, beyond my initial product testing, and I am really impressed by the results.

According to CLE Cosmetics,

This silky, skin-soothing serum contains 4% ceramide concentrate to strengthen the skin’s barrier and deliver deep moisture for a healthy, plump and hydrated complexion. This age defying formula also offers protection against environmental stressors and delivers antioxidants, amino acids, and hyaluronic acid for visibly brighter, hydrated skin.

Directions: Use in the morning and evening. Using 2-3 pumps, apply a generous layer of Serumide onto a freshly cleansed and toned face or after your moisturizer.

After Serumide has been absorbed, follow up with a moisturizer to lock in its benefits. For dry to normal skin types, apply moisturizer as normal. For oily skin types, apply only a thin layer of moisturizer to cleansed skin.

Overall Assessment: This is a wonderful serum, and CLE Cosmetics is a brand worth trying.
