Arbonne Skincare Picks to Ring in 2017

Press Sample (Unaffiliated Links)

I have been so impressed by the quality and efficacy of Arbonne products that I wanted to share a few of my favorites that are worthy of your consideration. Their products can be purchased through their website, or through their independent consultants. I know a consultant, Shelby Mota, who I highly recommend if you are considering an Arbonne purchase (I am not compensated for the sale of any of their products).

According to Arbonne,

“We develop our skincare products by carefully selecting botanical ingredients known for specific beneficial properties. Through innovation in science, we introduce formulas that make skin look more healthy, youthful and beautiful.” Dr. Peter Matravers | Chief Scientific Officer
Arbonne RE9 Lifting and Contouring Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen (List Price $68.00. Currently $47.60 for 1.7 oz. from Arbonne): This is a rich, hydrating cream that is remarkably lightweight and fast absorbing. It contains a mineral sunscreen with an SPF 15, and it leaves behind no white residue or film. I makes skin look and feel lifted, moisturized, smooth and supple. I still use a stand-alone sunscreen since  my dermatologist told me to never leave the house wearing less than an SPF 30.

According to Arbonne,

This rich, hydrating cream gets into the spring of things. The formula targets skin elasticity for a firmer, more lifted appearance, and protects with a mineral physical sunscreen that provides UVA/UVB protection. Collagen-supporting ingredients help enhance the appearance of a smoother, more defined silhouette.

Ingredients: Active Ingredient: Zinc Oxide 4.45% Purpose: Sunscreen. Inactive Ingredients: Water, C12-15 alkyl benzoate, glycerin, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, polyglyceryl-3 methylglucose distearate, cetyl alcohol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, cetyl dimethicone, cetyl palmitate, dimethicone, behenyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, squalane, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, isononyl isononanoate, hydroxyethyl acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, hydroxyethylcellulose, xanthan gum, caprylyl glycol, sodium lauroyl glutamate, stearic acid, polysorbate 60, sorbitan isostearate, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, hippophae rhamnoides oil, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, osmanthus fragrans flower extract, paeonia albiflora root extract, chondrus crispus extract, laminaria digitata extract, ganoderma lucidum (mushroom) stem extract, serenoa serrulata fruit extract, anthemis nobilis flower extract, cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract, trifolium pratense (clover) flower extract, undaria pinnatifida extract, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, panthenol, tocopheryl acetate, pantolactone, acetyl tetrapeptide-2, vinyl dimethicone/methicone silsesquioxane crosspolymer, micrococcus lysate, biosaccharide gum-1, disodium acetyl glucosamine phosphate, ethylhexylglycerin, citric acid, caprylhydroxamic acid, phytic acid, sodium citrate, aminomethyl propanediol, propanediol, triethoxycaprylylsilane, chlorphenesin, phenoxyethanol, glyoxal, sodium nitrate.

According to Arbonne,

Things are really looking up. Achieve the appearance of more awakened, lifted skin along the delicate eye area. This rich cream helps skin look firmer and tighter around the eyes, and feel more plump and cushioned. Reveal skin that looks velvety smooth, replenished, and more youthful. Ophthalmologist- and dermatologist-tested.

Arbonne RE9 Night Repair Crème ($85.00 for 1 oz. from Arbonne): This is a very thick and rich nighttime cream that deeply hydrates the skin while you sleep. It is very concentrated, therefore I warm a tiny amount in my hands before massaging it into warm, freshly cleansed skin. The following morning I note that my skin is soft, smooth, hydrated and luminous. It has no detectable scent, and it feels so wonderful on the skin.

Arbonne RE9  Cellular Renewal Masque ($67.00 for 1.7 oz. from Arbonne): I love face masks, and among my favorites are those that are formulated to exfoliate dead skin cells in order to reveal luminous skin, and this is just that type of mask. You simply apply a generous amount to clean skin. leave it on for about 6 minutes and then thoroughly rinse it off. I do experience some redness and tingling since it actively exfoliates dead skin, but for me it is neither unpleasant, nor painful. If you have particularly sensitive skin you might want to patch test it to see whether you can use this. My skin is left fresh, luminous and more even in tone.

According to Arbonne,

You glow, girl. This masque gently exfoliates to visibly improve the appearance of skin tone and texture, minimize the look of pores, and provide a radiant glow

Directions: Use one to two times per week at night. After cleansing and drying skin, smooth a generous layer of masque over face, avoiding eyelids or getting into eyes. Leave masque on for 5 to 7 minutes. Slight transient tingling or redness may be experienced and is normal for a masque of this type. If irritation occurs, stop use immediately and consult a dermatologist. Rinse with tepid water or use a warm washcloth. Pat dry and follow with serum and night crème.
