I was recently introduced to the makeup and skincare brand, Bodyography, and I thought that I would share my initial impressions about the products that I have tried from their range. Their cruelty-free products are quite pleasurable to use, they deliver on their promises, and they are affordable. Unsurprisingly, the three products that I received are perfect for the warm months of summer, and will definitely work well as the weather transitions into fall.

About Bodyography,

Bodyography is a boutique professional makeup line for amateurs and professionals alike, conceptualized and manufactured in the USA. But we're more than just your traditional makeup line. We offer cruelty-free, mineral-based makeup with clean ingredients that are infused with skincare benefits such as fruit and plant-derived vitamins and antioxidants. Along with our top-of-the-line formulations, we also offer Vegan, Paraben-Free, and Gluten-Free products that will fit into any lifestyle. The color payoff and quality of our products are undeniable, but what really makes us shine is the way our makeup feels on the skin—our weightless formulas are incomparable!
Bodyography Hydrating Mask ($31.00 for 1.9 oz. from Bodyography): I am such a huge fan of antioxidant-rich hydrating masks, and especially love using them during the hot months of summer– when my normal to combination skin has a tendency to become a bit dehydrated. This delectable mask smells like watermelon and has a thick, silky-smooth consistency that feels amazing on the skin. After massaging it into clean skin, and leaving it on for about 15 minutes, this mask leaves skin remarkably hydrated while it plumps fine lines and leaves skin soft, smooth, and dewy.

According to Bodyography,

Formulated with age-defying antioxidant fruit and plant extracts, this remarkably active mask hydrates skin while improving texture and reducing dryness and fine lines. Antioxidants like Watermelon, Green Tea, and Apple Fruit Extract give your skin a healthy boost and a beautiful natural glow. With continued use, this mask will leave skin plump, soft, hydrated, and ready to face the day.
 Features:
• Cruelty-Free & Gluten-Free
• Infused with age-defying antioxidant fruit & plant extracts
• Hydrates & smooths skin
• Can be used daily for ultimate hydration
• Formulated without parabens, gluten, sulfates, phthalates, & triclosan

Directions: Massage a thick layer on cleansed face. Leave on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse off with water.

Bodyography Foundation Primer ($31.00 for 1 oz. from Bodyography): This silicone-based hydrating primer has the most luxurious velvety texture against the skin. It is filled with nourishing antioxidants, vitamins and hydrating oils that moisturize the skin while leaving a perfect base for foundations. It softens the appearance of fine lines and improves the longevity of foundations, tinted moisturizers and other finishing products.

According to Bodycology,

Since its release, our Foundation Primer has become one of our most popular products. With antioxidants, vitamins A and E, and Jojoba and Grape Seed oil, this weightless, anti-aging primer fills in fine lines and wrinkles, prevents collagen breakdown, and gives the skin a silky smooth, long-lasting, flawless base.
 Features:
• Cruelty-Free & Gluten-Free
• Extends the wear of foundation & controls oil & shine
• Creates a uniform canvas for flawless makeup application
• Softens fine lines & wrinkles
• Non-comedogenic formula won't clog pores
• Formulated without parabens & gluten

Bodyography Epic Lash Lengthening & Curling Mascara ($20.00 for 0.3 oz. from Bodyography): I don't tend to get very worked up about mascaras, and truth be told it is one makeup product that I often skip altogether. That said, I really like this one. It is jet-black, as Bodycology asserts, and it does a very respectable job lengthening and volumizing lashes. The unique shape of the wand is constructed to lift and curl, but it also enables one to easily separate lashes, to avoid clumping, and it lets you get into the lower lashes without any trouble!

According to Bodyography,

A jet-black mascara that lengthens, volumizes, curls and conditions lashes. Features a unique silicone double-sided comb wand for ultimate lift and curl.
Features:
• Cruelty-Free & Gluten-Free
• Helps lashes appear wider, fuller, & stronger with Widelash™ containing Provitamin B5
• Comfortable all-day wear that will not flake or smudge
• Build lashes to your desired volume & effect
• Best removed with warm water followed by a makeup wipe
• Formulated without parabens & gluten
Overall Assessment: I am quite impressed by these three gems from Bodyography, and am thoroughly obsessed with the Hydrating Mask. I am sufficiently impressed that I want to further investigate their skincare and makeup.

  1. I don’t think I’ve tried Bodyography yet, but I always thought they only made bath and body products because of their name. I love the look and sound of the mask! And I always am interested in hydrating primers

  3. I'm enjoying this mask. Watermelon is my favorite summer fruit so the fragrance is appealing to me and it feels so refreshing on my face. I don't go without mascara since my eyes disappear without it.
