I have been to my share of music festivals over the years, and there are a few essentials that I would never forego: sunscreen, bug spray and hair ties. Of course it goes without saying that sunglasses, water and clothing appropriate for hot days and colder nights are also essential for music festival attendees. As Labor Day approaches, and summer gives way to fall, we have a bit more time to enjoy the care-free days of season. If you are planning on spending the holiday playing in the sun and barbecuing with family and friends, make sure that you have adequately stocked up on high SPF sunscreens, wear protective SPF clothing and perhaps even have some bug spray on hand.
