It has a luxurious creamy consistency that melts right into the skin leaving behind a satin, soft-focus finish with luminosity. Furthermore, it offers buildable coverage, and can be sheered out for natural sheer coverage, or built up for full coverage. On my normal/combination skin, this foundation lasts a ll day without a primer, but if your skin is particularly oily you might want to use a primer. I was concerned that Fair Golden No.2 would be too warm for my cool-toned skin, but much to my surprise it works well.

I often forgo wearing mascara because I have very limited the in the mornings to get ready and head out the door for work, but I have always sought an effective mascara that nourishes the lashes, creates full natural lashes that separate. define and enhance my lashes without clumping, flaking or irritating my sensitive eyes. Directions: Gently wiggle the wand back and forth from the roots to the tips of lashes. Repeat if desired for added length and thickness.

You simply warm a small with your fingers and apply directly to the face, or apply it with a brush. As a blush, I just apply it with my fingers and it blends effortlessly without emphasizing pores or fine lines. It deposits color evenly, and it offers long-lasting buildable coverage. On me it lasts all day without any fading, streaking, or pilling. It has a natural finish that creates the illusion of a lit from within healthy glow.

When I wear it on my lips I either apply it with my finger or with a lip brush, and it neither settles into lip lines, nor does it bleed and feather. Furthermore, I get about 4 hours of wear-time from a single application. I have not tried it on my eyes, therefore I cannot comment on how it wears.

I had the pleasure of attending the Pharmaca Friends & Family Event featuring mini-facials, makeovers, and chair massages at the Pacific Palisades location on Saturday July 19, 2014 (announced here), and it was an amazing event, indeed! This is the Pharmaca location where I have shopped for years, and not only is it a fantastic Pharmaca, but it is nestled in the Palisades which is one of my very favorite Los Angeles neighborhoods.

While I was waiting for my facial I walked around browsing at all of the amazing beauty finds, and observed all of the people getting massages, facials and makeovers.

When it was time for my facial appointment I was greeted by Joan Uemura Shure who is not only a lovely person, but one of the most gifted Holistic Aestheticians. She is among the elite list of Evan Healy approved Aestheticians, and it took no time to see why!

Joan gave me a mini-version of her Luninescence Signature Facial exclusively featuring Evan Healy Skincare. This is normally a 90 minute facial, but the mini-facial version is a more abbreviated version of this restorative and regenerative treatment. 

Joan describes it as an, "outward and inward experience. More than just a regimen of skin care, my facial treatments are an honoring of your entire being providing a whole body healing experience."
